  George's childhood was what can only be defined as 'normal'. Both of his parents were happily married and his working-class family had a roof over their heads. His father, Joseph, was a firefighter and often considered a hero throughout the community. George's parents were devout Catholics and so the family would attend church every Sunday, at the very least, and he grew up believing in God. The Sandersons were a popular family and they appreciated everything they had in life; their health and stable income.
  
  When the war began, Joseph volunteered to be stationed in Northern England, so he could assist with the understaffed and stretched emergency services. As the man of the house, George was left to look after his family whilst also maintaining his excellent grades in school. He didn't have his father's strength or heroic nature, but that didn't mean he was unable to step up and look after his family. He finished school at 16 and immediately found work as a trainee insurance salesman. With a good head for numbers, his charisma and his high intelligence, it wasn't long before George climbed the career ladder.
  
  By 19, George was a successful insurance broker for a company which provided services to businesses and to wealthier private customers. It was during this time that he saw potential to make himself a lot of money, through fraud and identity theft. He wasn't struggling financially and neither was his family, he simply saw an opportunity and decided to indulge himself so he could see how it felt to live like his rich clients did. Over the next couple of years, George managed to con people out of money and defraud businesses of large sums, including his own employer. It became something of an addiction. Not only did he enjoy buying new things for himself, but he took great satisfaction in treating his loved ones and watching their faces light up when he did.
  
  One thing that remained missing in his life was love. Real love. He'd been seeing a young woman named Emily since he was 20 and after a year, his parents had pestered him enough that he proposed to the young woman. George was never sure of how he felt for Emily. He cared greatly for her and considered her to be his best friend, but there was always something missing. People told him that would all change on their wedding night when they would finally share a bed together, but George never got to find out. A couple of months before the wedding, when he was 22, George's crimes were finally brought to light.
  
  Without him knowing, the police and his employer had been watching him for months and building up enough evidence to convict him. George returned home one day to find the police waiting for him, along with his parents and fiancee. Rather than admit to his crimes and allow the police to arrest him, George fled the scene. He didn't get very far before being apprehended. Being reckless and cocky, George refused to admit to his crimes and even gave a not guilty plea in court. During his trial, he took no responsibility for his crimes and merely stood by his beliefs that nobody suffered. He believed the big companies continued to profit and he caused them very little harm through his actions. By the time he was handed a ten-year prison sentence, George's father had furiously disowned him and forced his mother to do the same. Emily had called off the engagement and her family wanted nothing more to do with the Sandersons. The biggest regret George had was that he wouldn't be able to see his family and that he'd destroyed their reputation within the community and church.
  
  George's first few months in prison where the worst. He was seen as easy prey and regularly bullied. It wasn't until he was able to offer something to the prisoners that he began to make allies. He set himself up as a bookie, taking bets and arranging secret card games. Over time, he gained the trust as the prison guards and was seen as a low risk, non-violent prisoner. He was given jobs around the kitchen, library and workshop. This all worked in his favour as it allowed him more movement around the prison and the ability to smuggle items in and around the place. It was a few years into his sentence that he finally found closure on his failed relationship with Emily. To his shock and surprise, he fell for one of his cellmates, Richard Foster, and the two men developed a romantic relationship in secret. They were together for a year until Richard was released from prison. George never saw the man again, but received a call from Richard a few weeks later telling him their relationship was over and he'd never had any intention of continuing it outside of jail. This broke George's heart, but he soon bounced back from it and took it as a learning experience which he could only grow stronger from.

  Darius Rogers was born in Waterford, Ireland, 1937. He was one of five kids, having three sisters and one brother. While the neighborhood they were raised in was below the poverty line, the family remained strong and helpful to their community. His father worked on the railroads while his mother stayed home to take care of the family. Darius was eight years old when his father was killed in a work-related accident. After his death, the family relocated to the lower-class district of Dublin. There, Darius and his siblings attended an all African-Irish school. The temptation was high, but Darius distracted himself from crime with the help of sports and school clubs for as long as he could. His brother, however, joined the Dublin Rough Ryders shortly after they arrived.
  
  With the influence of his brother, Darius had got involved in the local gang activity at the age of 13. The Dublin Rough Ryders were infamous for tagging shops, assaulting pedestrians, and even armed robbery. The social status of Dublin shifted drastically with the presence of the Porters, creating a hierarchy among gangs. The Dublin Rough Ryders soon disbanded into several different crews. The original group formed into the Ferguson Crew, led by Darius' brother's good friend, Djibril Ferguson.
  
  Most of the gangs in Dublin had kept to themselves, outside of The Porter's territory. The Ferguson Crew, however, remained aggressive and attacked shops, despite them being under the mob's protection. The Porters saw the crew as just a bunch of delinquents, but still, a nuisance. They had begun assigning soldiers to neighborhoods and upping protection on shops. Even with added defenses, the Ferguson Crew continued to rob stores within The Porter empire. Three of the crew members were killed by Porters in a shootout at a store, including Darius' brother.
  
  After his brother's passing, Darius became more involved in the crew. While they had grown weary of The Porter's since the shooting, they went further underground to conduct crime within the territory. After multiple run-ins with law enforcement, Darius was finally caught and sentenced, with a chance of parole after three years served.

  History:
  Oliver was born in the heart of Dublin in 1928 to a only mother, making him a bastard. His sister shortly followed him, making up the small Morgan family. Growing up quick and resourceful, due to being a small and skinny child, he learned the best way to win a fight was to talk it out or outmaneuver the other party. Teaching his sister the same ways, seeing as he was never the brawniest, the two became well known intellects.
  But with that, their mother shortly remarried when he was 8, Allison 4, and this man helped restore their family. Their stepfather was a lawyer, later in life he discovered he worked for one of Ireland’s largest work force organizations, but the sudden cash flow into the family helped tremendously. Even so, that when Oliver was 8, his parents adopted a boy named Dexter, who was twice his age. The two never quite connecting in their earlier years, due to his older brothers adopted crime life. Allison and Oliver were always closer, although their new brother was pleasant and nice enough. With the money his step-father provided, Oliver went, and graduated from college with a degree in finance and minoring in political science. It also happened to be the place he met his wife, (insert name once made).
  
