Fantasy | A Bloody Betrayal |Werewolf Pack

James Law

James looked down to the female wolf Lily as she approached him and began sniffing around him, possibly trying to identify him. His eyebrows rose in modest surprise when she licked his hand, perhaps as her way of thanking him. He nodded down to her. "No problem."

Jamie avoided looking at one of the females as she Changed. Only when she was out of view did his travel where she had been, pausing to look at the other female sitting at the foot of the staircase. He cocked his head to the side as he looked at her, the werewolf seemed to be overflowing with guilt. Was she perhaps a Beta? He was aware of the depth of her feelings, having known them before but it did no one any good if she let herself sink into tgat rut. Before Jamie could relieve the poor soul of her temporary baggage with a few wisely spoken words, the Alpha returned with another girl in his arms.

After the Alpha's question, James shrugged. "Depending on the severity of the cut, it depends. They will heal slower and leave scars but ewith a few tricks, tricks that I know, the process won't be as painful." He stooped next to the girl and unbound one of her wounds, inspecting it before moving on to the next until he examined them all respectfully. "They're not so bad. Wait here." He went to the door under the staircase into the basement to grab some herbs and made a quick poultice like mixture. He was about to emerge from the basement when he noticed the female that had recently Changed searching for something. Gaining some idea of what the woman was looking for thanks to previous knowledge of his wife, Jamie went back down the basement and into the adjoining cellar, picking out a wine at random and climbed back up the stairs and headed to the kitchen, setting the bottle of fine liqour on the counter. He winked at the younger woman and turned back to the living room, kneeling next to the girl. He checked her pulse and temperature with his forehead to hers. Satisfied that she was well enough not to have extreme care, James handed the cup with the mixture of herbs that smelled bitterly of tea to their Alpha. "Have her drink this when she wakes."

He stood and stepped back, looking at all those in the room. "Now, I'm sure you're all curious of who I am. I'm James. James Law. And you're all in my house. So, please, introduce yourselves." He crossed his arms and looked at the Alpha, purposely not mentioning that he had 'borrowed' the mansion. But it wasn't important at the moment. He needed to know who these brats were and why they were here, causing trouble.

Caspian

She grinned, dragging her fingers slowly over the mansion door. Blood washing from her fingers to the symbol she carved.

sigil3.jpg

It was an older time symbol, one ingrained in her head from her past. It meant no good to those inside. Caspian dipped her fingers into the throat of a chipmunk, twisting its neck until more blood came out. She finished the symbol, throwing the dead carcass onto the roof, and strode away.

-mangy half-wits following a dunce for a leader and expecting sunshine crap, how delusional can this system get. Didn't even hear me come, such rotten excuses for wolves shouldn't be allowed in my woods.-

Caspian shifted back into her wolf form. It looked like slow melting ice pooling towards the ground, her body giving way to the animalistic side with little resistance. Caspian stode slowly, paws melting into the ground; appearing as though she was gliding. She stopped at the nearest tree to the mansion and marked it.

Caspian noticed the other person. She, staying in her wolf form showed no interest. She continued on her way, shoulder blades rotating in tandem as she walked.

-pack brats aren't worth anyone's time. Cry to an alpha little pet.- she thought.

Her eyes looked distant as she walked, completely absorbed in other things. Her pelt shifted as her paw-falls whisked up early night dew. A few fireflies had started to come out. She stopped to look at them buzz. Caspian lifted her nose to the air and blew a small current for the flies to travel on. She shook her head once as a mosquito flew near her ear, and continued on.

Jonathan looked up at James as he spoke. Nodding in understanding, he was more relieved that Nicole was going to be okay, minus an extra scar. Getting up, he let James examine his sister and do his thing, under Jonathan's careful eye of course. When James left he kept an eye on the white wolf form of his sister, hoping she would wake up soon. Reaching out, stroke the white wolf's head again. Seeing him come back, he gently took the homemade remedy from his hand and put it on the nearside table for Nicole to drink when she gets up, trusting in it, since he seemed to be no threat at all. Looking up at him, he looked at James with a bit of a surprised face with the bombshell that he just dropped on them.

"
Your house?!" John exclaimed. He couldn't believe a wolf pack not far from here would send them to a place already an inhabited. He didn't know why they would do that? "A local wolf pack sent us here to be a safe house and to help kill some of those humans out there trying to kill us," he explained. Though maybe, he figured, if they knew, that they did this for a reason. Maybe they were supposed to find each other to help each other out, give each other something or showing the other something that the other need to be helped with or be shown.

