"I'm having the time of my life, my dear!" Kayla squeals with delight. "We should probably go home though, now."

"Hi, Balaa. Wow...I don't have a mouth anymore! Or a brain...or a heart...or ears...wow! I feel...so different. How do I look?"

"Yeah." Danielle said, a hint of disappointment in her voice.

"you look so pretty!" Balaa said running to her sister and nuzzling her, sparks appearing between them.

"Orrrr....we could stay up here for a while longer!" Laughs the Absol. "Sound like more fun?"

"Th-thanks," the giggling sounds oddly monotone, but the lights that have replaced Lilac's eyes are shining with excitement. "I'm still learning a lot about how I work -- but I see you put a lot of work into my redesign and...you've placed a ride chamber inside me?"

"Yeah! Though I don't want you to get to tired."

"Yeah... I thought it would be fun." she said, acting bashful, the sides of her monitors growing red.

"Rider detected. Shutting door and preparing controls." Cables link from the inside of the new robot to Balaa, synchronizing their movements, while several metallic plates reshape the robot Shaymin rider into a perfect cube only a few inches thick. At the same time, her OS loads into Lilac's CPU.

"You are now in control of my body. Ready to ride?"

This continues for about an hour until Cass begins to nod off.

Danielle starts to join Cassy. "I'm getting sleepy..."

"Then we better go home," chuckles Kayla. "Alle-oop!"

"I hope the same for you, Processor Cube #1." With that, the Arcanine bot puts Balaa's OS in charge.

Danielle falls asleep soon after they land, greeting out a few words before they do. "Mm... I love you mommy."

"You go I don't want to take control of you."

Cass behaves in a similar way, and the Absol grins.

"Love you too!"

"Understood. Taking controls."

"Goodnight..." She lost consciousness.

The Absol walks home to the shrine, the babies sleeping on her back, her smile wide.

Danielle snored cutely.

Balaa started at this. "Wait..Not permanently right?"

Upon arrival the Absol gently rests her young on two beds of twigs and looks them over.

"I know you must have hypnotized me into this dream, for no Absol could give you two life -- but I'm grateful for what I've become...and I will strive to be good at it."

There's no immediate reply. Lilac's eyes flash and a moment later change to a new color. "Lilaa_OS_Fusion.exe loaded into memory. Hardware fusion successful."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Woah...we're..the same now?" Balaa said, slightly panicked.

 

[JessieSune]

Kayla takes her position between the two, and goes to sleep.

As Balaa says it, it all makes sense. Of course they are. Same mind, same body -- same personality -- they were two separate machines, now, they are one improved and more efficient one. No need to panic -- this is ideal.