  In 1940, Oliver enlisted in the Royal Marines, wanting to help his nation thrive in a new chapter in his life. His deployment to Vietnam was the same year of his son’s birth. Present for only two gore-filled years of war, noting the strategy his authorities were taking to be weak, and incompetent. Though he only fought for two years, his prowess for understanding the enemy began to spread amongst the ranks. But then it all changed.... The whole battle he still cannot properly recall to this day, the only sure thing being he was the sole survivor. His left leg tarnished by napalm bomb flames, was barely salvageable. The entire leg badly scarred and burned, and motor functions greatly limited. Giving the rank of Colonel for his valently fought battle, though knowing the reward was only for compensation.
  
  Oliver returned home the first time in 1943, mentally unable to shake the visions that haunted him from war. His wife distanced herself and his son from Oliver out of fear, unsure what her husband would possibly do. And he hated it. He hated being useless. So after two painful years, he decided he needed to find a new outlet. And he did. Finding his calling in politics, he kept the betterment of his family, as well as to be useful in mind. Oliver became a advisor for one of the UN security consul members in 1945. His knowledge of the gory war tactics, as well as political knowledge assisted the organization tremendously. But with that came a price...
  
  Oliver began to slowly detach from his family, burying himself in his work overseas rather than the home front. Once politicians knew there was no end in sight for Vietnam, they decided to send a select few of advisors home to handle matters in their home countries. Oliver was one of them. Oliver returned home to a tension-filled household with his wife and young son, to try and repair the damage he created. Starting to be more supportive for his family, however that desire for power still craved him... He needed a outlet. Joining the IWU, the organization his step-father had been apart of all those years ago, and without his wife’s knowledge, he began to assist the organization with political and financial advice. Once more he slowly slipped from his family, calling his long nights in boardrooms, where he might poison a man, business trips to his wife. It worked for awhile. But she wasn’t stupid. Catching him in the act, the two fought for almost a year, trying to find a solution. Eventually they did... Coexisting for their son’s sake, they faked every aspect of their relationship, just to evade the curious eye of the public. Until Adam’s eighteenth birthday...

  History:
  Evan grew up in a poor neighborhood in Maine, USA. His father worked in a factory and his mother was a housewife looking after both Evan and his older brother, Andrew. Growing up was difficult, with the family struggling to make ends meet. As a child, Evan enjoyed school and despite the lack of encouragement from home, he worked hard in his classes. When Evan was 11 years old, his father pulled the boy out of school and instead had him find manual work, doing odd jobs for those in town who would pay. The man believed school was for people who could afford to use their brains and the lower classes were wasting their time trying to be smart. The boy still wanted to learn, so would spend much of his free time reading, either in the library or borrowing books to take home. He was especially fond of learning new languages, so those were the books he chose to read.
  
  When he was old enough, Evan found work in the library, having befriended the staff over the years. It was there that he met Francesca, a girl his own age who was planning to attend college and university. He didn't think a girl like her would be interested in someone like him, but they seemed to click and soon fell in love. Fran's parents were relatively well off - certainly enough to pay for their daughter's education - and it took quite some time for him to eventually meet their approval. The couple eventually moved into an apartment together and in 1941 they were engaged.
  
  Only one year later, Evan had to leave to fight in the Second World War. He didn't want to, but he didn't have much choice in the matter and soon learned he was in no position to argue with his superiors. To his surprise, he was a good soldier, or at least, he was a naturally skilled killer and one who didn't dwell on it for too long. After all, they were the enemy and he was fighting for his own people, right? Evan gained the respect of his comrades and superiors, making him almost proud to have fought for his country. Those feelings were short-lived once the war ended and he returned to Maine.
  
  Evan returned to find he no longer had an apartment and Fran had apparently called off their engagement. He soon learned she had married a wealthy doctor, proving to him that his father had been right to despise the rich and disrespect the politicians. In addition to his mother passing away whilst he was away fighting, he also learned Andrew had been killed in battle. When Evan returned to his family home, all that was left of his father was a bitter old drunk.
  
  After finding the old library had closed down, Evan failed to find work elsewhere. With nothing to keep him in Maine, he decided to take what money he did have and left for Ireland. He soon found work in a steel factory and affordable rented apartment nearby. It was then that he met Gideon and after discovering their common ground, Even joined the IWU.   Aldous was born in 1921 in Wakefield, England. He served with distinction in the British Army during the Second World War, but grew to have a strong dislike of government authority following the harsh treatment that was given to him by his superior officers. After the war, his confidence in the English Empire was shattered, and he turned to the law to fulfill his higher intellectual predilections. He attended Oxford to study history and classics, and afterwards was admitted to practice law in England. For a while, he was content to practice country law and settle down with his wife, but the death of their son in a car accident strained the relationship and the marriage was ended shortly afterwards which prompted his move to London. It was during this time that he gained fame as a world-class criminal defense attorney and his services were retained briefly by Shannon Sullivan.   Jack is a true, dyed-in-the-wool believer in radical Marxism, and his ideology dominates his entire intellectual life. In more guarded moments, he will often speak of a desire for companionship and domestic pleasure, but all of these he will obscure or couch in revolutionary rhetoric.

