"Maybe you should let us know first, what you are doing, before just jumping to action" the poncho man would make a suggestion as he lowers his rifle, seeing that most of them have made it in without attracting the attention of unwanted visitors "... we are not your battle buddies, let me make it clear, you're working with survivors now, non-military, civilians... you get the point, we aren't as quick to pick up non-verbal expressions and think the same things, so you work with that"

At the very least, the rude lady apologized, he thought, the action stemming his rising temper for the time being as he starts on one of the MRE packs, quickly picking it apart and setting aside the water-heat packed foods, having very little water to spare for the fancy chemical food heating.

Nathan didn't bother responding to Ash- too much to unpack with that one. Instead, he watched as the man sat down and began fiddling with his gun. He responded hollowly to Cindy's attempt at fixing the situation. It was clear to Nathan that there was no getting through to him, possibly to any of them. This thought was quickly, and surprising, dashed by the man in the poncho. It was nice knowing the dark haired guy wasn't alone in his thinking. Nathan gave him a small nod of appreciation. He didn't want to assume that poncho was sticking up for him, but he certainly was sharing the same sentiment.
"FIne, let's all just get along then." Nathan ran a hand through his hair, letting his breath and his bitterness out in a long sigh. "So what's your name then?" He turned to the man in the poncho before extending a hand. "I'm Nathan."

"Greg..." he would take a moment looking at his hand, and handed him a tough cookie from the pack he unraveled, before remembering what the gesture was for, and gave him a weak shake "... right, handshakes... haven't had those in a while"

And it shows, with the way he holds it felt more like he was gripping onto a handle than a hand "... let's remember our faces before we shoot each other next moment we're in a gunfight"

"Hey... buddy, you're in the military, yeah? What do you suggest?" he called out to the soldier

The Marine looked up and listened to the others talk to each other, At least It was calming down for a bit. He turned his gaze to Greg after Greg asked Logan a question. "Good Question. How about search this place and maybe spend a night or two here? Maybe we'll find some things of interest in this place, Heck, Even maybe a decent bed too!" The Corporal laughed quietly and stood up. "I'm going upstairs to clear it out. Ya'll block or cover up the windows with stuff, I'll be up here checking shit out." He trudged up the stairs and swung his rifle in the direction of the hall.
"Breaching and Clearing Should be no problemo." He whispered as he walked down the hall while crouching. He pushed open a door with the butt of his rifle and peeked into the room. It was a decent room, a King-Sized bed, a few Mahogony dressers, a broken TV, you know, things like that. He then noticed a photo of a man and wife in a nice Tuxedo and white wedding dress, Which he picked up.
They seemed like a nice couple together, and Logan smiled softly as he stared at the photo. That brought back the good ol' days when he would be dared to ask out one of the hottest girls in High School. He sat the photo back down and exited the room quietly, heading towards the bathroom door he heard a creaking sound. He raised his rifle quickly and moved towards the door with quiet steps. He kicked open the door and saw nobody, Except for a fairly large rat. Logan picked the rat up and laughed quietly as he put it behind his back. He went back downstairs and said, "Yo, Anyone wanna see what I found?"

Things seemed to diffuse as fast as it has begun, and a ditzy smile returned to Cindy's face. Poncho Guy did great at deescalating Pipe Boy's anger, much better than the blonde's poor attempt. The Marine didn't want any Chicken Soup and Poncho Guy was already tearing into a MRE so with a shrug, she turned to set her bag down on a nearby kitchen counter. Cindy rustled loudly through it's contents, pulling out the packets and a few extra items.

She had all but forgotten about her pink nail varnish, and spared a happy glance towards Ash upon finding the little bottle. If they had enough time, maybe they could do that together later. It could be fun and the blonde could try cracking into that hard personality. Cindy slipped the polish back into her bag of garbage and kept looking.

Two small salt and pepper shakers. Sometimes the egg sandwiches she used to have for lunch needed a little more seasoning so she kept them on hand at all times. Spare napkins, stolen from a nearby public bathroom on one of her timid excursions and a travel-sized bottle of hand sanitizer, a necessity in her eyes. While the blonde knew having clean hands and good physical hygiene was difficult with the world's current state, you never could be too careful nowadays.

