XANDERREN imo they have similar personalities, so I could see Edmund and Melissa as either friends or they don't like each other.

Oh yea I suppose I should get on the relationship navigating train before this starts! Aviator , I think Gail would've absolutely visited the Menagerie at some point, maybe more than once! Being a big part of the Uphill region, that would be a big shining point on his map of places to hit for his work of writing papers. He might've run into miss Reina at some point, depending on how easy it could be for someone to see her right after the show? I think the only reason he would've sought her out would be specifically for the papers, or otherwise he'd be too nervous to do that lmao! I could also see Reina and Constance kinda bein' besties as well! If you wanna go that route, I'd see their friendship taking on the "learning from one another" type of relationship! Constance is a go with the flow girly, although absolutely has a problem with obsession with people she's close to. Maybe Constance could kinda teach Reina how to be more relaxed while Reina shows her how to have more of a balance of hard work in her life?

I've already planned out for Gail to have a crush on Honeybee, though that admiration and attraction would definitely be from afar for the most part, unless XANDERREN you want them to somehow have some kind of relationship in terms of them knowing each other? It's not unlikely Gail would've seen a show or two (Or more, because of Honey lol!) and perhaps they ran into each other during one of his many visits somehow? I think for the other circus workers Gail could've seen them in passing absolutely! I think Constance would do her best to stay away from Honey, although it would probably be more of a gut reaction. Constance is super intuitive and would probably kinda sense that devious side of her, though they both are circus performers so it'd be kinda hard to completely miss each other every time lol.

Ashy_OCdesigns I don't think Gail would know Edmund necessarily (He might've went to talk to the owner or a manager once for his research, but definitely wouldn't stay long because of the vibe of the casino), but if you're up for plotting with my girly Constance, I could see that! She's a wanderer and will kinda just go wherever her feet take her. Depending on how they interact with one another, she'd probably develop a crush on him if he's nice to her (It doesn't take much for the girl ) . Plus they're both Jynx workers and could absolutely bond over that if they somehow got on the topic of conversation?

Oh for sure!! Constance has absolutely no intention of getting with someone (unless they make the first move), but she definitely develops crushes easily and will obsess over her crushes until it passes or just suffer in silence lmao! And sounds good!! I haven’t decided how sensitive she’ll be, i think she’ll be kind of an oddball in the sense that if someone WERE being mean to her she’d take it as a joke, cruel or not. If she doesn’t understand it, she isn’t one to continue the banter but will most likely just be like “haha okay ” and continue on lmao. We can definitely just explore it IC and see what happens

NamiBami The thing I have goin' on for Melissa right now is that she recognizes regulars, which is one of the reasons a lot of the audience likes her a lot. (since yk, if your favorite performer recognizes your face bec of how much you go to watch her then that kind of arouses some type of 'parasocial' relationship since people would think Melissa cares about them in some way.) If Gail appeared to her show a few times I think she'd recognize him, and if they were to bump into each other she'd comment that she's seen him somewhere in the audience in some of her recent shows. Plus, I think Honey would put in the effort to make (meaningless? unless she finds out he's more interesting than she initially thought) small talk if they were to bump into each other solely because she thinks he's cute.

For Constance yeah, definitely, Honey for sure knows that Constance 'doesn't' like her or is somewhat avoidant of her. And she won't push it since she doesn't want to stir up any drama or unwanted attention, but if they do see each other or pass by each other Honey would definitely wave at her or something, no ill will or anything but to probably see how she'd react most of the time. Like checking in if the girl still doesn't like her, but Melissa's pretty used to having people that don't necessarily like her. Though they do have a common interest for books iirc !! I wonder what would happen if they happen to have read the same one.

AH YEAH TRUE !! I think they'd be good friends, like whenever Melissa would visit the casino (not often, she doesn't gamble, likely just there for the ambiance or to see someone there, and maybe a drink?) she'd probably enjoy talking to him. Plus, she'd play along with his jokes. She'd also probably like that he's a bit of a free-spirit, and would probably ask him if he could brew her a drink or two.