  Jack was born in 1935 in Dublin to middle-class parents. Despite the hard times of the Depression, he always had food to eat and clothes to wear and otherwise lived in the lap of relative luxury. His life did not take a remarkable turn until he went to university to study medicine. There he fell in with radical circles who claimed to speak for the downtrodden in the name of global socialist revolution. He changed his major to poetry, pursuing his newfound passion with letters, and grew more and more involved with communist groups at the University of Dublin. This preceded his going to work for the Irish Marxist Society as a polemicist and propagandist for the cause. During this time, he fell in with lower-ranking members of the IWU following increased activity taken by the authorities against ostensibly communist groups. He clawed his way close to the top of the IWU hierarchy and remains waiting in the wings for opportunities to further the Cause.

  Kennedy is an athletic man at a rather large size, his whole posture roughly getting to one meter ninety. His shoulders are broad, creating a rather strong and dominant appearance. If you look to his hair colour, you might notice a mixture of hazel brown and dark brown and even bits of black, no signs of ageing visible yet if any detailed observation of his body is done, except the face, his face seems to tell stories. While his eyes are showing an active and concentrated brown colour to anyone establishing eye contact, his face is filled with small wrinkles around his eyes and mouth, his nose is crooked due to possible frictions or breaks in the past.
  Noticeable are his larger lips as well, which usually do not form up to a smile very often. If one would look at the hairstyle, it could be apparent that it changes, sometimes a man bun is replacing his middle long hair, sometimes it is just cut short...unkempt, clean, dirty or styled...all conditions can be represented by his hair. His beard is following the principles of the top, being sometimes non-existent, wild, a stubble or just shaved into a form. The man's usual attire is a clean suit of different variations, for example, the style he is wearing it, either without a tie or as a three-piece or two-piece, putting attention on the colour as well. Shoes should be fitting to the style, him clearly having a sense for his fashion. Usually, he has a holster either on his belt at the right side or a shoulder holster, keeping his service pistol tightly fitted in there.   Kenney Sullivan is a man of his word. A man for the family. He is not quick to provoke but if his pride or honour are assaulted, he might burst out, and his wrath is unstoppable by then. His sense of justice is corrupted as he is strongly affiliated with his family, even though he did not contact them for a longer time, he swore to return to his siblings and whoever else is in the family by then, hopefully, ready to protect them and provide money to them with the experience and status he earned. Further on he is a clear authoritative and very disciplined man, can slack off though if the situation is appropriate, yet always appears to be direct and harsh.
  
  Joy is usually not his thing, him having clearly a bit of a blowback from war and his time in the police, his emotions basically hampered, yet he can pretend to be happy or angry for most of the time if it is deemed necessary. The man appears to be rather silent and observant as well, sometimes talk active sometimes not, but his eyes are always on the move, his arm twitching once or twice a day, sometimes more frequently even.
  
  All in all the man appears to be dominant if not with family, rather rude from time to time but yet professional enough to remain calm to whoever might cross his path, respect is earned for him, except family, those deserve it due to the blood connection.

  History:
  Born in the year 1923, times were not easy for him and his family in America. Even though his family, the Sullivans, were rather dominant and established in Chicago, it was not easy to hold the ground against their rival, the Romanos. His side of the family was not as affected as the main tree, at least him and his two siblings were not involved at all, though his father and mother probably had something going in the gang business, else they could have not afforded the car they were driving... which at the end was their death trap in a horrible accident at an intersection in the middle of Chicago.
  Clearly, the children, now being parentless, had to live and go to some other part of the family, every one of them in total confusion and shock, partially looking up to their eldest brother, their eyes almost screaming out the unspoken question: "What now?". Without actually being asked, Kennedy answered his sister and brother, both small lads as he himself was just a teenager: "I swear to god, and may our parents punish me from heaven if I am not keeping this promise, that I am going to come back and take care of you two properly." With that being said, he disappeared, leaving only a long letter for his cousin Lucy and the rest of the family, especially his siblings, telling them that he will stay in touch and he is going to enlist into the army in Great Britain, as the enlistment age was sixteen, and so the man entered the army 1939, just at the right time to experience the opening of the tubes for the Second World War.
  
  A the age of eighteen, Kennedy got drafted into an active regiment, supporting the allies in D-Day and taking part in the battles in France such as the fight for Caen or Cherbourg, in which he earned his stripes, climbing up to the field promoted rank of a Corporal. Soon after France, the disaster in Market Garden happened, his regiment was busy in France though, not a paratrooper division, saving him and many thousand men from certain death. The Rhine crossing was his last active Operation, due to successful attack missions over the large and wild river, Kennedy received a promotion to Sergeant. During an assault on a German FOB(Forward Operation Base) in the West of Germany, the end of his career arrived, him and his squad getting hit by a mortar, shrapnel piercing through his left arm and torso, leaving scars on those places permanently, the wounds downing him temporarily for a very long time. Still better than what the rest of his men got, though. Six months in a hospital in the UK lead him to get an addiction to painkillers, especially morphine and heroin due to the field treatment he had received.
  
  After the healing process of his body had finished, the male quickly got drafted into a Police force of Ireland, them having dropped recruitment leaflets all over GB, which made him head for Ireland to establish law and order, especially get money. His weaponry experience and general intelligence lead him to rise up in the ranks rather fast, hitting the deck and breaking through it as he successfully absolved a course to be promoted and moved into the Investigation detachment, properly experiencing the corruption which is flowing through the system like heroin was still flowing through his arms, although he got it regulated enough to not get permanently damaged of it.
  
  After more years of work, he got restationed to Dublin, his personal wish as he had heard of his family's activities. He kept silent of his arrival firstly, not working in their direct and most controlled territories and rather keeping his distance, only taking small fishes and focussing on those who opposed his family, possibly having helped one or two of Porter gang , using his contacts in the Police to make sure they are let out of custody or not harmed by other gang members. But why did he not contact his siblings and his cousin...or his whole family again? Was it shame of leaving them and not having contacted them for about seven years? Possibly. But the most important aspect was the fact that he was a Detective and they were THE Porters, they probably did not want nor need him, but his promise to his siblings was still sticking in his memories. Those were his initial thoughts until he heard of the upcoming trouble, now he finally has decided to make his move and visit everyone, offering himself over to them as a useful ally and family member, hopefully being of greater use than the shadow he is calling his personality.

