Shelby nods. "Of course, sweetheart. Take your time about it."

Peter goes back to his waffles, satisfied by his mother's answer.

Inside, Cassiopeia's mind is changed drastically, cementing their loyalty to Shelby and programming an even more intense love for mate and child both.

"Thanks for understanding, I really appreciate it, now you need to eat" she said before doing it herself.

"Do you like the waffles Peter?"

Peter nods, and Shelby partakes of the plate with a smile. "I hope you know I intend to dedicate my work to making you both happy, right?"

Peter giggles. "Did you have a long day today?"

Shelby nods.

"A little bit honey, but we couldn't handle." She said with a hint of a smile.

"Of course not. There's nothing you and Daddy can't handle!" Peter laughs.

"You are the must flattering little man I've ever met" she said nosing him and giggling.

"Daddy taught me!" Peter said proudly.

"Well," says Shelby, "I think you guys deserve a break. How about I go to work and give you all the day off?"

She nodded. "That would be lovely thank you " She said looking at Peter, a sense of pride filing her. My word these two would give Bryndle a run.... Bryndle! Malea! Her eyes widened.

"In that case I'll take Simon and Radar, and you three can head to the forest."

Shelby stands up. "Don't get into too much trouble while I'm gone!"

"My friends, my family their pregnant, but I haven't seen them since I've come here, and they should've delivered by now." Danielle said, smiling wide.

Shelby claps. "How sweet! Say hi to them for me? Oh, here's your husband," she adds tossing the ball to Danielle.

Danielle tapped the button, and braced herself for what was about to happen.

Cass pops out, stretches, smiles, licks Shelby, hugs Peter, and nuzzles Danielle.

"It's nice to be surrounded by loved ones," he giggles.

Danielle nuzzles him back "we're glad to be with you, and soon you'll be surrounded by more." She said explaining the plan.

Cass's eyes light up. "Wonderful! I've missed them. Peter can make some new friends!"

"Alright you three. Be back by tomorrow night, okay?" Shelby smiles.

"Alright." Danielle said, nodding. "Would you like to meet some friends Peter?"

 

[JessieSune]

"Yes, Mommy," replies Peter. "That sounds like fun."

Cass lifts both of them. "Shall I send you both ahead?"

"No, Peter could use the exercise." She said. "I can't carry you all the time, or else your legs well stop working."

Peter giggles. 'Yeah, I need to walk!'

"Very well," laughs Cass. "But I shall float all the same."

"See you!" Shelby starts out the door.