"
But if you really need to know. I am Jonathan and this white wolf here is Nicole. Ambrose is the last name," he answered.

Stephan Alfred Johnson

"
You really think you are the only werewolf in these parts?" Stephan asked, not being able to believe how she could be so ridiculous. "Well, I have bad news for you two werewolf packs are in the area. One I am a part of and the other not two miles from here," he explained. He also couldn't believe that she would think that the whole woods were all here. These woods were massive, acres big, they couldn't possibly be all hers. Planning on gaining information about her to warn his Alpha, to see if she was a threat, he followed her. "Who are you?" he questioned.

(Sorry about Stephan, I couldn't think of much to go on)

Maryam Prim

Maryam nodded her thanks, grateful for finally getting what she wanted that entire morning. Studying the bottle, her heart skipped a beat when she realized the quality of wine. She smiled and ducked quickly into the kitchen. Finally, after a minute of opening and closing cabinet doors, she found the wine glasses in the top door and after a moment of considering, took a few out. Judging from the boss's voice shouting from the other room, they were gonna need a drink or two. Screw it if some of them weren't exactly twenty one, they sure as hell deserved it. After pouring our own drink, she carried the glasses into the living room, along with the wine. She took a seat on the sofa next to Nicole, setting down the bottle of wine and the glasses on the coffee table and petting her pack mate's head gently. The rim of the glass met her lips and Maryam sipped the liquor as she watched the newcomer.

Caspian

She turned around, her massive body coming to a point at her nose. She shifted, her being melding into a bipedal form, her skin tightening and paling, fur receding into pores. Her teeth came to blunted points, but still wolf-like. Her hair fell easily over her shoulders. Her eyes never left the mans.

"Why should I tell you anything, pack brat? All you know is how to re word what your precious alpha tells you. Tell me, does it get annoying sharing a brain? Constantly having to lie down. Sit packie, sit!" Caspian said, flatly, raising her eyebrow.

She folded her arms under her chest. She was naked, but did not care that she was. Her body heat reacted to the colder night air, and a few tendrils of hest radiated off of her. She looked implanted, a part of the Forest around her, no different than a leaf.

Lilly was glad that the man had understood her gratitude and she turned away seeing the alpha in the room she dipped her head for a moment before looking to the woman who had just come in and was drinking wine. She sat down near the edge of the groups watching, not wanting to disturb there conversation.

Though the wine smelled expensive it made her sneeze and she wanted to change back... But she didn't really know if that was a good idea since she didn't have any clothes at the moment to change into. So she stayed in wolf form laying down her eyes flicking from the alpha to James

Sil Mulier

Sil whined as she moved forward slightly, not wanting to Change because that meant she'd have to face her pack in human form and be naked among them, but she also wanted to Change so that she could answer the man known as James Law as well as thank him for saving her fellow packmates. After another moment of consideration, Sil began her painful Change, making pained noises that sounded like a mixture of human and animal as her wound tried to heal while her bones broke to shift and reformed into her human form. As she finished shifting into her human form, Sil was panting on the hardwood floor of the living room, now curled up at the base of the couch. Her lightly tanned skin was bloody and her wound healing, but the wound looked ugly and would probably leave an ugly looking scar. Her hair fell across her face and her eyes were pointed at the ground when she spoke in a choked voice.

"My name...is Silva Mulier.... I am the female Beta of this pack." Sil managed to speak, still feeling the repercussions of Changing. She glanced up at the man now identified as James Law and, looking him directly in the eye, spoke softly, "Thank you." She them moved her gaze from his in respect and returned it to the floor in shame, avoiding looking at her...well...family. She curled up to cover most of herself, since Sil was quite self-conscious when it came to her looks, and continued to stare at the floor, trying not to make a move.

Laire MacLain

The red head went around the couch to Sil after she Changed and introduced herself in a pained manner. Laire took a blanket from the couch and draped it around the Beta who avoided her eye. She pursed her lips and gently patted her shoulder before standing and turning to the man James Law. "And I am Laire MacLain. Hunter. I would like to thank you as well." She introduced herself as well. Her brows furrowed curiously remembering he had mentioned the mansion belonging to him before. But would an experienced pack with good will actually send them to invade his home? While his claim was logical and she couldn't deny without proof, it seemed odd. Laire mused over this as she stood next to the couch and Sil.