  James Ronan Porter : He seems to be the boss of the Porters now, I recall Conor being Chef after his father died, but what do I know after all that time? This man, this patron, is the person I have to ask for business, for work, for family. I just can hope that he still sees me as family. I know that he probably is busy as hell, him and his men, my colleagues talk about them, and I have no doubt that many of them don't mind the Porters basically reigning, or they just get paid or threatened to stay on the leash.
  
  Lucy Marie Porter : My cousin, I am not sure if I feel too much for her, we only talked a bit during family meetings, maybe did a road trip with the family but that is it. I am her cousin and she's mine, the missing contact did not improve that. But blood is blood...right?
  
  Detective Superintendent Donnelly: He's a correct man, tries his best to keep the town save, but the family is having him on a rope as well, else he would talk more open-minded about his opinion on how Dublin and Ireland are controlled by this single Mob. I am sure he knows my surname, and by the gazes, he is giving me, I can not say he's on good terms with me, luckily we are not working together often.
  
  My siblings: They were both my closest family members, even when our parents were still alive, God bless them, but now I am not even sure how they look like, I do not think they would recognise me, although I am certain I will recognise Finn, that blonde is always sticking in my memories...now I just have to hope for their forgiveness and play my cards right to get their trust back.   In the years approaching his imprisonment, Dale lead a wildly different life to the one he has now. Stemming from a community of Irish travellers, his family raised him to value loyalty from an early age. They had always lived on the outskirts of society, practically beyond the boundaries of Guarda control, and lived more or less by their own rules. Dale was not an especially aggressive member of the travelling community, but having never been schooled, he had spent his youth training physically to fight and defend himself. Matters were always dealt with internally, so whenever they got into altercations over territory, it paid to have strength in combat over academia.
  
  One of the most well known families in Dublin at the time were the Sullivans. Although the travellers tended not to create ties with more established members of society, the McKennas found that they shared similar ideologies with the Sullivan gang. Although they were hardly qualified to run businesses, their self-governing lifestyle and shared hatred of the Guardai gave their experiences some value. The two families built a rapport over time and Dale eventually left his travelling life behind to focus on helping the Sullivan gang gain power, acting mainly as muscle. He was married by the age of 18 to a Dublin-born woman and had a daughter that same year, which added to his reasons to stay. When the Sullivans left for Chicago, Dale and his family stayed in Dublin to help maintain the gang's position and continue their work.
  
  Dale is serving a life sentence after torturing and brutally murdering the man responsible for his wife's untimely death in 1936. Originally he had been sentenced to execution but ultimately received a reprieve on the basis that her killer was already on the wanted list for sexual assault and murder. In his 23 years in prison, Dale has adopted a significantly different lifestyle, having broken from the traveller's group mentality and become more of an individualist.

  As a young boy, Griffin always displayed a leadership role. The oldest of two sister, he had always made it his job to protect them from whatever life threw their way. Compared to his youngest sister, he is the easy going one. Griffin was always more laid back than his siblings, taking things easy and never worrying about what was going to happen next.   Being the oldest child of strict Catholic parents put a lot of pressure on Griffin as a child. Even from a small age, imagination in the home was little appreciated compared to the stories of the lord. Relief was found with his siblings, who loved to laugh and play pretend along with friends in the neighborhood and at school. As the only boy, Griffin was taught to be a man at a young age. He was very protective of his younger sisters, Bridget and Saoirse, who kept the light in his life. He was rarely ever babied or cradled by his mother or father, learning that a stiff upper lip would go a long way with them, his sisters looked after him just as much as he did them. Not fond of the home he was living in, the schools his sisters and him were going to, and the lifestyle they were living, he moved out at the age of 16. He vowed that day that he would make his sisters lives better so that they could enjoy the young years they had left. The home that Griffin had created for his sisters was one of welcoming, where he encouraged expression and imagination. Griffin turned away from the likes of religion as soon as he was free from his parents, rejecting the ideas of God and taking on more logical ideals of reason and cause and effect. He didn't shame either of his sisters for believing in God however, believing it was their choice.
  
  The store that Griffin came to own was a blessing in disguise. "Fitz Groceries" was located in the heart of Dublin, which was known for having its rough patches. With the good business the location brought, it also brought the bad. It would anger him when his store became the target of many violent crimes, stealing his goods and damaging their reputation with their customers. For years, it was rough, the money wasn't good but good enough to just make by for him and his sisters, never wanting to return home even though his parents constantly bribed him with their help. Griffin had gone to the police station multiple times a week at one point, trying to get at least one officer out to look at his story, at the chaos being caused. They never did anything. A few years had passed and that's when the Porter family took over the city. It was a blessing, but a pricey one. He payed a certain amount a month with the promise of good business. The streets were cleaned of the thugs and the peace went on. Griffin and Saoirse could manage and run the store in peace.
  
  Griffin didn't approve of the man that Saoirse started dating. Darell or something? Or was it Dylan? No matter what the punks name was, he would be dead if Griffin ever saw him again. His sister had punched the lights out of the creep but Griffin would end the man's miserable existence. He was happy when his sister were both back in the house. He knew Saoirse was hurting but he reassured her that she was strong enough on her own, that someone would come to her, the right one. He himself hadn't found anyone who really connected with him. Women swooned after him often but most didn't interest him. Looks were never something he was after in a relationship. It was the soul he looked at.
  