Full of glee she looked over the little setup. Their first family dinner. Charming. "You guys ready to eat? Gosh I'm ravenous, who'd like the tortellini?" She had spun on the heel of her shoe, sanitizer in hand, and was beaming at those still in the room. The marine had gone to scout the rest of the place, making her feel much more relaxed about any creepy crawlies. Not like she'd be able to do much even if there was. Maybe she could hit it with her bag. It did have some weight to it.

She offered the bottle of hand sanitizer in silent encouragement for those still there to hold their hands out.

“It’s crisp apple scented.” Cindy announced with an approving nod as if trying to bribe them over. "A clean place is a safe place." The phrase sounded like those posters in children's bathrooms to encourage them to wash their hands. Not like most children did that, dirty decrepit little things. She squirted the cold gel into her own hands, rubbing it into the skin and smiling at each of them in turn, tilting her head in curiosity once the marine showed up again holding something behind his back.

"Is it soap?" Cindy inquired, her first guess falling out of her mouth impulsively. "No, no wait.." The blonde pondered for a moment, preparing for another guess. "Socks. It's socks." She nodded again, confident. "Can tell from a mile away."

The man raised an eyebrow in confusion as Greg handed him a cookie. Then the idea seemed to dawn on the other man and he went in for the hand shake. Had it really been so long that he had forgotten about handshakes? Nathan supposed some people had been isolated from human contact and social interaction long before the apocalypse broke out. The handshake was awkward, but he said nothing about it. Instead he simply handed Greg back the cookie and nodded. "I suppose not killing each other would be a good idea."
After a moment he turned his attention to Cindy who was cheerfully chattering about food. A small smile tugged at the corner of his lips as she mentioned her cleaning mantra. "A safe place, huh? Well then who am I to refuse?" He held out his hands. They were caked in a layer of grime from sweating and maneuvering about the new environment. Washing his hands never felt like a high priority in the idea of survival, but maintaining normalcy was supposedly good for mental health.
Logan, the marine, clambered back down the stairs, looking somewhat eager. Nathan cocked his eye brow again, curious as to what might have been found. Something useful he imagined, considering the giddy look on the man's face. Cindy was quick to chime in with a number of guess. Nathan exhaled a sort of laugh. Her optimism, though born out of stupidity, was nice. "What about ear muffs, Cindy? Maybe he's got a nice pair of fur ear muffs." He posed the question with a smile.

Shard only continued to observe the group of survivors, which split up - Marine went somewhere deep in the building, when the rest began to cook food and casually talking to each other. At least it looked like casual talking. With conversations like this, it is quite possible to forget that chaos was going on around, but the weapon in the hands of Shard and everyone in the room once again reminded of their difficult fate. "Ankle boot" - This was the nickname the guy managed to give to the military man already - soon returned, holding something behind his back and attracting everyone's attention.
Shard wasn’t destined to find out what it was - in an attempt to take a cover, from which a better view on the group would open, the operator quite loudly walked along the small pieces of the wall that were left lying on the ground after the collision with the tank. This was probably heard by those who were inside the building.
«Твою ж…» Shard mumbled to himself in his native language and then instantly disappeared behind the tank with the same loud sound. The group can, actually, confuse Shard with infected in this situation, so the next thing he does was pronoucing "I ain't infected, hold your fire" phrase loud enough for those inside. He exposed himself already, so there is no point for being stealthy now.
It would be logical to run away in such situation, but the guy decided to stay behind the tank, ready his shotgun and just wait for further actions. Maybe those inside were friendly? Or maybe they not? Even if they will try to kill Shard – he’s pretty confident that he’ll manage to eliminate them all and then barter their loot, as well as tank parts, for something more valuable. Or, at least, buy himself enough time to run away. But gunfight will attract infected anyway, so it will be better if everything end up with no fight.

The Marine smiled as Cindy and both Nathan gave their suggestions on what was behind his back. "Nah, I saw a decent amount of soap in the bathroom and socks in the dressers. Although you were very close, It does have fur. It's a brown rat!" He pulled from behind his back and laughed as he rubs its head. The rat squeaked loudly and bit into his gloves. "Oh I see I got a fighter," He turns around and opens up the back door. "Here bud! Run free." He puts the rat down and it quickly scampers into the tall uncut grass, Then closed the back door.
He then heard was sounded like rustling noises and spelling from outside. The marine picked his rifle up and peered out the window. He looked around then didn't see anyone, Till he saw a head poke up from behind the tank.
"There ya are!" Logan gave a thumbs-up signal to the man, After seeing him and understanding what he was pronouncing. "I'm going out, To take care of a few Infected." He placed his rifle and pistol onto a nearby table, and opened the door a bit. "Poncho, Give me fire support IF anything goes out of hand." The Marine said as he quietly walked out the doorway.
He grabbed his bayonet and began his way to the nearest walker, Getting it down with a kick to the back of the leg, and a knife to the back of the skull. Blood dripped from the knife as he continued towards his next target and the man behind the tank.