NamiBami , Most definitely! Violet is the type to stay further away from social interactions as much as possible, if she could help it - however, since Constance works in the same area, she would be inclined to be civil and offer even a nod to acknowledge her at first! She's cautious, but not entirely abrasive to a familiar face around the circus, I think at some point, with enough proximity and a bit of time of acknowledging Constance, they could share a few conversations.

Ahh awesome! I can't wait to get to know yall's characters better I'm excited!! Just lmk what you think Constance would know about Violet, if anything, and I can absolutely work with it! Depending on what she would've shared (Again, if anything lol!) Constance would absolutely open up about some things as well, especially if they've shared a ton of passing greetings to each other! Idk if any of ya'll might be interested in Constance having had some dreams about any of them in the past, good or bad, but if you are I can work with that as well!

NamiBami Sorry for the delayed response! Just tryna keep you in suspense lol. Anyway, I think Reina would see Gail as a very sheltered young person with minimal experience of anything outside Gomorrah, or perhaps just the Uphill. She might take a vicious pleasure in introducing him to alcohol or gambling in the Downhill and then act like a mom when he gets too drunk and carried away playing games. However, she would also respect his studious nature and dedication to academics amid all of the untoward temptations of Gomorrah. Since Reina is avidly dedicated to science and the environment, she might solicit Gail to publish something about the natural world, because all of her life she's been told that she's not cut out for a scientific career. But I can defo see them bonding over these interests. As for Constance, I think Reina will have mixed feelings about her that gradually improve over time. Reina is very skeptical of anything occult or a pseudo-science, which she considers fortune-telling. The idea of the future not being in her control unsettles her, and she thinks it's immoral to make money off of scamming people with false prophecies. So she might at first be a little judgy and bitchy toward Constance, but upon seeing that there's evidence for Constance's jynx-work and she's not just a quack like some other fortune-tellers, Reina will probably feel apologetic for all these harsh criticisms. Upon learning that Constance likes sweets, Reina will probably bake cookies or cupcakes for her. I can see some empathy forming from Constance not having been born in Gomorrah, just as Reina wasn't, and feeling like they were rejected by the outside world.

Yes I was very suspended!! and omg I love that sm that’s so funny that you mention the way Reina acts towards fortune workers in particular because I was writing out relationships and wrote Gail the exact same way haha! He obviously believes in jynx workers but with fortune telling he’s extremely skeptical, especially since there are those out there who portray themselves as fortune tellers and their “powers” are actually just bs lol. I love this sm I can’t wait to see the shenanigans Reina gets herself and Gail into drunk Gail is going to be a writing experience fs lol

Ouu hmm... Well I've definitely already imagined Gail with a British accent, but I feel like everything he says is just slightly strained, like he's clearly overthinking how to word things and what to say at the appropriate times. His voice isn't super low, but definitely warm and soft. He's always got that "inside voice", even when he's stressed or angry.

With Constance, her voice is definitely light and airy. Kinda like Luna from Harry Potter, but probably not that high pitched. I'd say she speaks in a subtle transatlantic accent because her parents were extremely disciplined in "perfection" and viewed it as a classy accent, and she's been trying to lose the habit but still pronounces some words as how she's been taught.

Edmund has a breathy drawl, in a vocal range somewhere between tenor and baritone. Also, Edmund's accent is reflective of who he's talking to, but more subtle/less noticable accent because he never lived in one place for too long and the patrons also have different accents.

I'm thinking that the Gomorrah caravans would have just arrived in a new city, maybe an Up-Mountain one in which they've just received lawful permission to perform? And maybe it's like business as usual in the carnival until some Up-Mountainers make a disturbance and riot on account of the abundant "sinning" throughout the show, namely jynx-work. What do you guys think?

Hey y’all, just got back on from a busy weekend! I see we have an amazing new character with us!! Nerdy. would you like to discuss relationships between my characters and Renee? I just got through the CS, I love her and I’m so excited to meet her IC!

Also, starting out with a riot would be SO COOL! We’d get pretty much every character there too with it being uphill and all, which will be so chaotic hehe Unfortunately I’m not looking quite yet for another rp, I wanna get a feel for this one and keep up with my 1x1 I’m sorry I really hope your RP goes well tho lovely, a Stranger Things plot sounds really fun!!