  Three weeks ago, the unimaginable happened to the perfect little family that blessed Griffin's existence every day. They were out having a wonderful dinner when the gunfire started. Bridget was murdered that night, in cold blood. No one noticed the screams and cries that came from Griffin as he held his dead sister in his arms, no one seemed to cared.   Saoirse's childhood was devoid of any fun and self-expression when in the presence of her strict, Catholic parents. Little Saoirse enjoyed fairy tales and fantasy play, but could only express it with her siblings and friends when her parents were elsewhere. The only time Saoirse was met with praise and enthusiasm from her parents was when she would sing in the church choir or help bake treats for the religious fairs. But for the most part, she wasn't allowed to make a mistake. If she missed a spot of dirt on the dishes, she would have to do them all again, and if she came home dirty, she would have her skin scrubbed sore. The school she attended was just as oppressive and being as outspoken as she was, Saoirse would often return home from school with red marks on the palms of her hands from the public caning by the teacher in front of the other children during assembly. Not a day went by that she didn't thank God for Griffin and Bridget. Griffin always looked after his sisters, especially their disabled sister, Bridget, who their parents had practically rejected for being different.
  
  As soon as Griffin was old enough to support them, he moved out of the family home and took both of his sisters with him. The new school in Dublin was still strict, as most were, and Saoirse still found herself in trouble, but at least her home life improved. She was able to express herself more freely and Griffin was always encouraging of her imagination. Despite being glad to escape her parents, Saoirse still held onto her religious beliefs and she enjoyed helping out at the local church, whether it was helping distribute hymn sheets at Sunday service or helping arrange the flowers for funerals. She took great joy in helping others.
  
  After finishing school, Saoirse decided she'd had enough with education and instead worked at her brother's grocery, located in the heart of Dublin. There were gangs of thugs running the streets in the early days, often stealing and damaging their business. It upset Saoirse greatly to see such violence, especially when the police never seemed to investigate. A few years later, the Porter family made themselves known, practically took over the city, and suddenly Griffin had to pay some rent to them or was it insurance? As much as she protested the idea at first, she had to admit things became more peaceful for them. It seemed nobody dared to touch their store with the mob protecting it. Besides, Saoirse helping out in the store meant Griffin didn't have to page the wages for an extra member of staff.
  
  Saoirse was 25 when she met Dylan at an Easter fair. The couple immediately hit it off and they eventually started dating. He was the first long-term boyfriend she had and she fell in love with him pretty fast. Although he had a good reputation within the community and had many friends, he wasn't quite so wholesome behind closed doors. Against her better judgement, she threw chastity out of the window and slept with Dylan many times before they even thought about becoming engaged. It was one of the first times she began to truly doubt her beliefs. As time went on, the couple would argue, with Dylan being loud but Saoirse even louder. The first time he raised his hand to her was the last and she left him almost as quickly as she could punch him. She'd been hit enough by her parents and teachers that she wasn't about to let someone else start.
  
  Saoirse was happy to be back with her brother and sister, with the three of them as close as ever. Things ran smoothly for some time. She went on dates and had some short-term relationships, but still couldn't find someone she truly connected with. She even began to lose her connection to God, feeling there was too much destruction in the world for her Him to knowingly allow. Still, she continued to attend church and show enthusiasm in volunteering there.
  
  Three weeks ago, Saoirse was out with her siblings having dinner when the restaurant they were in was filled with the sounds of gunfire. That evening, Bridget was murdered. Saoirse lost her sister and lost another piece of her faith. Having lived in the city for much of her life, she knew who Mr. Porter was and she knew it was safer not to speak of anything she had seen. They buried Bridget a week ago and Saoirse was helping out at the church when the Porters buried one of their men. She could see the burning anger and the need to vengeance in their eyes. She recognised it because it was all she could see in Griffin's eyes and in the mirror when she looked at herself. Saoirse finds it difficult to attend church now, knowing all she can think about is wanting those who killed Bridget to suffer themselves.

  Gweneth Hazel Sheehan was born on April 13th 1935 in Chicago to her mother Lila Sheehan and a man who she would never get to meet. A few months after Gwen was born, her mother decided that it was best for both herself and her baby to move back to Ireland where she then met her husband Erick who was to be Gwen's step father. The girl grew up in Ireland living the fullest life that she possibly could, wanting for nothing, her mother and her wealthy step father made sure she had everything she could possibly need, so long as she did as she was told. Gwen tried as hard as she could to be well mannered, not acting out in a way that would embarrass her stepfather in front of his business men or guests that often came over for splendid dinner parties and event that benefited the business that her stepfather ran. The man that she was forced to call "father" was a cold hearted person who never paid attention to Gwen as a person, only paying attention to her when it benefited him with her mother or when he was punishing her when she was bad. He seemingly would do anything for the woman he loved but wanted to get rid of the kid that came along with it. She would often eat dinners alone, her stepfather not wanting to be bothered by the chatty little girl who was excited to tell her mother about her day at school. Luckily, she found comfort in the help, who constantly kept her company and was willing to listen to the little girl talk about her day.
  
  When her mother could get away from her husband, she often would spend her time with Gwen. They shared similar interests, her mother had a lovely voice and Gwen loved it when they sang together before bed time.When the girl asked of her real father, her mother simply told her that he didn't want a baby and never elaborated on the subject. As she grew up, Gwen grew farther and farther apart from her mother as the woman began to put the man she loved on the highest pedestal, seeming to forget about Gwen for sometime. The young teen did everything she could to try to grasp her mothers attention, taking singing lessons, cello lessons, thriving in school...nothing could take away the glossy blank look her mother had in her eyes and as the years went by, it got worse. Gwen only wished she had been able to see what was really going on behind the perfect little image that her family had created. A few months ago, her mother had killed herself. Gwen blaming her stepfather for destroying her mother's life, knowing that he had been abusive to the woman in recent years , left him and the big fancy home that she had lived in for years. Leaving with only a few of her and her mother's most important possessions, she had saved enough money to move into a cramped little apartment that's shared with another woman at least 20 years older than her in the city and got a job at the local Jazz club owned by the Callahan's and Porters.
  
