@The Suspicious Eye Just a quick note about your characters backstory: you say that she emitted a lot of AIM as a child and people thought she'd be an Esper. However, as far as I know that's impossible, as only Espers emit AIM, meaning she would have already been an Esper when she was told she had a large chance of being an Esper, making the people who told her that complete idiots.

That having been said, though, wouldn't it be funny if Parameter List fucked up this once and gave her such a high ranking in terms of capability, and then the guys responsible figured it out, but didn't bother doing anything about it, and just let it be because everything was already said and done?

Lol thank you. Umm how should I fix that? Wait can you emit a lot of AIM and not develope your Esper abilitis later in life?

After hitting the wikia hard enough for information, this is all it has to say, summed up:


"AIM is a weak energy that is unconsciously emitted by espers."


I doubt there are any non-espers that emit AIM, Gemstone or no. You can try making your character a Gemstone, having been born with natural psychic capabilities, just not being able to use them at the age, and then they developed over time. It also explains the AIM field that she radiated, and Parameter List listed her as a high priority subject due to the potential. Sounds nice?

@The Suspicious Eye Well I'm not gonna pretend to understand a whole lot about how Gemstones work so I can't comment on @simj22 s idea, but I would personally just get rid of the whole thing about her having lots of AIM. For one, I'm not even sure if having lots of AIM is an indication of a high leveled Esper. Also, there would be no difference if you left that part out. Her sister could still be an Esper, her parents could want her to be one as well, and nothing changes. Unless You're REALLY pushing a prodigy angle then that's what I would do.

I'll do that I'd Bandit says no on the gemstone thing. It really doesn't matter to me. I'm just lazy.

The Power Curriculum Programme ensures you are fed drugs that enhance your mental prowess to a point where you gain psychic abilities.


Or you can be born naturally with it, outside of Academy City. The ones who are born with such abilities, or develop said abilities outside of the PCP, are called Gemstones.
