"Uh...shocks? Honey, please put that down," Kayla cautions.

"Think it's related to this cube?"

"I'm not sure, sorry." She said putting it down. "Could you look at the cub while I keep looking at the arcanine robot?"

 

[JessieSune]

"Yeah," replies Cass, evaluating it cautiously. "Hey...there's a whole other robot in here!"

Kayla suddenly bolts upright with alarm. "Danielle-- are you feeling...tickly?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Really? Oh." She said joltting with her mother. "Yeah..."

 

[JessieSune]

Cass looks over. "Danielle? You're turning silver! What happened?"

Kayla is now officially frightened, and tries licking her daughter in an attempt to get the spreading color off.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"I don't know!" She said, trying to stay calm, but breathing faster than normal.

 

[JessieSune]

"Can't you stop it?" Asks Kayla, continuing to try and clean the Vulpix as her fur begins to vanish.

Cass is near, too, focusing psychic power to try and stop it, or at least figure out what's happened.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"I..I don't know.." She said, trying to will the silver sheen off of her.

 

[JessieSune]

Despite all their efforts, she's soon covered head to toe.

"Did it stop?" asks Cass breathlessly. "You don't feel anything else, do you?"

Kayla keeps a brave face. "You okay, sweetie?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Y...Yeah.I think I'm fine.." She says..looking down at herself "I'm...metal?" She asked in disbelief.

 

[JessieSune]

"Only on the outside, right?" Kayla says. "You feel the same inside?"

Cass looks at the robots with anger. "I oughta wreck those things..."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Yeah.I'm..." Her eyes flash and she stands erect. "Reformatting mind..."

 

[JessieSune]

The others look on in horror. "Danielle!" Kayla shouts. "No, no no no no! Stay with me, sweetheart -- don't let yourself go under! Please!"

Cass's eyes flash as he directs all his might into the robot's body, trying with all he has to get Danielle's consciousness out of the crossfire.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Processing...mommy? Cassy?... My head...I.I think we need to let..proceed with process.."

 

[JessieSune]

Cass starts to follow suit. "Formatting...completion..." His eyes flash and he pulls out -- he can't follow Danielle any further without being affected himself.

"My poor sweet baby," Kayla begins to weep.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Formatting complete.. assign admin and designation." The silver vulpix said

 

[JessieSune]

Kayla and Cass look at each other. "What...what does that mean?" she asks fearfully.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Please add master and purpose.." She repeats, apparently understanding their quandary.

 

[JessieSune]

"Uh...can't you be your master and decide your own purpose?" Cass asks quietly.

 

[AmethystRoze]

The robot looks distressed at this. "Please assign..."

 

[JessieSune]

"Well...um...me?" Cass says, anxiously. "You have to protect me?"

Kayla is unsure what to do and says nothing.

 

[AmethystRoze]

She looked relieved sty his answer. "Assign Cassy as admin?" She asked.

 

[JessieSune]

"Yes..." he says, still unsure he's doing this right.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Rebooting..." She said, her eyes going blank before returning. "Oh..that was weird..."

 

[JessieSune]

"What happened? You're a robot now?" Cass looks her over. "What does that mean for you? Does it mean you have to do certain things?"