  Gwen had been going through her mother's possessions after finding that there simply wasn't enough room in her bedroom to keep everything when she found an envelope with a few handwritten notes inside. Upon reading, she determined that it was some sort of love letter from her mother to the man who was said to be her father. There was another note too, one from her father to her mother. At first, Gwen struggled to read the messy signature at the bottom of it but after getting a second opinion from her roommate, they both confirmed that the name read Ronan Porter. Gwen was well aware of the hold that the Porters had in Dublin and had heard many stories about their power both good and bad. Despite having a direct connection to the Porters by working at the Jazz club, Gwen has been debating with herself if it was safe to get tangled up in that family, her family apparently.

  Born in rural Mississippi Darlene was barely three months old when her mother decided to leave her and her father to find wealth and happiness outside of the sleepy little town. Darlene's father was a private investigator, though he always made sure to make his job sound as boring as possible so his daughter wouldn't want anything to do with that side of life. However whenever he thought Darlene was asleep he drank himself into a drunken slumber, something that Darlene was sure she was the cause of. Mostly because one night she went to check on him and he commented how much she looked like her mother, he then passed out but the slurred words always stayed with her. When she was old enough she got a job busing tables to try raise money to help her father with the bills, and when she turned 18 decided to move in with a friend out of state.
  
  Her rational was that her father could finally breathe easy with her out of the house, and she hoped it would finally let him heal from the wounds her mother caused him. After two years of being out of the house Darlene became consumed with a new desire, the desire to find her mother. That desire lasted years and led Darlene through many states and a few countries, until finally she found her mother in Ireland. The reunion was bittersweet and Darlene considered crawling home back to her father, but when she called him he told her how proud he was of her that she was being her own person and that he hoped she was happy where she was, he even promised to visit her and take in the views. After that Darlene decided to set up roots in Dublin, it was a far cry from Mississippi but Darlene hopes that Dublin can become her new home.

  Born the youngest son of the infamous IRA member Connor 'Devil' Flannagan, Aidan knew crime since he was a child. He and his brothers were accustomed to their father telling them to go commit petty crimes such as theft and shoplifting, and it wasn't long until they got roped into the IRA. You see, for centuries, it was illegal for any Irishmen to own a firearm, so the Flannagan's became legendary for their ability to aquire firearms. Their most recent and successful way was several of the boys joining the British army, using their connections to procure surplus weapons for their Da. Aidan was always the black sheep of thr family, never really wanting to fight for Ireland's freedom. He soon found out that he had a knack for breaking and entering, as well as other sneaky activities, and it wasn't long until he began taking hits for the mob. In fact, he did his first one with an old Webley from his father's arms business, though he's since upgraded. Soon enough, he was a well-trusted hitman, soon hiring himself to James Porter exclusively, who Aidan sees as the father he wished he had.

However, the mental impact from the war can sometimes be caught on his expression, giving reasons for his sudden leave of absence, which only lasts a day or two. Yet, he comes back with his usual tone and ensures to treat the Porter family with the same respect he'd want.

  History:
  Nathan Bennett was born on July 12th, 1924, to a single mother in Chicago. His father left him after he was born and his mother grew sick when he entered his teenage years, causing him to turn to small crimes for money, such as petty thefts; hoping to provide for his dying mother. Nathan was sixteen years old when she died, leaving him to fend for himself on the streets and fall further into crime. His actions quickly caught up with him after her death and he was arrested.
  
  In prison, he met James Porter and soon came to ally himself with the gangster. Though they became allies near the end of Porter's prison sentence, he learned a great deal under his guidance and a friendship blossomed between the two. James had been released from prison by the time Nathan turned eighteen years of age, causing him to fend for himself for the last few months of his sentence. When the time came for Nathan to be released, in 1942, he found no trace of James or anywhere to call home, thus he fell into joining the Armed Forces.
  
  He was deployed to fight against the Nazis in World War II, learning a great deal more from his squadron and the hardships of war itself. During this time, he became an expert marksman and aided in winning multiple battles. Although, he struggled to deal with the lack of identity, feeling like the war has changed him and took away his individuality. After managing to survive the war, he returns to Chicago in hopes to find James Porter again and find a place to call home. But the impact of war scars his mind and he is placed into rehab with hopes to overcome the PTSD. Nathan struggled to deal with the treatment in rehab, finding it impossible to settle down and return to a normal life, as if he belonged in battle. Nathan then breaks free from rehab, escaping to the furthest corners of Chicago and attempts to find his old friend James Porter, before falling into a small gang to disappear completely.
  
  This lead to him falling into a small gang working within the more isolated areas of Chicago, securing himself a job as a marksman once again and keeping himself occupied whilst searching for any leads of James. After many months, he began to give up on searching for his whereabouts and moved between small gang operations as a marksman on loan. This keeps Nathan occupied for many years, until he catches rumors of James's operations in Dublin in late 1959.
  
  Now, at thirty-four years of age, he escapes Chicago on a whim and heads straight to Dublin. Nathan holds onto hope that this would lead to a greater sense of purpose and provide a better lifestyle that petty gangs in his home time - that harshly reminds him of his past life. Once reaching the territory of the Irish Mob, he finds a vacancy for a bodyguard within the Porter business.   Richard's upbringing wasn't one of riches and luxury, but he had everything he needed and couldn't complain about his family's working class background. His father worked long hours down the mines whilst his mother often struggled to control Richard, Johaan and Jennifer, preferring to let them just play out on the street every day after school. Richard wasn't an inherently bad kid and he had started out trying to be sensible. However, having their extended family living in the same neighbourhood often meant Richard and Johaan spent a lot of time with their cousins. Vernon was the biggest trouble-causer of the youths and despite initial protests, Richard always ended up getting into trouble with the others. They often returned home to lectures from their father about their petty crimes and causing havoc for the neighbours, but their behaviour was relatively normal for any working class kid growing up in the rougher neighbourhoods.
  
