The original function of the dark side of Academy city evolved from the needs of the higher ups to better protect the city's assets; Anti-Skill being deemed inefficient and unable to properly deal with the further problems arising. It is from this need that a multitude of groups are formed by a variety of people to serve different functions, be it as an elite force to beat the aggressors with or protecting the more important members of academy city.
However, nearly all of these groups were wiped out during the infamous events of World War III
Large numbers of them simply dissolving or being utterly destroyed.
One of the more notable groups who were dissolved however were solely responsible for the protection of Mainstream society; GROUP.
Crippled yet still existing the Dark side of the city went on as a new group was formed to compensate for this loss.
OUROBOROS
An ancient symbol of a dragon and sometimes serpent eating It's own tail.
Made from not only notable Espers & People, but Magicians they have been tasked with one thing.
The sole protection of Academy City and to act In It's best interests.
They were formed so events like the Invasion of Academy City, The attack orchestrated by Terra of the Left, A highly destructive Incident concerning multiple beings referred to as St Germain and most recently along with most concerningly the Invasion of Academy City by a group of highly destructive magical beings who have wreaked havoc throughout our city. As a result of all this, the plans to officially form OUROBOROS have been given the go. You have been selected from the populace to fulfill this task of protecting both society and the city itself from the dangers that lurk around every corner.
Be it defending the City from a group of escapee's who have ran from the Reformatory to eliminating a cult of dark sorcerers.
Nothing will stand in the way of

Blargh, My first attempt at creating a Rp based on my favorite Light Novel!
Given the lack of an active Raildex Rp I have formulated this wonderful Idea after intensive thinking of how to actually make a Rp that could work in this universe.
Ignore any inclinations of sloppiness, I've made this in like the middle of the night after getting all excited from reading the most recent volume of the Light Novel.
Questions may be asked below.

If it wasn't so blatantly obvious, this will be a fandom RP taking place in the Raildex Universe.
The main story line will follow the adventures of SIX characters { excluding my own } as they work for the seedy underbelly of the dark side whilst protecting the city itself. Character slots will be limited to SIX and Character sheets will be based on the amount of SKILL and EFFORT put into a sheet, NO reservations OR First come first serve.
If you are unable to initially enter the Rp for whatever reason or stumble upon the Rp beyond the deadline which I plan to set, You may PM me and offer to take up the mantle of either a side character or Villain.
However you will need an idea beforehand and what you want to do, as I will not tell you what to do.
The position of Level 5 will be unavailable given that this takes place in the CANON universe. This is not debatable so deal with it.
I will allow ONE Gemstone to be made.
Magicians though playable, cannot form the bulk of the group. If i find that there are too many being made, you will be asked to create another character.
This Rp shall be somewhere between Casual and Detailed.
Anyone writing a One liner will be ejected immediately.
