Hello, everyone. Old friends, hi again.
For those who don't know me, my name is Marira. I also go by Mari, Rira, and, well, whatever else you can come up with.
I've been an on and off member of this site ever since I was, idk, 15? Though my contribution didn't REALLY kick off until I got a Kindle Fire for my 17th birthday (had wifi connection, so cool! ah, 2012) I was an active member until I left to join the Air Force, around 2014.
Why did I leave, you might ask? Well, a few months before I left I had hit a huge wall (more like my ego was heavily bruised) and I sorta lost my muse. To top it all off, I was overall not liking the kind of person that I was becoming, having the level of popularity that I did while I was here. The biggest thing that made me leave was when I left, I now had to focus on bigger things, like training and my career overall.
Why did I come back? Well, I did try to get back into rp'ing, and explored other sites. While, the people there are great, I really missed the memories and rapport I developed here. I have never developed as a writer more than when I was on this website. Also last night I had a dream about one of the characters I made, which I thought was super cool, so I felt like I had to come back haha. I've served my time, and I'm back home, so I definitely have more time on my hands lol.
I'll mostly be around here lurking, seeing who's still around who remembers me. and slowly I'll work up to getting my feet wet and eventually jumping into some super fun RPs, and having a good time.
