Shelby watches with amusement, then goes back to typing. She's probably filling out a report.

"Tonight. It'll be easier to blend in. Besides, I'd rather avoid violence -- I just want my daughter and your sister back."

Danielle continued to play with the toy, wondering how Liese was doing.


They all nod, getting their sister back their number 2. priority. "On of us should stay back with Akira however." The left said, as the rest chimed in their agreement.

 

[JessieSune]

"That sounds good," replies Balaa. "You protect the forest's heart. The rest of us will go at sunset."

"Please stay safe," Akira says anxiously.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Of course." A Lucario said. "We will return." Said the other before adding. "So now we wait."

 

[JessieSune]

The fusion goes around each one and places their hands on them, giving each a warm feeling -- even the bots.

"I trust you'll be well. Go in peace."

...

"Danielle, could you see how Liese's work is coming? And afterward I'll give you some ice cream."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Thank you Akira" They said in unison, all happy to feel something again.


"Alright!" Danielle said, walking to where she thought Liese was. Hmm I wonder what ice cream is.. if Shelby's giving me some I bet its delicious!

 

[JessieSune]

The Pikamew nods, then returns downstairs, closes their eyes, and floats, glowing.

"So much life in such a small body..." Balaa nods.

...

Liese can be seen under the boiler. Her normally expressive LEDs show only numbers as she works. Her focus on her task is absolute, but she still waves.

"Hello Danielle."

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Enough life to make even beings like us feel warmth again, we are truly honored to help them" The bot staying with Akira said.


"Hi Liese! How are things going?" Daniele asked.

 

[JessieSune]

"I'm happy. This project is not very hard, but it's taking a while, because it's a safety thing and preservation of life is of course very important to me."

Elsewhere, Shelby is scooping ice cream.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Alright thanks! I'm happy you're happy." She said nuzzling her robotic friend some.. though something felt slightly wrong for some reason... She went back to Shelby, if something was wrong maybe she would know.

 

[JessieSune]

Shelby turns to see her Pokemon and smiles.

"Hi, sweetheart! How was she doing? I'm almost ready with your treat!"

 

[AmethystRoze]

Her previous worries were quickly forgotten when she saw Shelby. "She said that it was easy enough, though it might take some time." She said walking up to Shelby, hoping for some off-handed pets.

 

[JessieSune]

"Oh, lovely! She's already very useful then. Well, here you are! I can't give it to you every day because you'll become a really big girl, but I think today is special."

She reaches down and pats her, setting the bowl in front.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Thanks!" She said nuzzling into her owner, and then licking into the ice cream. "This is so good!!" She said licking faster.

 

[JessieSune]

"Yeah? You like it?" Shelby smiles. "It's Sitrus Berry! Don't eat too fast, though, or you'll get a headache!"

With that, she sits in a chair to watch her pet.

She slowed her eating, Shelby knew best after all. She looked up at Shelby, still just happy that she was happy.

 

[JessieSune]

"It's not as sweet as you are, you know," she says with a chuckle. "Hey, how heavy are you? I wonder if I could carry you without your ball."

 

[AmethystRoze]

She cocked her head, pondering the question. "I don't know, I've never bothered to ask someone." She said, bowing her head some, sad she couldn't answer Shelby.

 

[JessieSune]

"Well, let's find out!" And with that Danielle finds a pair of arms around her chest and her self being lifted into the air.

"Oh, you're like a giant pile of fluff and love!"

 

[AmethystRoze]

Danielle hadn't expected it, but immediately was happy being lifted in the air. She licked Shelby before placing her head under Shelby's chin, a near purring noise emanating from her chest.

 

[JessieSune]

Shelby laughs at Danielle's antics and nuzzles her back. The Ninetales can hear her owner's heartbeat -- eventually they begin to sync.

 

[AmethystRoze]

She held onto Shelby, not wanting the embrace to end, her eyes started to shut, her body becoming limp. The embrace was so comfy and warm..

 

[JessieSune]

"Oh..." Shelby nods, then smiles. "When you learn to love someone you go all in, huh? Well, sleepy girl...where can I place you while I work?"

She glances over at a countertop and places the Pokemon on it, but can't seem to let go.

"Uh-oh...you hypnotized me, didn't you? Sweetheart, I love you but I have to let go eventually."
