A Hogwarts Adventure (open to all)

She laughed softly, the sound a rare occurance for her as she nudged him back again.

'Don't sound so serious Al, the persona doesn't suit you.' She teased lightly before becoming serious herself. She looked out the window briefly, wondering if the others had come in yet.

'I don't know... I wish the professors would give us some answers but I don't think even they know what's happening. Everyone has just run away because they don't want to face the situation. I always thought that it was too calm for there not to be something going on somewhere. The entire world has been rejoicing for years over the end of Lord Voldemort's reign of terror, but I really couldn't believe that could be the end. There will always be someone wanting power.. I think someone has finally decided to try and obtain it.' She said quietly, not trying to seem like she knew what was going on but want him to hear her theory. She sighed softly, joining him on the bench and leaning against him.

'You know, I never asked. Why did you stay at the school? Why didn't you leave with the rest of our house?'

Alabaster half frowned. "I never told you, did I? Mum hasn't sent word for five months. The last I heard of her was in a letter, and she was writing that there'd been a problem at the house. You know of my stepfather, right? Richard, he ... Apparently he'd gone out ... Mum told me she was about to looking for him, that she was sure it was nothing. Then she stopped writing altogether." Lines briefly etched themselves into his forehead, but he closed his eyes and his face went calm. "I was sure something had happened to them, something wrong. Something bad. I went to the Headmaster, but he said I was to stay here. They didn't have the resources to send a team to investigate what had happened, and he told me it was likely to end in my capture or death if I disobeyed to go and check myself." A muscle in his jaw twitched, and his smile was put-on and sad, turning it into a painful grimace. "Eli ... Am I a coward for not going? I just ... I figured the Headmaster knew more than I did and if he told me to stay ... But I thought he'd have sent word to someone who could have acted, who could have looked for them ... " He trailed off and leaned back into her, finding comfort in the familiarity of the gesture. "I just don't know what to do."

Eliade bit her lip, toying with the signant ring she wore on her right hand.

'That's what happened with my aunt. That's why i'm here... She just disappeared, her and my cousin Fraya. They just vanished out of the house one night and no one knew any different.' She glanced up at him with her storm blue eyes, wondering why they hadn't spoken about it before now. Perhaps because it was such a tender subject, one that they all attempted to avoid. She smiled at him briefly.

'I don't think you're a coward Al, You're the one that kept me from doing anything stupid when I was close to the edge. You were the only one that noticed. You're a great wizard Alabaster, the greatest I've ever known.' She said, her smile sincere and she kissed him on the cheek, a friendly, absent minded gesture that she hadn't meant to be anything more than that.

He raised his eyebrows for half a second, then nudged her playfully. "Oh please." He snickered, resting his forehead on her shoulder once he'd leaned down. "The greatest wizard you've ever known. Yeah right."

He grinned as he raised up, then he paused as his wide smile slowly fell to a sincere lift of one corner of his mouth, and he put his arm around her shoulder for a moment. "I'm sorry about your family, Eli. Really, I am. We'll find 'em one day, you and me." He stood then, looping his scarf around her shoulder and tugging, causing her to stand.

"Now, didn't you say we'd meet those others somewhere? I'd forgotten."

(It's high time for a brief physical description of Alabaster, isn't it?)

Alabaster Chambers is a tall, lanky young man with pale skin and dusky brown hair that is medium length, reaching perhaps just past his jaw in some places. His hair manages to be thick and wispy at the same time. He is straight-backed and slender, with wiry muscle tone. The Ravenclaw colors suit him. His eyes are gunmetal grey and always bright.

Waitin on you two before I reply again .-. ]]

(Erm, I dunno if I'm fit to be the one to do this, but I'll try. I'm a wee confused myself, so this is what I know.

The group of three that is Johnny, Sarah, and Autumn are still outside, along with Seraphinus. Eliade and Alabaster have gone inside, telling the others they'd meet them in the Room of Requirement when they decided to come inside. Eliade and Alabaster are on their way to the RoR now. So someone outside's gonna have to take the initiative to either follow or decided against it, right? That's what I assume. I have no idea what's going on with the plot, other than there are children and people going missing/being kidnapped, so it's dangerous to be outside the walls of the school. ... Right? Lol, at any rate, that's the page I'm on.)

Eliade punched him playfully as she stood up. 'I'm serious you know. You really are an amazing wizard.' She exclaimed, frustrated that he didn't believe her. She smiled at his words, biting her lip anxiously.

'Thanks Al, that means a lot to me. But don't you think we need to figure out what's going on first?' She asked, flicking a stubborn strand of hair out of her eyes. At his mention of the other three she nodded, having forgotten about them.

'Yeah... i hope they're actually going to turn up. We should probably head to the room of requirement and wait for them there.' She said in a soft tone.

Alabaster raised an eyebrow. "Well, I know I'm good. Maybe even really good," he said with a wink and a grin. "But, the best? Surely not. See, there's you keeping me from that title." He nudged her as they walked again, smiling, reveling in the fact his best friend was still there with him.

"But yeah, perhaps we ought to get there and ... Hey, maybe one of them has some answers about what's going on? They've been out and about. Surely they've seen or heard something useful?"

Eliade rolled her eyes at her friend. 'You're forgetting something very obvious there. I'm a female, which makes me a Witch.' She pointed out, returning his nudge. She wondered how long they could argue like this, neither one of them succeeding in winning this argument. It could be a while, she thought to herself, smiling slightly. She enjoyed their arguments. They kept her mind off of the fear that plagued her. She shrugged at his suggestion.

