She smiled as she wandered around the room a little. She then put her arms around his waist and shrugged playfully.


"I don't know, what do you want to do?"


She looked at Benjamin with a lot of sweetness in her eyes. Perhaps their engagement would work out, and they would eventually get married, and live happily ever after together. Emilia knew it was a bit cliché, and it was probably far from reality, but a girl can dream.


At least she was now very certain, she was absolutely in love with him, and possibly even loved him already.

He chuckled.


" Well I have ideas... " he said and he started to kiss her cheeks. Caressing her back with his hands, pulling her closer. He felt her soft, warm skin touching his and he felt that interesting feeling filling him again. The nearness of Emilia comforted him, with her he felt at peace, at love, it was a feeling he never wanted to let go, He felt in heaven, and he decided to make her feel that good too. He quickly kissed her on the neck all around until he reached her other cheek, kissing it gently as well, finally sealing the deal with a kiss on the lips.


" You are wonderful Emilia. I wish this would last forever. "

A smile appeared upon her face, and happily she kissed Benjamin back.


Everytime Emilia was in his company, she felt a warmth in her stomach, a nice tingling feeling. She blushed a bit a looked deeply into his eyes.


"Perhaps it will.."


She smiled and ran her hand through his hair.


Everything felt right, as if the universe made it this way, as if it was meant to be.


She looked over to the bedside table, where the drinks and snacks were standing. "Maybe we should eat something, it would be a waist of food and the hard work of Lily if we didn't." She went over to the bed and sat down, waiting for him to join.

Ben smiled warmly at her and let her sit down on the bed. Mimicking a butler he picked up the dish full of snack and offered them to her politely, his eyes never wandering off from the beautiful sight. Emilia was truly a sight to behold, her angelic features were absolutely breathtaking, her presence reminded him of heaven itself. Sitting down beside her he started to massage her back.


" I always imagined something like this to happen. " he said " But never did I imagine myself being this lucky. I am truly blessed that I can have someone like you. "


His hands moved gently up and down, carefully touching Emilia's skin as if he was touching a fragile flower. He wanted to preserve her beauty and her innocence as long as he could - for she was purity itself.

Emilia nodded as way to thank Benjamin for the snack. She slowly took a bite and quickly the delicious flavor spread itself in her mouth.


When the young man started to massage her, she closed her eyes and enjoyed the moment. She had never felt a connection like this with anyone, expect for her own family, before and she absolutely loved it.


She blushed a little at his compliment, smiling inside.


"I'm looking forward to the banquet tomorrow, I'm certain it will be fantastic."


Everytime Ben touched her, her heart made a little jump, a smile appeared upon her face.

" Oh yes the banquet... " Ben said with a sardonic smile " It will surely be fantastic. "


He sat down beside her looking in her eyes. He wanted to tell her... but he could not and it infuriated him to no end.


" Emilia. I... " he started but paused suddenly. The memories surged forward and he remembered his initial goal. There was no reason endangering her...


He smiled again and spoke.


" I am so happy that you are here. Let's make tomorrow equally wonderful as tonight, all right? "

Emilia smiled at him as she grabbed his hands.


"I am happy to be here as well. We'll make it great."


Ben had been so good to her, it warmed her heart.


She looked down, softly stroking his hand with her thumb.

He sat down beside her, still smiling. But soon his expression turned serious as he took a deep breath.


" There is something I need to tell you. And I ask you to be extremely careful. "


He paused for a while, seeing how Emilia understood what he said he continued.


" The de Lion family will also attend to the banquet. They are one of the strongest noble family, it can not be avoided. Thus I ask you to try and avoid Lance. I will make sure that he does not interfere with anything, but we can not be careful enough. "

 

[Dropintheocean]

A serious look appeared on her face as Benjamin announced that he wanted to tell her something.


Throughout the talking Emilia nodded, but when he mentioned something about Lance, her face turned red. The memory of him was still fresh.


"But, Lance has seen me, when I was your maid. I'm sure he won't keep his mouth shut about it."


She had a concerned expression upon her face, one that wouldn't be quite easy to shake. If she would see Lance, or he would see her, the plan might be ruined. Of course they could tell everyone that Ben had fallen in love with his maid, but his father wouldn't be pleased with the truth.


"If he tells everyone, your whole plan won't work."

He nodded.


" I know the risks. " he said silently " I have gone over about this with Lily and she assured me that she would make... the proper preparations and that he would not interfere with his loud mouth. " he sighed heavily " That being said as resourceful as she is I do not know how would she handle that guy. If it comes to the worst... well we have other ways out, even if they are less sophisticated than I would like. "


He smiled at her.


" Know that no matter how it all ends, I will not allow that scoundrel to touch you, to harm you. I swear to it. "

Emilia smiled when Benjamin talked in such protective way about her. It showed that he truly cared, which warmed her heart.


"Alright, but we'll have to be extra careful around him. I don't trust him for one bit."


She bit her lip and softly let out a sigh.


"And how about your father? He won't be back home by tomorrow, right?"

 

[DawnAntalios]

Ben's expression darkened for a moment but then he smiled.


" No, I am afraid not. He usually takes his time in such affairs... you know he visits almost everyone, talks to almost all the nobles. He will be delayed for sure. "


He stood up, stretching a bit. He was uncertain what else they needed for the preparation.


" Tomorrow will be an interesting day for sure... a lot hinges upon it being successful. "


He said this rather to himself than to Emilia. He knew that tomorrow they will have the chance to make their move... no matter what stands in his way.

Emilia nodded, slightly relieved that his father wouldn't show himself yet.


"Really? I didn't realize that.."


She stood up as well and put her hands around him, leaning against his chest.


"I just hope that everything goes well tomorrow, I'm quite stressed about it." She bit her lip and sighed. His announcement made her nervous, she wasn't aware that so much depended on this banquet.

He caressed the girl and give her a kiss on her forehead.


" Do not worry, it should be all right. " he smiled " I think tomorrow I am going to show you around in the house more carefully - so that you can use escape routes in worst case scenario. "


He chuckled.


" Not like you would need one... but if you had enough from my babbling you can also hide there! "


He laughed but he was serious.

Emilia chuckled and smiled at Benjamin in a calm way


"I would love that."


And she would, definitely, but her mind trailed of to the banquet everytime. It would be the very first that she'd be around that many nobles, pretending to be born as one herself. A difficult task for the young dame.


"Shouldn't we discuss some of the questions they might ask? What if they ask us how we ment for example? I wouldn't look good if you answered something different than I did. They would get suspicious."
