Fandom A Chance Meeting at Ilex Forest

Danielle did as was told, breathing flame into the space beneath the stove, eager to please. She continued, not sure when to stop, but her eyes betrayed no boredom, this new experience exciting for her.

"Alright...and...done!" Shelby takes a spatula, cuts the mass in half, having flipped it a few times, and sets it on two plates, one of which she gives to Danielle.

"Grub's up!" she grins.

"Thanks!" She said, her gratitude shown through her eating, though she slowed down a little, not wanting to run out quickly

"How do you like it? Mine tastes nice, but I want to make sure you like it -- otherwise I'll give you more of yesterday's recipe!"

"It's great! We didn't eat much meat in the forest, the change of flavors is really tasty "

"You're never a burden," replies Shelby earnestly. "You're the only one besides me I get to cook for, and I LOVE cooking!"

"Well then, I cant say no to that!" Danielle said, gratefully finishing off her omelet .

(Ciao for now :) )

Shelby nods, then begins filling the pan with more food. "I'm going to need another ember, alright?" As she speaks she scratched Danielle right behind the ears.

"Mmm alright." She said, breathing flame upon the logs the early scratches were the best.

"No, though I was thinking about going into psychiatry like, ' I can fix any problems, simply by getting rid of it on the first day!'" She said giggling.

"Oh, like hypnotherapy?" asks Shelby with a mildly serious tone. "I think you might actually be good at that. Speaking of which, when we go to work today I'm gonna ask you to keep me focused on work, okay?"

Danielle thought about that, and it made her slightly disappointed, but agreed nonetheless. "Alright, do you think that'll help you be more productive?"

"I hope so. I just want to test it. You sound a little sad. What's wrong?" Shelby reaches down and pets the Ninetales again, burying her face in the Pokemon's neck.

"Alright. Let's get going!" Shelby pulls out the ball and Danielle is quickly transferred inside. She places the Ninetales on her belt, then picks up a bag and leaves. It's not long before she reaches the lab.

Danielle pondered what they were in for today, then wondered how great it would be!

A few moments later Danielle is placed back in the regular world again.

"Now I left a bunch of new software in the installation queue for Liese last night, so she should be a fully capable lab assistant now. I want to test her ability, so I'm going to have her construct a chemical healing potion all by herself. Essentially, I'm attempting to find out how far Liese can be stretched before she needs direct human assistance."

Shelby types a few keys and Liese enters, LEDs yellow.

"Good morning, admins Danielle and Shelby. I have successfully installed all new programming and am happy to obey any and all commands. Please assign a task at your convenience."

Shelby nods, but rather than speaking, she types some things, remotely programming the action into Liese, who nods.

"Instruction received. Executing."

"Write, she seems totally different than yesterday.. She seems happier." Danielle said, looking at the robot.

"She is happier. You see, over time, I'm trying to make Liese less like a Pokemon and more like an all-around artificial intelligence server. That means not only teaching her lots of tasks, but also increasing her happiness whenever she obeys her programming."

Liese has already begun compiling components onto a countertop. Some look like berries -- others are less recognizable.

"You, on the other hand, are a perfect Pokemon and should never change. Now then, I need to work. So many ideas...where to start?"

"Aww.. thanks." Danielle said, blushing. Her eyes then glowed blue. Focus..
