Fandom A Chance Meeting at Ilex Forest

Cassiopeia cries and cries. The wind picks up and rain begins to fall. As he continues the house begins to shake, the floor to rattle, and tree branches to reach through the windows.

The forest is mourning, and still the Pokemon sobs as if his heart has been pulled out of him.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Oh my dearest....." She said continuing to sob with him, the forest only seeming to make it more poignant.

 

[JessieSune]

His voice changes from time to time. Danielle realizes he's absorbed the grief of the others and is working through it as well. First Peter, then Malea, and on even with a robotic voice through Balaa's.

Hours pass, and still he cries as the house becomes overgrown with foliage.

Danielle was still with him, through it all. His sadness causing her to continue her sobs.

He finally begins to quiet. As Danielle looks up she sees the house is fine. In its place is a grove of willow trees, leaning inwards to the Pokemon, who now lie on a bed of moss.

Cass doesn't speak.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"My love..." she said simply, just trying to be there for him.

 

[JessieSune]

"I have mourned for several, on behalf of several. The forest is sad today. I will not eat again until the villains are utterly destroyed."

 

[AmethystRoze]

She nodded slowly. "They wont know what species they are or want to be by the time we'll be finished."

 

[JessieSune]

"That is our dark resolution. Let us begin our search and destroy mission."

His eyes are red now, without a hint of compassion.

"The lab is our first stop."

 

[AmethystRoze]

She nodded, the same shade of red coating her irises. "Let's destroy every part of them."

 

[JessieSune]

The Mew floats back up and proceeds silently to the lab.

"Simon will know who killed him, even if he can't tell us."

 

[AmethystRoze]

She followed, never saying anything, her eyes still bloodshot from te long night weeping.

The two arrive to see humans and Pokemon investigating the place. Cass waves a hand and they all turn to stone.

"Now we can work."

 

[AmethystRoze]

She followed walking over to the room of the crime. Shrapnel was everywhere... and there was a..... She faltered. "Sh...Shelby."

 

[JessieSune]

Cass also falters, but only a moment. "We shall avenge her soon. Let us see what became of Simon to cause all this."

He approaches the wreck.

 

[AmethystRoze]

Instead of sorrow her heart was only filled with anger as her eyes glowed an unnatural red, an aura emanating from them. "Yes.. then let me absorb you, like before Peter."

 

[JessieSune]

"You wish to absorb me?"

He looks at the wreck, then pulls out a sharp object.

"The one behind this created this to hijack Simon's mind. It still works, even after the explosion."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Yes... they could not resist the both of us combined, they wont be able to react."

 

[JessieSune]

"Then we shall become one."

Cass floats to her tails and vanishes inside them.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Tahnk you my love.... but im afraid you must take a back seat now." She said, psychically locking him in.

 

[JessieSune]

Cassiopeia's thoughts fall silent as his power, his body, and his mind are absorbed into Danielle's, strengthening her... and reinforcing the mission.

 

[AmethystRoze]

She quickly traveled to the location gathered, her eyes still glowing red.

 

[JessieSune]

It's a computer lab. Porygon and humans are most of what's inside, though a security guard with an Arcanine guards the door.
