Hello friends! Monroe here! I have a few plots I need partners for! Just post here or shoot me a PM if interested!
My requirements:
-Please don't join the RP, and then drop it right in the middle. It bugs me when people only post once, or post a few times and then just leave.
-Please be advanced. At least four paragraphs per post with good spelling, grammar, and detail. I can make exceptions at times. This is a big thing for me. I get annoyed when people can't do this. I don't mind a few screw ups, but if you 'typ LIek diss' and don't use decent capitalization and punctuation, or use long run on sentences I'll most likely drop the thread or ignore the request to RP with me. Everyone makes mistakes, and I understand that, but if you can't mange basic grammar then please don't ask to RP with me. If you can't think of what to reply with, PM me and I can add a bit more. I would prefer you to match my length.
-Be active PLEASE. I'm online most every day. I haven't Rped on a while due to real life issues, and I understand you might need to drop. If you do please PM me first.
My character would be a trans woman for both of these. I don't care about the gender of any of your characters.
Plot 1: (Romance/Family) Santa’s Helper (My role: Muse B)
Muse A, a single parent has put it off for as long as they possibly could. Every day, after school their child has beggedMuse A to take them to the mall to see Santa and every day, Muse A has said they’ll think about it. This afternoon,Muse A’s little one has made a list as long as their arm of all the reasons they would make the Nice list this year and therefore should be able to see Santa. Touched by their kid’s resolve,Muse A finally caves and brings their deserving child to the crowded shopping center for a meet and greet with Mr. Claus. Overwhelmed by the shiny, over-sized decorations everywhere, the twinkling lights, and the thick crowd of shoppers surrounding them, Muse A and their kid get separated. Muse A panics when calling their child’s name yields no response, and goes in search of mall security for help, but there’s no sign of a security guard anywhere.
Muse B is working at “Santa’s workshop”, snapping photos of kids sitting on Santa’s lap, handing out candy canes and generally spreading holiday cheer to all who pass. A crying child wandering around by the entrance gate catches Muse B’s eye. Muse B steps away from their duties to help and they’re able to get the parent’s name from the kid so that they can make an announcement over the mall speakers. Hearing that their child is safe, a very relieved Muse A runs to Santa’s workshop to reunite with their loved one. Muse A and Muse B meet and Muse A can’t think of a way to thank Muse B enough. Muse B simply requests that Muse A (and their little one) have dinner with them sometime, Muse A happily agrees.
Plot 2 (Family/Drama): The Truth is Relative (My role: Muse B)
After Muse A (age 12-14) suffers the tragic loss of their parents (who maybe didn't treat them too well), they are sent to live with their next of kin, Muse B. Muse A only has fragments of memories of Muse B from childhood, but legally, Muse B is named their legal guardian. It’s a huge adjustment for a grieving Muse A who is forced to leave behind life in a big city, to move to a town with Muse B, whom they barely remember. Muse Bcertainly isn’t prepared to raise a child/teenager either and must learn pretty quickly how to be a good role model for Muse A. Muse A and Muse B get along as well as possible, considering the circumstances, that is until Muse Agoes exploring their new home and discovers a box of letters addressed to them from Muse B–letters that they never received–letters that contain the truth.
Despite everything Muse A’s been raised to believe, Muse B is their biological parent. Suddenly Muse A has a ton of unanswered questions. Why did Muse B give them up? Why has this secret been kept from them for so long? Do they want to give Muse B a chance to make things right?