Sergei Blackwood

"I am Sergei Blackwood." The fighter introduced himself with a Russian brogue. He tried to face the general area the man was standing, as he assumed he was, behind the couch, resting his fingertips on the back of the couch as if it was supporting his weight. "Thank you." He said respectfully, his tone bitten by his bitterness of the inability to see. Sergei kept blinking his eyes and angling his head in different ways, as if it would suddenly help him regain his sight. His fingertips resting on the couch became fists embedded in the cushion with his frustration.

James Law

He looked coolly at those who introduced themselves, respectfully looking away at those still nude. Jamie flexed his jaw as he processed and placed names with faces. He was still shocked at the young Alpha's outburst about him declaring the house his own but Jamie didn't think that revealing his little fib would cause more trust. But he wasn't one for lying. "Well, it is not so nice meeting the punks who've taken over this place. It isn't really mine, I've just been...utilizing it so things wouldn't go to waste for the past three years." He placed his hands in his jean pockets and regarded them all. "But I would also like to ask two more questions before you bombard me with your own, hostile or not. One: are there more of you? Two: why are you here?"

Maryam Prim

Maryam held her wine carefully as not to spill the crimson liquor on the furniture. Respectfully, she allowed space between herself and the beta as she set an empty glass next to the higher ranking wolf and filled it halfway. The Sil obviously wasn't in the best of moods, and no doubt she was sore after a morning such as this. A glass of wine would help to dull the pain but Maryam wasn't going to let anyone have too much. It couldn't have been more than a few hours after seven and the pack didn't need a bunch of drunk teenagers mucking about before noon. The woman realized she didn't have the chance to introduce herself to the stranger while she was in the kitchen, but she figured it wasn't her place to cut in right now. It certainly wasn't her place to speak for the pack, Johnathan was the alpha, he would answer the questions. Maryam decided to she would have the chance to introduce herself later. For now, she was content on finally getting a moment of rest that wasn't on the ground outside. Her chest was still aching, but the pain was now a dull thob. Thank god for that stranger, and thank god that bastard's bullet hadn't lodged itself deeper.

Rey, to her own dismay, had slept for a good while longer than what she should have. She sat up on her elbows carefully, sure not to fall from her hammock in her mildly sleepy state, and brought one hand up to rub the sleep from her eyes. Wrong move. Ending up a heap on the wooden floor she groaned and pulled herself up onto her hands, before pulling herself up onto her feet and stretching herself out, still continuing to wake herself up. The young woman had taken a break from hunting on her alpha's orders, having not needed to at the moment of her going to sleep, and unfortunately she knew she had slept at least an hour over. "
God, Boss is gonna kill me...," she muttered to herself, as she stretched her back, back and regained her straight posture with a yawn. Rey looked behind her at the bedside table she owned , eyes narrowing at the digital clock, and sighed. An hour over, and she didn't even notice one bit. Too many dreams; and she was pretty sure it was Maladaptive, happened during the day aswell. It was dark out, she knew that, and it must have been why she was so comfortable.

Rey picked up a hair-tie from the dresser in front of her, facing the hammock, and she pulled her wavy and curly bronde hair up into a neat ponytail. She studied her face in the small oval mirror on it's stand and stuck her tongue out at herself before moving away to sit on her hammock. She was ready to hum to herself when she suddebly heard loud shouting from downstairs. Straight away and without much thinking Rey knew it was her Alpha and she grew a little worried. There was another raised voice, so she payed attention and listened best she could from where she was. They had to be in the living room. Both someone and Jon were at it. A fued about the house apparently. Who would dare? And who was it? "
I've heard him before...." Her mumbling brought her to her senses and she thought she better head downstairs. Maybe check out the action and releive her alpha of another worry; one of the pack's Hunter's sleeping on the job.

Rey looked down at what she was wearing and sighed lightly. She was in a pair of loose sweats with white drawstrings, a death black crop top which crossed at her back, she was barefoot, and no, no underwear, though the crop top has built in bra pad thingos...... As was per usual Rey normally wore this kind of getup. You never know when you are gonna smell a catch. Her tattoo's were visible as they always were when she dressed. Or when she was naked.....and she was pretty much ok with it, body image wasn't one thing she worried about, she embraced the nude. The tattoo wound up her side, over her arms and collarbone, over her neck, and really never ceased to amaze her.