Greg lets out a grunt as he was called to action once again in the middle of eating, the girl in the background was easily enough ignored, but the pat and seeing the military man moving out was not good to just ignore, becoming disgruntled as he was made to pause from stuffing himself and also followed his way out of the door

Since he was working with a group now facing enemies that were like wild, slow animals, he made sure he won't be blindsided from either direction from the doorway, the rifle being the last weapon he could depend on should he lose it, and seeing how most went up against zombies, absolutely not confident he could do good while so hungry

Ash watched the scene roll out, watching the large rat escape the building then saw the Marine walking out. She leant against the old, dust-caked walls and let out a small sigh, looking at her gloves then her knife, of which she had pulled out to take a look at. It seemed almost normal nowadays that the apocalypse had been around, and that the possibility of no one surviving it was higher than most. Majority of the population had been infected or killed anyway. Her morale was low and diminishing as time went on. Her eyes scanned the sharp blade, dull on some edges, a small exhale coming out of her mouth. She wished the world was the way it used to be, or, somewhat closer to that anyway. Her pale fingertips traced the intricate and detailed designs on the handle of her knife, closing her eyes after a moment, completely ignoring the chatter amidst the group of survivors.

She gasped. She hadn't thought of that. "Ear muffs? You think?" Cindy looked at Nathan with a smile, then narrowed her eyes light-heartedly. "Don't tease." The blonde then looked back at the Marine, a confident nod of her head, "It's definitely socks."

It was not ear muffs. And it was not socks. Much to Cindy's horror. A shrill noise fell right out of her mouth seeing the rat, scuttling away with lots of incoherent 'Put it back' and 'oh my god its alive' and a rare 'kill it' falling out of her mouth in her panic. Once the beast had been thrown outside, Cindy was able to calm down and relax again. Yet not for long.

Sounds. From outside. Movement over rubble followed by speaking. Cindy's expression fell and the blonde went eerily quiet. She nervously began to wring her clammy hands watching poncho guy and the marine go to scope it out. "What about dinner?" She asked in soft protest, yet supposed whatever was happening couldn't wait. She stepped near the window, watching quietly. "I can do that." She grumbled defensively, as if insulted she wasn't asked to go help either. Not like she'd be able to do much, nor did she make a move to go outside with them. Those two could sort it out. Cindy quickly pulled her attention away at the sight of marine plunging the bayonet into an undead. The girl was not someone to stomach blood and gore well.

"Ya like meatball?" Cindy's intrusive voice suddenly asked, having now slid over and stood right next to Ash. She looked at the girl expectantly. Cindy had her bottle of hand sanitizer held out again, silent encouragement or peer pressure for the girl to accept some. Ash was inspecting her knife, yet the blonde was too stupid to take it as a sign of not wanting to talk. "Or are you more of a Spaghetti fan? My mom could whip up a great spaghetti." She rolled back and forth on the heels of her shoes, quite content rambling along dumbly, "Especially on a budget. You cook much? Before all of this, I mean. Though you probably did a lot before this, right? Did you work? Boyfriend? I had a boyfriend, though he dumped me once he decided he liked brunettes. Kinda sucked."

"You hungry? Marine man said there's socks in the dressers, you could help me go through the clothes after we eat. Is that immoral? Stealing? They'd understand, right? I just really need a jacket." She glanced nervously to the hallway, before nodding as she made up her mind. "We should leave them a note, in case they come back. I agree." She went quiet for a while, curling a strand of blonde hair around a finger in ditzy slow thinking, now blurting out the next question that came to mind. "You guys ever been to prison? Or arrested?" Just casual socialisation things. She was filling in the silence till the rest came back in and they could all eat. Minus poncho guy, who had already started before he was called into action.

