"I swear it was one thousand five hundred" Jack frowned

The doctor shrugged. "My prices went up. These are hard times, Jack."

Nikki smiled and whispered something to jack

The doctor smiled at both of them, holding out his hand.

"If you come upstairs with me good doctor" Nikki smiled

He raised an eyebrow. "Why?" he asked.

"You will see" she took his hand and led him upstairs

"an offer" she smiled, closing the door behind them

He frowned. "I'm still getting my money, aren't I?"

"My loving boy friend is unwilling to pay an extra 500" she sighed "so we have a proposition"

He scowled. "What might that be?"

"An hour with me now" she sighed "and a post as our head of medical staff"

He smiled. "Deal."

"Are you married, doctor?" She asked

He shook his head. "Not at the moment."

"Are you interested in me?" She asked quietly

He smirked. "Sure."

"Jack says I'm one of the perks of your new job" she looked down
