Shelby is holding a towel over her hand but drops it upon seeing the floor. "You...guys...wow....how did you...?"

Danielle smiled. "I hope it looks acceptable." She said nuzzling Shelby and picking up the towel for her

"It's amazing! You guys didn't have to do that for me?" She looks almost teary eyed, but then shakes it off. "I'm going to have to fix you guys something extra special today!"

"No need," says Cass. "It was our pleasure to assist you."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"You always do so much for us, were more than happy to repay your kindness!"

 

[JessieSune]

Shelby gives both of them a big hug, then opens the fridge.

"Today you guys are getting the best thing I can make -- breakfast muffins, mixed with cream and topped with fruit!"

Danielle's mouth watered on the spot, but she swallowed and kept her composure. "That sounds fantastic." She admitted. "But you don't have to do anything special."

 

[JessieSune]

"Well, I'm going to all the same," Shelby replies, beginning to pull things from the refrigerator.

"I'm going to become a balloon at the rate she feeds us," Cass chuckles.

"Not quite," laughs Shelby. "In fact today we'll be removing that little paunch you do have!"

He looks down at his stomach and blushes.

Danielle chuckled softly at Cass reaction, he always seemed so goofy.
Cass, we should talk

"What's wrong?"

Shelby starts on the dish, leaving the two alone.

 

[AmethystRoze]

It's about our son, now that you've fine a day betting captured, I wanted to know wether or not you think he should be, Shelby's dying to know.

 

[JessieSune]

"Well, it's a different dynamic for him. Do you think it wise? We grew up wild -- what will change if he's raised domestic?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

I've no idea, I don't want him changed so young, but maybe that'll make it easier for him? It's all very confusing.

 

[JessieSune]

"Well, we both know that if he stays wild he'll likely spend less time with us. I mean, he'll want to explore, not stay in a house or a lab."

 

[AmethystRoze]

True, he'll have less of a sense of independence, which he needs, that poor boy is the adjust thing I've seen.

 

[JessieSune]

"The adjust thing? Don't forget, he was an adult until you reverted him to save him and us both. He's already pretty adjusted, so to speak."

Cass thinks.

"If we had him stay wild, would it not be like giving him away?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

Well.. in a way, but in a way if he was captured we would be giving him to Shelby. His mind is still young, if he were captured I wouldn't be surprised if Shelby became his new mommy.

 

[JessieSune]

"You have a point. Unfortunately, I'm not sure we can safely leave the decision up to him alone...and I am not overly excited about him switching back and forth between homes..."

 

[AmethystRoze]

Shelby's given us permission to leave every three days right? We could take him with us and maybe get Malea and Bryndle to babysit for us once every week?

 

[JessieSune]

"A reasonable suggestion. I'm rather nervous he'll think I'm abandoning him..."

 

[AmethystRoze]

Of course not dearest, it's only once a week, and that boy loves you to death. She She said, nuzzling him for comfort.

 

[JessieSune]

"I know he does...I almost wish he didn't love me quite as much...I don't want him to wrap his entire life around trying to make us happy...as you did as a child with Balaa..."

 

[AmethystRoze]

That's true..we don't want a tiny Danielle on our hands, but that's why I think these excursions are good for him. I didn't have any friends or people in my life besides Simon, but now he'll have Malea and Bryndle and the twins.

 

[JessieSune]

"You're right," he says, "And I didn't mean that in a way designed to criticize you. Okay...he'll spend time with us and with the Shaymin family, depending."

"You guys ready to eat?" Shelby questions, entering the room.

 

[AmethystRoze]

Alright, and no offense taken, looking back it was quite cute, but horrible for me. She said with a slight giggle.

"I don't think you'll find a time when we won't eat your delicious food."

 

[JessieSune]

Shelby chuckles. "Well then, make yourselves comfortable." With that, she sets out plates for the two of them, then fills them up with a ton of food.

"You mentioned the bots were thinking about how to defeat the daycare. What of our electric friends?"

"I'm thinking of putting them up for adoption," replies Shelby. "What do you guys think?"