'If they have they probably didn't pay attention to it. I mean the way they're acting anyone would think they couldn't see the condition the castle is in.'

[[ ... We're basically waiting for Lawrence Litkey , Lizzi tick , and Xx-Katherine-xX to reply that you're moving inside. I have been ready to for like two pages, but don't want to post and leave you guys behind. It doesn't have to be anything too fancy, just move yourself into the castle so we can keep going, please .-. ]]

"well if you're not going to go in, I certainly am" Sarah said to Jhonny, she waited for an answer but there was no reply "well see you then" she said and went over to Seraphinus (if thats how you spell it) "name please?" she asked him as nicely as she could even though she sounded mean.

( is that okay)

Seraphinus had been patient enough. He was just about to leave without them, when the young girl approached him. "Seraphinus Malfoy," he answered, glancing back at Johnny. "And if he can't make up his mind, I'm going to help you make up yours. Let's go." He led the way into the remains of Hogwarts, his footsteps nearly identical to Alabaster and Eliade as he navigated his way to the room of requirement. "You haven't been gone long," he mentioned as they walked, his pace brisk as he tried to catch up to the others. "Did you leave on your own, Sarah?"

Sarah didn't find any troble keeping up with Seraphinus, it seemed like he was in a hurry "yes I did," she awnsered him "so do you know what happened here?" she asked him as they approached the room of requiremt and she wasn't really surprised to find Eliade and Alabaster there. At the same time she was worried about Johnny, why did he stay? she asked herself keeping her head down and making sure Saraphinus couldn't see her worried face.

Eliade looked up in surprise as Seraphinus and one of the other girls, the one named Sarah, she thought, walked in.

'Oh so you do actually have mind to get out of view occasionally?' She then frowned, noticing that Johnny wasn't with her.

'Where's Johnny?' She asked, slightly surprised. She would have thought that he couldn't bare to be abandoned. But it would seem, if he did intend to come, that he was taking his own sweet time.

Seraphinus heard her question perfectly well, but remained silent the entire walk. When they entered the room, he shrugged his shoulders, plopping down in an empty chair. "He didn't follow, we didn't wait," he said plainly, a smug expression on his lips. Perhaps it was inherited? Sadly, the room was rather vacant, especially considering this was just about everyone who was left. "I won't be doing the story telling, just so you all know in advanced."

Eliade glanced at the blonde guy, frowning slightly.

'He better not do anything stupid out there. If he's smart he'll come find us.' She glanced around the room, walking over to a bookshelf and pulling a small leatherbound book from a shelf. She reached into a bag and pulled out her quill and ink, murmuring soft incantations to herself as she began to write her daily log. She had been doing it since the disappearances started and she didn't intend to stop now.

'So I'm assuming you spoke to the headmaster today Seraphinus. Did he have anything new to tell us?'

Seraphinus leaned back in his chair, sighing. "You know how Professor Augur Moriate is," he offered weakly, knowing that wouldn't be enough for the snoopy girl. "Nothing knew from the Minister or anyone in the Ministry of Magic. They assure us they're looking into the manner and trust that we're taking the proper steps to protect ourselves. However, at this time, they are unable to send anyone to assist us." His answer was almost verbatim from what he had been told, mostly because he had been saying the same message for the past week. "Apparently they're still having issues with attacks of their own and can't spare even a couple of Aurors to protect their future." Now he definitely was smug, almost angry as he looked away from Eliade and across the room, focusing intently on a large wardrobe.

Eliade sighed, finishing writing in her journal before closing it and looking up at the Malfoy boy.

'So in other words, the same bull they've been spouting since this all started. They just don't get it. People might be dying!' She exclaimed, clenching her fists. She hated that she hadn't been able to help her family, and now the ministry wasn't even doing anything to help either. She looked over to Alabaster who had been strangely quiet.

'Al... Are you okay?'

(Paper Heart)

Alabaster was sitting cross-legged in an enormous armchair, his eyes intense, biting his lip thoughtfully. At Eliade's question, he raised and eyebrow and his eyes darted over to rest on her. "Oh yes," he said. "Quite well, just ... A little unnerved, if I'm being perfectly honest. It's been long enough like this, and I'm sure others would agree with me, I'm just about going mad with all the waiting, all the dancing around straight answers." He was quiet a moment, glaring at the floorboards. "There has to be something we can do ... a message we can send ... to get them to pay attention to what's going on here. We need answers. Even if they're having a bloody hard time with whatever it is, in my opinion they can spare at least one git to explain what we're all dealing with to we students."

Again, he was quiet, and he looked up at the other three. "Don't you think?"

Eliade nodded, biting her lip slightly.

'Yes, I agree. But they don't take us seriously. To them we're just kids, plain and simple. They don't care about anyone anymore. I can't remember the last time we had a minister that gave a damn about us.' Her words were angry as she clenched her fists tightly around the book. She didn't want to be in the dark about this.

[Lawrence Litkey hasn't been on since August 10th x.x Not sure if anyone wants to wait and see if he has anything in mind since he was the creator.]]

While Seraphinus's gaze was on the wardrobe, he heard everything both Alabaster and Eliade spoke of. "There's no point in getting angry," he said, his tone soft as he turned to Eliade, "They're in the same boat as we are. Hell, for all we know, they could be in a boat that's in the process of sinking to the ocean floor and they're trying to spare us by keeping us in the dark." While the thought was one he'd had before and ignored, he wondered now if it was indeed a possibility. "All we can do is protect who is left and hope that those who are gone are not harmed."