  As he got older, Richard developed a love for sports and throughout high school he was able to focus on that rather than causing his teachers stress. He found himself getting in trouble less and trying to be a good influence on his siblings and cousins too. In his late teens, much of his time was spent playing for his local team and dating a girl named Cassandra. The couple fell in love very quickly, despite her being from a much wealthier background. Things moved too fast and Cassandra soon discovered she was pregnant. Her parents forced her to stop seeing Richard and she was sent away to live with her grandparents in Cork.
  
  Richard was only 18 when his father died of lung cancer, leaving the eldest sibling to help his mother out with looking after Johaan and Jennifer. Whilst he continued playing sports, Richard gave up on his desire to study further and instead found work in a nearby pub to help support the family. A couple of years later, Cassandra came back into his life, bringing their son with her. The couple rekindled their relationship and got engaged before she became pregnant again. When the pub he worked at was put up for sale, Cassandra went ahead and bought it, making the place the new home for their little family.
  
  Richard and Cassandra stayed together for three years, but never rushed to get married with her unwilling to do so until her parents would accept Richard. The man returned home one day to find his bags packed for him and Cassandra informed him she no longer wanted to be with him. He was left with no home or job, so returned to live with his mother. It was then that he found himself gravitating towards his cousins and their money-making schemes. All of the schemes were illegal and brought with them risks, but Richard felt he had very little to lose. He was only allowed to see his kids once every couple of weeks and Cassandra had wasted no time in selling the pub to go live with a wealthy lawyer, which pleased her parents to no end.
  
  Richard always wanted more out of life and to make a living doing something he enjoyed. When he learned the landlord of his favourite pub, the Archers, was selling the place, he worked with his brother and cousins tried to scrape together enough money for him to buy the business. Realising they were still short on the funds needed, Richard met with James Porter to ask for a loan from the man. The mob boss agreed to lend the money to him and Richard agreed to pay protection as well as giving a healthy share of the profits to the Porters. Whilst the loan has since been paid off, Richard is still bound by the agreement to pay for protection and share profits with the Porters. Wishing to make more money, Richard and his family have been running an underground casino as well as committing robberies and other crimes to bring in more funds.
  
  More than anything, Richard wants to be able to show his kids he's a successful man and to be able to treat them the way he'd always wanted to. With their mother and stepfather often flashing the cash around, Richard often feels like he has to compete...

  In 1943, Sofia met Angel when the man was on one of his journeys there. It didn't take long before the two were in bed together and Matteo was conceived in February 1943. Her parents were furious when they learned of her pregnancy. Although she knew who the father was, the fact she'd slept with a number of men and often under the influence of alcohol meant they believed her when she said she didn't know the father's identity. It was just shame that led to her secrecy, but knowing Angel worked for Vinnie in Chicago and she wanted Matteo to have no part in that world.
  
  By the time Matteo was three years old, Sofia had fallen back into her old ways. She spent most of her time drunk and would end up bringing home new boyfriends who rarely stuck around for very long. She would often talk her Aunt Rayna into babysitting Matteo. She remained on a destructive path for a few years until Matteo had a minor accident under her drunken watch, which seemed to knock some sense into her. Determined to make it up to her boy, she got her drinking under control and started working as a hostess in a restaurant. When Rayna was summoned to Chicago to apparently reunite with her won son, James, Sofia was responsible enough to take care of Matteo on her own.
  
  Rayna eventually returned to Sicily and with news that their Romano relatives had been slaughtered, including Vinnie himself. Sofia also learned that some weeks earlier, Angel had been gunned down by the police. The news finally prompted her to tell Rayna the identity of Matteo's father. She soon found out Angel had since father a daughter, but she felt Matteo didn't need to know about his half-sister, Savannah, never expecting him to need to meet her. In the back of her head, she was also a little jealous Angel had stuck around for more than a week with the Sullivan woman.
  
  Matteo was 12 years old when Sofia started working as a casino hostess. It wasn't long before the atmosphere drew her back into drinking and picking up rich men in the process. She wouldn't return home for days, spending her nights crashing with friends or sleeping with gentlemen. Once again, Matteo found himself in Rayna's care. The times when Sofia was home, she found her son's behaviour difficult to control and didn't know how to discipline him when he'd been in trouble at school. Instead, she would yell and argue with him a lot - making a point of comparing him to his "no good" father, whose crimes and history he'd learned enough about.

  Rayna was born to William and Madeline Caito in mid-July. Her childhood was fairly normal, being as her family was involved in the family gang business. She was the oldest of two other children.
  Rayna was a very happy child, whom everyone always loved to interact with her. Always a smile on her face and bringing grins to other people's faces.
  
  She was very studious, wanting to make her family proud and wanting to bring something to this world.
  She kept herself low-key from the family business for the majority of her life until her 18th birthday. That was when her uncle employed her as an undercover spy for the Romano business. She would go undercover and gather information from different Irish gangs.
  
  Rayna was going undercover at the local fancy bar, spying on the Sullivans when Ronan, the son of the leader suddenly asked her to dance. He had spotted her in the distance and found the young girl was quite beautiful. Quizzical, the girl hesitantly accepted. Taking her hand, he took her to the dance floor. Whilst they dance, Ronan asked her about herself. Rayna of course, couldn't tell him her real name as that time so she made up one.
  Over time, Ronan and Rayna spent times together whilst Rayna wasn't working as a spy. Eventually, she told him the truth about herself. He felt betrayed but forgave her. Then, not long after that the two began seeing each other exclusively.
  