She narrowed her eyes and frowned, her body tensing a little as she mumbled. "Before this I was planning on getting a job as a detective, but the outbreak took place before I could finish my course." she huffed, letting out an exhale as the blonde girl rambled on for more than a few minutes, spinning the knife with her index and middle finger, closing her eyes. "The people that were here have either evacuated or died, so I don't think they'd care much." she said sarcastically. "And if there's not a jacket you could just take mine I guess." she said calmly. "The cold never really bothered me." she muttered. Her chest felt a little heavy from the peer pressure and took a small amount of sanitiser, rubbing it into her hands after taking her gloves off, scanning the blondie briefly. "Why are you so insistent on talking to me after I've been a.. well.. jerk to everyone..?" she looked up at her, a remanence of guilt in her tone.

The dark-haired girl would've, and probably should've, confessed that she was sorry for being rude to everyone, but she didn't feel like it was the right time, at all. Two were outside, scouting out a noise and dealing with any infected, the rest that were in the building were hungry, unsociable or just engaged in conversation. She put herself under the unsociable section, despite being in conversation with the blonde. She'd figured that even if she didn't speak, Cindy would've still hung around her and her mouth would've continued running off about god knows what. Ash's head shook faintly for a moment as she glanced around the building, her eyes being adjusted to the dark of the corner she was in, inhaling the cool air, used to the smell of rotting flesh and blood as the apocalypse, despite being recent, felt like it had been going on for a full eternity.

Logan approached the tank wearily. "Don't worry friend, Come out 'ere. I ain't gonna hurt ya, Less ye fire first." The Marine wipes the bloody Bayonet onto his pants leg and slides it into his belt. "I see ya a fellow soldier, Hm?"
He approached the man slowly but also at a very quick pace. "Might wanna get Inside, It's getting dark and all. And you can't fire unless you know where your enemy is. Just lower that gun and we can hurry back before the frost sets in. Say-" The Marine was Interrupted when a sneaky walker grabbed his shoulder and almost bit into his neck, But missed due to the quick reflexes of the Marine. He grabbed the walker's rotting arm twisted it, Then threw the walker over his shoulder and headfirst into the rubble, But the force didn't kill it. The Marine kneeled on the walker's chest and began to punch at the walker's face throwing a bit of blood here and there. He pulled his fist back and ended the Walker's pitiful life with a decently powerful blast to the skull, Caving it in.
Logan stood up breathing heavily as he turned back to face the man or the man who had most likely served as a soldier. "Sorry Paul, But you threw the first punch. C'mon soldier, Can't keep the others waitin' on dinner, Can we?"

After hearing one of the survivors' voice, Shard definitely heard the sounds of a fight inside. It looks like several infected have made their way inside. The guy's guess was confirmed when he heard shuffling steps behind him. Turning around, Shard saw three bodies walking in his direction. It would be stupid to shoot in such a situation, since the shot would only attract more guests, so the ex-PMC operator took out a knife and, one by one, killed all three, delivering pinpoint strikes to the temple area in order to kill them faster. He may wasn't so good in melee, but good enough to kill slow walking corpses.
After finishing with all them, Shard turned around and saw that the same Marine came out from behind the tank, referring to Shard as "soldier", which was not far from true. He wanted to invite the Shard to go inside with him, but an Infected who appeared literally out of nowhere grabbed the military man by the shoulder, interrupting their dialogue. Marine, however, was a tough one, and managed to react in time, eliminating the threat with brute force. "From when they became so sneaky?" Shard thought, after what he looked around and made sure that there's no more Infected around. Giving a silent nod to Ankle Boot's words, Shard followed him inside, changing his knife to the M590 that was hanging on a belt.
When finally got inside the building, Shard was able to take a closer look at all the members of the group. They all looked like typical civilians, except the cold weapons that everyone were carrying (one of them was even a happy owner of a firearm), as well as somewhat shabby clothes. Without it, it’ll be difficult to say that there’s a chaos and stuff all around. Looked like they were ready for dinner. Shard itself also was hungry because of being on-feet all day, but didn't show it.
"Thanks… for not shooting me down. Nickname is Shard." The soldier said, holding out his right hand to shake Marine’s hand. Despite the fact that these people haven't yet shown aggression towards Shard, he did not let go of the shotgun, still didn't trust the strangers completely. It’ll take some time for him.