She opened her door and quickly made her way through the house, down the stairs and over towards the living room. She passed the kitchen on her way, and very quickly grabbed an apple, taking a bite out of it before she continued to the living room. She was rounding the corner, and preferring to pretend to act oblivious she spoke after swallowing a piece of her apple, she had been humming to herself when she left the kitchen. "
Guys, what's- ." She was halted mid sentence at the scene before her. She knew she recognized him, even by his voice, his guiding and wise voice. It must have been a year at most since she saw him. Rey let out a quick smile and her face very quickly returned to something straight as she reconsidered. She knew her alpha might not appreciate it but she needed to talk to him soon. "James. James Law." So much for oblivious.

None for now. Next Post.

Jonathan Christopher Ambrose

Jonathan waited respectfully as the rest of the pack introduce themselves. One by one they answered with their names, positions and their thank you's if they wanted, which was what James wanted, also taking mental note that he had to talk to his Beta. Occasionally he glanced at his sister, checking on her and keeping an eye. He wanted to be around when she woke up, because no doubt she was going to be a bit rash in decision making when she does. Considering she was knocked out in the middle of the fight and going to smell a very unfamiliar scent when she wakes up, she is going to need someone holding her back from killing anyone for everyone's sake.

Once everyone had answered, or just about everyone James Law had presented a few more questions, all John was prepared to answer. "Stephan should be around somewhere, he's a fighter Xetari is another, he left the wolf take over and he ran off, then Rey is also upstairs," he explained, eyeing the man and kept his face and voice calm, but a bit stern. "As for your other question. I already answered that. A wolf pack around that we met sent us here along with a list of many around here that has werewolf blood on their hands. I think are purpose here is clear," he stated, taking a slight glance at the others.

Just as he finished, he noticed Rey come down the stairs and greeted James as if he was an old friend. Jonathan was puzzled, he didn't know that Rey's communications to other packs, or if she knew many werewolves, nor did he ask, but he figured he might want to ask more often, it could help them when encountering more werewolves. "Wait, you know him? May I ask how? And who he is?" the alpha questioned. He figured if Rey knew him, she could enlighten them on if he can be trusted and not just because he saved his family.

Stephan Alfred Johnson

Stephan couldn't take much of this bitch (in both terms) anymore, she was really pissing him off. She was obviously full of pride, self-centered, arrogance, bitch mode to it's top notch, etc. Boy, if thought meeting Nicole at first was bad, he had a whole new thing coming with this one. Trying to smile everything off, he shook his head, thinking of something to say, but the only thing that was coming to him was just more and more attitude, which no he figured wasn't such a bad idea. She would use the attitude that she was giving and be shown a little respect and a hell lot more than that, like how to keep her mouth shut.

"
You know you should be careful what you say," the fighter respond with a stern tone in his voice. Leaning against a nearby tree, he kept his eyes on her. "Plus my alpha isn't like that, he doesn't like using his position to be the reason to boss us around, it doesn't work that way if you want people to actually listen to you," he added. "He only uses it when he feels necessary to use it," he finished. He respectfully ignored the huge fact that she was naked, but, to be honest, he was quite used to it, with his pack Changing all the time.

Nicole Marie Ambrose

Nicole slowly woke up to Maryam petting her head, which was comforting. Finally coming to her senses, she realized that she wasn't in the woods anymore and was on the couch, just laying there, still in wolf form, which was another nice to know. Even though she was being petted on the head in comfort, she smelt an unfamiliar scent as she awoke, and that comforting gesture didn't stop her from doing what the white wolf did next. Growling, she stood up on the couch, jumped off ignoring all pain she was in, and headed to the figure. Her walking was slow and cautious, her body language was all signs that she was ready to pounce and attack in defense. Her teeth were showing, as her tongue ran across the front of them before she continue growling.

She didn't seem to notice that his scent had werewolf smell to him or that the rest of her pack was calm and sitting. All she saw was red and he was the red. She didn't know that he was helping them and didn't know that he wasn't the threat. All she remembered that she was hunting, then the four of them were attacked before the other came to the rescue before she black out or was obviously knocked out. "Nicole," she heard from a familiar voice. She recognized it as her brother. "He isn't a threat." With that she turned to face him. Her brother pointed at the man that she didn't seem to know. "If I were you, I wouldn't make any sudden movement," Jonathan told the man. She couldn't understand how her brother was trusting this man, as he knelt to get on his sister's level.