  The two had been seeing each other for over a year when Rayna found out that she was carrying a baby.
  Though her family disproved have a child out of wedlock, they still supported her. At this point, they did not know that her lover was Irish.
  
  She took a break from undercover work for a year after she gave birth to her child James. At first sight, Rayna absolutely fell in love with the child. She was big spoiler of that child and was a bit more lenient than Ronan was when it came to discipline.
  
  When James was around two years old, the news that his father was Irish came to fruition and it turned out to be bigger than expected. This resulted in her being sent away to Italy by her Italian uncle. Rayna had no contact her family, Ronan or son since then which has ate away at her.
  
  During her time in Italy, Rayna has in fact met another man and gotten married. She had been living in Italy for about one year at that point. It took a while for her to her used to not being with Ronan. But she still loved him with everything in her.
  Rayna met her current husband met during her job at a soup kitchen. The two connected. Her husband is Australian. They married about two years after seeing each other. The two have three children together. Two sons and a daughter The oldest being 22. Middle being 18 and the youngest 11 years of age.
  
  Rayna found herself able to reconnect with her son briefly back in Chicago. But when the war between the Romano's and Sullivan's ended and her son decided to move the family to Dublin, Rayna returned back to Italy with her family, James never strayed far from her thoughts. Falling back into the routine as a housewife, taking a break from the volunteering to keep track of her own little family, Rayna found herself in a bit of a funk for a while. James, despite Rayna telling him that he could call her anytime for any reason, hadn't called...the two eldest that lived with her were beginning to become independent from her.. All she had left to take care of was her little baby girl. Matteo had always been a joy in Rayna's life, watching him long before she had been summoned to back to Chicago. It wasn't till after her family had been slaughtered at the hands of her own son when Sofia told her the identity of sweet Matteo's father. This news didn't change the way Rayna felt or treated Matteo, despite knowing well of his father's reputation.
  
  Rayna had been so proud of her niece that when she began falling back into her old ways, it broke her heart. The woman had wanted so much for her son and yet she hadn't returned home for days, leaving Matteo alone until he called Rayna. She took the boy in like he was her own, trying to fix the damage that Sofia had caused him.

  Jason worked out very early on in life what it takes to survive. The hardships he faced in his youth quickly shaped him into an independent, driven young man. He had to be bold, impulsive and calculating to pull off his tricks - even now, he exudes confidence, oftentimes coming across rather forward or even foolishly provocative.   Jason was born in Kilkenny on April 15th 1934 as the youngest of three children. Between looking after him and his two older sisters, his mother was trying to start a career as a singer, while his father made an modest living as a domestic appliances salesman. When war came, his father made the controversial decision to join the British Army and fight overseas. Left struggling for money, Jason and his sisters joined their mother on the stage, performing with a travelling theatre company. He learned to dance from a very early age, but his mother was highly critical and the pressures of performing as a family unit created a rift between him and his sisters. His Nana, on his father's side, became his main source of love and support, determined not to let his mother rob him of his childhood. After his father was killed in 1944, 10-year-old Jason was faced with a decision. His mother had ambitions for her children, and wanted to take them to America where they had a better chance of success. But Jason was loyal to his Nana, and didn't want to leave her behind. Some months later, he returned home from school one afternoon to find the front door ajar and all their possessions cleared out. His mother and sisters had left a short note, simply wishing him the best.
  
  Left with little choice, he went to live with his Nana. His mother had taken all the inheritance money from his father's death to help her to pursue her dreams and so, since his Nana was too old and frail to work, and he was too young, Jason had to get creative in order to pay the bills. He started off pick-pocketing on the streets, but by the time he reached secondary school he was swindling people out of their money in more inventive ways. He would set up false fund-raisers and scam people for their charity, sell forged autographs of popular sports players, even turn on the waterworks in front of unwary strangers, putting on an accent and pretending to be lost or stranded so they would give him money for a train home. His hustling didn't always bring in much, and there were times when he went several days without eating, but it was enough to stave off homelessness. At the age of 17, however, the rent went up and he and his Nana soon faced eviction. It was then that he decided to embark on his biggest scam yet.
  
  Jason knew of a struggling French art student called Pierre that lived in his apartment block. After forging so many identity cards for his classmates, Jason had the confidence and skill to create one for himself. After much research, plotting and practice, Jason Costello became Lars Van Voorst, descendent of a famous Dutch painter from the 1700s. He even adopted a convincing Dutch accent, which he kept up with astonishing consistency. With the help of Pierre's artistic hand, Jason auctioned an extensive collection of forged sketchbooks, early works and possessions of his alleged ancestor. Posing as Lars Van Voorst, Jason rose to fame within communities of upper-class art collectors, raking in enough money to buy his Nana a large plot of land in the countryside. Pierre, meanwhile, was growing jealous of his partner in crime - he believed, since he was able to create such convincing forgeries, that he could have made it as an artist on his own, and hated that Jason was getting all the credit. After a heated argument, Pierre quit while he was ahead, refusing to do any more work for him. Having already claimed to have more goods to auction, Jason was then left in an impossible position without Pierre's expertise, and after three successful years he was finally revealed as a fraud. At the age of 20, he was initially sentenced to 8 years in prison, but it was cut in half after he assisted the authorities in identifying his partner, who was subsequently caught and extradited to France.
  
  By the time Jason was released from prison at the age of 24, his Nana had passed away and his mother and sisters had become household names in show business. Jealous of their success and with no one to tie him down, he spent the following two years chasing various dancing and acting opportunities, moving from city to city wherever such opportunities lead him. His Nana had little to leave him in her will after his illegally-obtained assets were all confiscated, so he ended up living in poverty as soon as he was released. He went back to hustling to survive, still selling stolen goods on the black market.
