"We need to expand the capacity of his CPU by 134%," Liese says. "We may need to build a brand new one."

He giggles. "Having fun?" he asks.

"Indeed. Should we keep it Pikachu form or give him a raichu instead?"

"Yeah" Balaa says as she pulls out paper to Candies rock.

The others nodded. "Then evolve him it is... though, the alolan variant might be more efficient."

Liese nods. "It would also allow for expansion of neural connection protocols. Beginning disassembly."

Liese nods. "In that case, program the unit as a service drone for remote work. We'll utilize it for dangerous or menial tasks."

The new Simon is beginning to take shape.

"Okay," he nods with a grin. "Scissors!"

"Right." Said one, leaving the process of rebuilding to repurpose the new drone.

Balaa pulled out scissors as well......to candy's rock. "hehee everythings as it should be.

"Aside from hardware rebuilding, any recommended changes to the unit, sick as software changes, or so forth?" Asks Liese as the new Simon is pieced together.

"Aww..." Simon giggles. "Um ... Paper?"

"None are required it seems, as we only made the upgrades to help him resolve larger logic equations... though we could always ask once he wakes up."

Balaa brought out scissors to candies rock. "I got you Peter." Balaa said, in victory.

"Yeah, but I got you Balaa."

"Very well. Simon 2.0 construction complete. Activating unit."

Simon whirs to life and begins to float in the air.

"Software loaded," he says. "Operations up to date. And...wow! You guys did an amazing job! I look all fancy...I can fly now too! Aw, gosh, I love being a robot. You go to sleep and wake up and you're really cool! Thank you!"

"Pikadrone activated and awaiting orders," says Simon's body mindlessly.

"Which means I got you, Candy! ...so no one won, did they?"

"No, everyone wins!" Candy said excitedly.

Which just means nobody does hehe. Thought Balaa.

Simon giggles synthetically, then does a few laps around the room.

"What did you do with the old me?"

Peter nods. "Should we play again or try something else? Like a mind game?"

"We decided it would be helpful to keep around so we made it into a drone." At that a robotic whistling noise was made calling said drone.

Balla raised an eyebrow as Candy cocked her head. "Mind game?" they asked, nearly in unison.

Simon, or rather, what used to be Simon, comes into the room on demand and faces the four bots, then salutes.

"Awaiting orders," it says in a very Simon like voice, despite it being monotone.

"Wow. So that's what I used to be...which means that was once a real Pikachu!" Simon scratches his head, then laughs.

"Okay, bots, back to work. Except for you, Liese. You need to recharge."

"Well, we can play 20 questions, or hypnosis words, or Checkers!"

They nodded, all getting back to what they were doing previously before Simon started to malfunction. Except Liese of course.

"What are those?" Asks candy, excited at the thought of new games.

The new Simon looks around and begins to play with his tail.

"Somehow I've gotta train them to play. But for now... I'm gonna download a movie. I wish Danielle were here..."

Simon explains each one. "And hypnosis words is a game where each person thinks of a word, and if someone else guesses it after asking three questions, the other person is 'hypnotized' and has to do what they say for one turn."

Simon goes and watches several seasons of TV, periodically approving or denying ideas and requests.

Candy and Balaa huddle up deciding what questions to ask. "Ok..." Says Balaa. "Is it a person?"

They discuss again. "Is it someone in this house?" Candy asked this time.