Caspian

Caspian read the energy rolling off the other wolf. She was making him angry. The corners of her pale lips curled upwards. Caspian leaned forwards a fraction of an inch, dropping her arms. Being naked in front of another was something she hadn't even thought about. She had not been in human form for very long to aquire any clothes. She lived as a wolf, her human form was just a foreign thing now. She twitched her blunt fingertips, a note of irritation of their ineffectiveness passing through her.

"Telling me what to do?" she strode up to him, her thin frame rippling over her stringy muscles. Her human form not having the same treatment as her wolf form.

"Do you think you can be in charge of me because you are a pack brat?" Caspian was still striding forwards, gliding over the mossy ground.

"Tell me, if your precious alpha is so great," she was right in his face now, nose a half an inch, her eyes steady on his. Her mouth was still curved, she knew this was annoying.

"Then go against him. If he is so great, he wouldn't stop you."

Her breath puffed in his face. There was a devilish glint in her eyes. She blinked slowly, her smile widening. Her teeth were milky against the dimness of dusk, her lips stretched around them.

"Then again, I doubt you could."

Rey shifted her gaze from James and she listened to him before opening her mouth to speak, but Nicole had woken and was advancing on James in her white wolf form. She quickly let a growl escape her own throat as she moved into the living room further and closer to James. What could she say? It was instinct. She backed off as Jon calmed her down and narrowed her eyes a little at Nicole before looking back to Jonathan and abswering him calmy. "
After I lost my pack, I wandered, passed through other packs and stayed temporarily in each before I left or was abandoned, " she explained. "Three different one's at most. I ended up finding James one fine morning. We sorta, bonded, and he became like a protector to me, a figure and a teacher." She took a small breath. "James is good, and whatever fued you have with him I think you should put it to rest. He will speak the truth and I know it. At least I hope I do anyways. I knew him for a good while." She was pretty sure she had asked his question, if not she'd continue. She glanced back to James and braced herself for her alpha's repsonse, just hoping he wouldn't be angry, and he's believe her too.

Sil Mulier

After being given a blanket and gentle pat on the shoulder, Sil pulled the blanket around her further and sniffed, her nose runny from the cold. She stood up from where she was and sat upon on the couch beside Laire and near Sergei. Sil noticed he still couldn't see and gently patted his fist in apology before drawing her hands back to the blanket in order to bring it closer to warm herself up. She looked up at James and her Alpha, then at the Alpha's sister who was still in wolf form.

"Nicole," Sil spoke in a raspy voice, then cleared her throat to sound more human. "This man is the one who saved all of our lives by removing the silver." Sil explained as she thought about the new scar that was forming near the top of her chest, towards the top of her ribs and above her right breast. A couple ribs had been broken by the silver without piercing the lung, but now that the silver was gone, her wolf characteristics would nurse her back to full health within a couple days and leave behind a gnarly scar. Her chest ached, but at least she wasn't dead. Sil showed the mark on her chest that was forming to Nicole, demonstrating that she was now healing despite the silver ammo used.

"He can be trusted, and has ensured that none of us will die tonight." Sil explained in a monotonous voice, her face becoming an expressionless mask. She didn't need to crumble even further, especially in front of her packmates, so she put up her wall.

Laire MacLain

Laire stood as Nicole approached the man and hadn't uttered a word since the quick turn of events. Rey knew this James? And he was good? Well that was all fine and jolly, but Nicole had yet to act like those words meant something to her. But the red head remained quiet. While she was not one for blood shed, she knew in this situation, if things got worst, she would be best on the sidelines while a pack tried to tear apart a rogue for defending himself. It wasn't that Laire didn't trust Rey's word but there was something off in the man's demeanor. He didn't say everything in the first go and that was enough suspicion for her to go on. She didn't wish James death, but she didn't really want him near the pack with his alien personality. So the ginger continued standing and observing with a cautious eye.

Sergei Blackwood

His grasp relaxed after he felt someone pat his hand but he wasn't sure who. Everyone was too close for him to pinpoint the smell and the voices were near each other too.

But then Rey came down and Sergei didn't know what the hell was going on. People were saying some confusing things and Nicole was growling. He wasn't an idiot and wouldn't dare try to fight with his leg still healing and being blind. He could very well attack one of his own by mistake. Sergei patiently waited behind the couch for the next stream of events, clasping his hands behind his back as if he were contemplating but really he was just trying to catch up with all the information that had just been spewed.

