And so time passes. Shelby later leaves, meaning only the two bottled Pokemon are left in the lab.

"Danielle? How you feeling? How we feeling, actually? I can't tell where you start and I stop, which is kinda fun! Time seems to pause when we're like this, don't you think?"

....

"Wow...twins. No wonder they were so hard to deliver," Malea's breathless giggles indicate the challenge she just overcame.

"Heh... yeah it does." slightly more conscious than normal Thanks to Akira

 

[JessieSune]

"Do you feel angry with Shelby? I think she means well, but I feel like maybe she doesn't know how to tell you how much she loves you. I scanned her heart -- she wants you to be happy, and she's worried because she never trained a Pokemon before!"

A pause.

"It's nice being this close. It sorta feels like you're nuzzling me like you used to. I can't feel my brain, though, which is funny, don't you think?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Yeah..Hehe it's pretty funny.......what do you mean but used to?"

 

[JessieSune]

"Well, I mean...I know you still do...but I missed you for a while -- and we can't actually nuzzle each other since neither of us have bodies right now. I wonder what we'll look like when Shelby puts us back into solid forms."

Another pause.

"I love you more than any Pokemon I've ever met, Danielle. I'd be happy to stay in here with you forever, I think."

If Danielle could've smiled she would've. The sweet words of Akira actually waking her up. "I love you to....favorite " she

 

[JessieSune]

A warm glow fills the bottle.

"I never had a mother before you. Even though I'm much older, I think of you like my mom. I can't imagine ever being parted from you. Would... would you agree to let me be part of you?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Heh...sure.." She said

 

[JessieSune]

The warmth intensifies.

"Then it's settled. We'll be one and the same from now on!" Akira somehow giggles.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Yay!" Danielle said excitedly not sure whY she's excIted

 

[JessieSune]

The warmth continues all through the night. Shelby comes back the next day -- her look says it all. She quickly gets a tray ready.

..."hey...Shes back."

 

[JessieSune]

Moments later, the liquid is poured, then stirred, then charged.

"Come on, guys. Time to come back."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"this'll be fun." She thought, groggy.

 

[JessieSune]

A few minutes later, the Pokemon solidifies. Shelby is stunned.

"You're... beautiful... Danielle."

 

[AmethystRoze]

Danielle blushed. "Awww, though it's my just me anymore.." She said, before remembering the deal she made....

 

[JessieSune]

Shelby hardly waits for Danielle to finish before scooping the fusion into a big hug.

"I missed you, honey. I'm never doing that again, promise!"

 

[AmethystRoze]

The part that was Danielle smiled and licked her trainers face with a goody grin on hers.



"Twins! I couldn't have dreamt of this!" Bryndle said practically bouncing with energy, looking at the two newborns his eyes sparkling with glee, he licked their eyes open, letting then take in the world around them.

 

[JessieSune]

Shelby lifts the fusion up, rocks it back and forth, and carries it to the kitchen.

"Hungry, little lady?"

 

[AmethystRoze]

As if in cue her stomach growled. "I guess so" she said giggling. Wait...isn't Akira here?

 

[JessieSune]

Shelby nods, then pulls down a sandwich from the counter, then unwraps it, placing it in a plate covered with whipped cream.

"Enjoy!" She begins to pet her slightly smaller Pokemon.

 

[AmethystRoze]

Her stomach growled again. I've never been this hun...Simon. She said to herself before trying something else. "hello?...... Akira?"

 

[JessieSune]

There's no response...but Danielle feels a little change...as if her mind is switching something on and off.

"Akira?... this isn't funny." She said, though she kept a straight face for Shelby and ate her food.