Cindy was a peach. Her naivety was something Nathan missed from every day life. "Don't tease," Her comment felt like it should've been followed by her tongue jutting out from between her lips. It didn't so when she turned he decided to stick his tongue out instead. Once he pulled the muscle back in, he found a comfortable, soft smile resting on his face. He wished things hadn't changed. His smile turned hollow before disappearing completely. He blinked in surprise as Logan revealed a live, shrieking rat from behind his back. The poor blonde screeched, much like the rat, and began crying for the marine to take it away. Nathan watched as Logan took the rodent to the back door and released it into the dying light. Watching him reminded Nathan of those boys who used to pick worms out of the dirt and wave them in girls' faces just to see them cry. Nathan considered commenting on his surprise that the marine would let a meal get away so easily, but this was thankfully halted by the sound of someone rustling outside.
To no one's surprise, Logan jumped to it, rushing outside to confront the sound. Greg was forced into tagging along, and looked- well for a lack of better words- pissed. Nathan thought about telling him to tap out, that he would watch Logan's back while Greg ate. But he didn't know the first thing about guns, and he doubted that simply shouting, "look out" was enough in terms of a warning. Instead he turned his attention back to Cindy, but was surprised- though he really shouldn't have been- when he found her jabbering away to Ash. Well she was certainly a social one. Maybe idiocy made interacting with egotistical people easier. Ignorance is bliss and all that stuff.
Within a few minutes the marine came back with a new stranger in tow, and lovely, he was also touting a number of fancy guns as well. The stranger spoke with a thick accent, calling himself Shard. Nathan gave a simple acknowledging nod. Maybe he ought to take a page out of Cindy's thin book of plays. He wasn't going to bother complaining or fighting. All it seemed to do was single him out.

"Probably shouldn't take that long killing the thing" Greg mentions to Logan once he made it back in, still slightly peeved but more hungry than anything else as he made sure there weren't any more lurking about, already nervous when that single one just appeared right next to the soldier and bypassing his overwatch

Perhaps it was his hunger that made him miss such an obvious target, and allowed it to just walk right up behind, hand on shoulder like a buddy before the attempted bite? Either way, if he missed this, there's no telling what he might be made to miss next if he was hungry

"... can't afford to lose a fighter, not when the group's getting bigger by the second"

Logan looks up to Greg and opens his mouth to speak. "Some of those damned things are like snakes under fresh autumn leaves." The Marine unclipped his canteen from off his backpack and unscrewed the lip and took a sip. "Yeah, You're right about that." He then screws the cap back on and clips it right back into the spot on his belt.
"Y'all should get eatin' now. Don't wanna starve, Do you?" He said as he pushed a well-worn recliner towards the door, To keep those zombies out. "Hell, Some of those things are even uglier than the devil himself for christ's sake. I hate 'em, I fucking hate the things." He slides his pistol back into his holster and picks up his M27 IAR and screws the bayonet back onto it.

"A detective course?" Cindy was in awe. "I was a receptionist. Boss had anger issues. Threw chairs a lot." She shrugged, unbothered by it. Not much good it would do now fussing about him. "But he was going to let me plan great holiday parties for the company. The whole shebang. I was thinking streamers, cake maybe if we did extra good. Gosh.." She zoned out, "A lemon cake would be great right now." Cindy missed sweets, before all this she could just run off to a café for a little bite. Now instead things wanted to bite her.

The blonde scolded Ash as she tried to offer her jacket. "Don't be silly! You will get cold," Cindy gently pat the side of her arm, encouraging to keep it on. "I will find one for me." But she patted it for quite an uncomfortable amount of time, like a cat. She eventually whispered, "Is this a polyester blend?"

The female questioned why Cindy was insistent on speaking with her, and she tilted her head confused. But Cindy only smiled. A very empty-brain smile.

"If you wanted to be alone, you wouldn't still be here with us." She didn't think Ash had been a jerk, Cindy had a younger brother, she was far too patient. "Plus, all this testosterone?" Her voice had lowered to a whisper, "Yikes." She was thankful there was another girl in the group for her to ramble on to.

Cindy giggled and hooked an arm through Ash's, "Come, come." Trying to pull the female near the table. "You can pick what one you want first. The soup looked a little suspicious. Maybe you'd like the Spaghetti? I did get Spaghetti energy from you." Spaghetti energy, whatever that was meant to mean.

Before she could round everyone else for dinner, the blonde looked up, towards a newcomer in the group. He shared his name. Accent.

"Shard?" She found that unique. "Nickname for.. Shane, maybe? No, no wait.. Shawn. Spencer. Sam for sure." There was not an ounce of caution from Cindy. Despite the fact they had clear experience in handling weaponry. Guy was holding a shotgun. Though to be fair Cindy was holding Ash. A weapon of her own. A fair fight. Probably.

