Syrrus
Wishful bard
Blasted, blasted, blasted.
Running through the tall grass she threw herself over the cliff, she went free fall for a few meters and processed by rolling back up on her feet as soon as she landed. Behind her ran her trusty companion, Cat. He was little else but a cat in fact, but as many knew the feline race were nothing like pet cats. They were fierce warriors, short but strong and awfully talkative.
"Watch out!!" She screamed from the top of her lunges as she threw herself to the side, dodging a fireball by an inch. She could feel the heat rush by her face and her widened eyes described the shock that went through her body. That had been too close. The giant beast that towered behind her was nothing to sniff at and in her defense, Ricci had not intended to interact with it. Not one bit.
The young woman continued to run, there was little else to do when she were this unprepared. Cat stumbling behind her and fell flat on his. The girl shouted and quickly turned, running sideways on a wall like a chinchilla to manage a perfect U turn, missing the giant dragoness just barely. Ricci threw herself onto her knees, slid the majority of the way towards her companion and grabbed him.
With cat under her arm she quickly stood back up, gazing upon the giant lizard who had slammed her head against the mountain wall. The beast was angry. It's orange scales shined like gold in the glowing sunlight. It craned it massive neck and caught the human who had been snaking around her nest with her legs on her back, running into the thick woods. The human would never be able to escape so the monster gave chase, after roaring like thunder.
Ricca jumped over a large root that blocked her path and continued forward, cursing loudly. The creatures of the forest, which usually attempted to attack her whenever they saw her decided it was best to stay hidden for close behind came the dragoness, destroying trees, bushes and plants in its path. She clearly wanted revenge for something or rather. The young woman seemed less intent of accepting this challenge, for she was far from stupid. In fact; she quite enjoyed her life which was why she ran and ran. The leather, feathers and cloth that hang around her slender figured snapped and swayed in the wind behind her. It was easy enough to move around in her clothing, which was why she wore it. She wasn't much for body armor - it made sneaking and running so much harder - thought she could admit that in situations like this she probably would have liked at least a helmet that wasn't made of her own brown hair.
