The mind is a fearsome thing, don't tread on it.
Okay, so all of the hat heavily depends on the ability that is given once territory is set up. It also depends on the range. Let's say for instance that you have a small territory, but within that small territory you have control over something that is powerful. For this example let's go with gravity. Let's say once you set up a territory of 5 m radius, you have absolute control over gravity within that 5 m radius. The smaller area would cut your setup time by roughly 50 seconds. However, the complete control of gravity within the radius is a very potent ability. As such that would add some time. All together, it would take roughly 30 seconds to apply. Against opponents that have instant access to their powers and familiars, 30 seconds can be a death sentence. However, once you have it set up you become nigh unstoppable. The stronger the ability the more you risk yourself setting it up.How much time does it generally take to "set up" a Territory familiar? If say the range is 10 meters radius, can the user react to an urgent situation within 10 meters with a few seconds notice? Or is it like a few minutes to get going?
And does the Territory move with the user once established?
As far as a moving territory, that is possible, but it would require a less impactful power. Like slightly moving the trajectory of a moving object. Something along those lines. It's reserved specifically for abilities that seem less useful, but when applied correctly can turn the tide of a battle. The territory would also have to be incredibly small. Let's use the trajectory thing as an example. You have a territory type, high-end rule. The territory only encompasses your body and you have a rule that so long as you are looking directly in your opponent's eyes, the blade or object will shift slightly to the right or left. Simple and easy. This territory will move with your body and affect the outcome of the battle, but your own personal skill comes into play and you are now responsible for making sure your eyes never leave your opponents or you risk getting cut when you adjust for what you think it's going to do. It's a balancing act. Balancing potency of power and range on top of deciding how long you are willing to risk your life to set up your amazing power.