"No cussing." Cindy's voice pointed at the marine, instinctive scold from the blonde. "Now come sit, everyone. Hurry those legs." She tried to gather them all towards the table, like herding sheep. Hungry sheep that had weapons. "You too, Sam- Shard." Cindy quickly corrected, "We got Tortellini."

"We go... right, yeah, we do" Greg was about to start questioning the girl on the supposed Tortellini, but chokes on the thought before he could finish, realizing he should probably just let the girl have her thing, probably the only few things that she must be holding onto, the resemblance of civilization before it went down.

He goes to sit in the safest corner he could see, far away from any openings compared to the others, and preferably behind something so he can hide behind if things get hot with this newcomer

The Marine looked up at the cheery girl after screwing his Bayonet back onto his M27 IAR. "Hey, Okay, Okay..." He said as she scolded him. There was something that was familiar that he couldn't just point out in plain daylight. Looking back down as she called everyone to the table. "No thanks, I've done had some food. Grilled Snake, to be exact." He spoke as he looked up with a bright smile.
Now, Back to the blondie's scold, It reminded him of somebody that was once close to him...his Mother. She once was a strict woman, She made Logan pray before eating, Show manners, and taught him valuable lessons that came of use later on in life. Now here he was, Keeping the last bit of Humanity inside his heart.
The Marine stood up and placed down his rifle, then unholstered his pistol. He placed his vest onto the floor beside his backpack and walked towards the table, before taking a seat. "You know what, I'll eat," He said as he pulled his helmet off and tossed it back where his stuff was. "No weapons at the table. Have some manners kids."
He brung his gloved hands together and whispered these words, "Come, Lord Jesus, be our Guest, and let these gifts to us be blessed. Amen."
The Marine grabbed his MRE and opened it, Placing its' contents on the table in front of himself.

"You won't guess my name anyway, so don't try it."
After the words of the blonde, to whom Shard already managed to give the nickname "Sweethead", based on her hair color and pretty voice, everyone began to sit down at the table. Anke Boot even left his weapon and armor aside, remaining unarmed. Shard, however, did not share such carelessness with him. No, he didn't sit down to eat with a shotgun in one hand and a fork in the other. However, the vest, helmet and balaclava were remained, the gun was detached from belt and now was resting near the chair, and the pistol was still in holster.
Despite the fact that Sweethead offered the whole company to eat the so-called tortellini, or whatever she cooked, Marine opened his MRE. Looked like he was going to eat the food from it. Shard also had several MREs in his backpack, but decided to try the food offered by the blonde. Even if it won't be good (and it better be good) - he'll just follow Marine's example.

Nathan watched as Cindy corralled the members of their makeshift group into a shape reminiscent of a circle. "I did get spaghetti energy from you." Nathan had managed to catch the last portion of Cindy's statement to Ash. He let out a soft snort. What did someone have to do to give off 'spaghetti energy'? He imagined people on mopeds, long wire mustaches, people who liked giving chef kisses non-ironically- these were the kind of people he imagined with spaghetti energy. Ash didn't seem like any of them. Though maybe she was the type to ride a moped, Nathan had no idea. He carefully took a seat at the worn wooden table. It was scuffed with years of use, family dinners and house parties, he imagined. He looked to the two open seats beside him. He had his hopes on who would sit next to him, or rather those he hoped wouldn't. There was no way of knowing though. Nathan gazed coolly around at each person. To be honest, he wasn't sure if he had a single ally here. He wouldn't have been surprised if they accepted this new guy more readily than himself. He let out an audible sigh before resting his elbows on the table and his chin in the palm of his hands. He planned on grabbing whatever ration pack was left once everyone else had grabbed theirs, or maybe Cindy would've gotten a reading on his energy and select for him.

Ash didn't go to pick anything up, not really trusting anyone. She had let out a sigh and looked down at her hands then her hoodie pockets, closing her eyes to rest them as she sat in the corner in the darkness. "How long do you suppose these doors will hold if the dead were to find us?" she had opened one eye barely to look at the soldier.

The remark of having 'spaghetti energy' was completely ignored by the skinny, pale girl. Her short hair was covering her eyes after she had shifted her hoodie down. "I'm not hungry." she had murmured. "I can wait, save your rations for someone else." a small smile appeared on her light, yet somewhat soft looking lips.