James Law

"No, I asked why you were all here. In this state. In this territory infested with hunters." James corrected the alpha. He was interrupted from continuing when yet another member came down the stairs, this one being Rey he gathered. He had known that name rung a bell as he stared at the younger girl. Was it really her? When she said his name in the James Bond fashion that he preferred, he knew that this young woman was once the girl he had protected in the woods long ago for many months. His brows furrowed in nostalgia and his unimpressed smile appeared on his face. "Rey Aarone. You grew out of your pig tails I see." But the little reunion was cut short when the wolf, Nicole, had awoken and smelled his unfamiliar scent.

James's eyes immediately changed to dark amber when she approached him, snarling. Her pack mates, Rey and the female Beta, tried to prove that he meant no harm by saying he had helped heal the pack and watched over Rey. While this was definitely helpful, at least James hoped, he was prepared to Change in a split second if the she wolf decided to go for his jugular. The only reason why he hadn't changed for self defense in the first place was to prove the point that he did genuinely mean the young pack no harm. But if this girl pushed it, there would be more than just scratches from a silver blade she would have to worry about. A skilled fighter, James wouldn't dare kill her and lose his chance at this golden opportunity before him. Already, his cunning mind's gears were moving. This pack could help him take down the group of hunters he had been tracking for the past five years. They would both benefit if he joined the pack, their goals were ultimately similar and James had his knowledge in healing.

He looked to the Alpha after he warned him not to move, which was interesting because James had already gathered this from how his sister was drooling to have his flesh in her mouth. An exaggeration of course but it made the thought more entertaining. His amber eyes turned brown as he looked straight at Jonathan as he spoke in a low, slow voice. "I am willing to join your little crew. If you're willing to have me." No point in trying to play superior against an Alpha. James didn't want the position and he wanted to make that clear to the younger, less experienced male.

Jonathan Christopher Ambrose

Looking up from his sister to James, he listened to him reform his question. "I could ask you the same thing," he replied and paused. "We came upon it by accident. We just made are way from place to place, meeting some new wolf packs here and there as well as expanding out little pack here. It wasn't our intent to be in this exact woods, but when he met that other wolf pack, I figured we can stay and help," he answered the question, staring at James, but then turning it to each member of the pack as they either watched Nicole or James. Some, like Rey, preparing to defend James, while the rest will tear apart James or stand back, though he was slightly unsure who would do what with either choice. Being conflicted, since he was a stranger who had helped them with their sliver problem. He had to admit he was a bit conflicted himself, but if James hurt his sister or any member of his pack he would feel he would have no choice but to do what it takes to prevent it from happening or happening again, depending on circumstances.

Turning his attention to his sister, he stepped forward, after hearing everyone put their input, or at least those who wanted to, to try to stop Nikki from attacking James. Gathering his thoughts of how he could stop her, he took a deep breath. "Nikki, how about you go upstairs, Change and then dress yourself. When you feel calm enough, you can come down and ask whatever you feel about him or say whatever is on you mind to him, okay?" he told her, before turning to Sergei. "I also want you to take Sergei with you. He is going to need some help getting used to getting around being temporary blind until his eyesight is to get better." he added. He hoped he didn't make Sergei feel he was someone to constantly look over, or a bother. He didn't want him to feel that way at all. To make sure of it, he moved to Sergei and leaned into his ear. "I hope it makes you feel like a bother, but it will help you and Nikki, keep her distracted from blinding herself with the lack of trust of our new fellow," he told him in his ear. "I don't wish to make you at all uncomfortable."

He watched Nikki slightly nod, mostly liked in a bit of reluctance as she moved in the direction of Sergei. He knew that she wouldn't leave a pack member if they are in need. He really didn't want to use Sergei in this particular way, but he felt there was a benefit for the both of them. It would give Nicole a chance to cool down by getting away and for Sergei to get used to using his other senses to get around until his eyesight gets better, if it does. Thinking about the drink that James made for his baby sister. "Sergei, can you hand her this when she is Changed?" he asked, handing it to him by placing it in his hand and not letting go until her made sure he had it.

Turning to James as Nicole tried to help Sergei up and around, be considered the arguments made by everyone as well as they actions. "I can't exactly agree or approve letting you join right now. I want to gain everyone's opinion and their concerns and possibly take care of those concerns. We had to do this with everyone, so don't feel like you are an exception. I just wish to make sure everyone can trust you enough and not because you can patch us up," he answered, addressing to everyone. He was possibly going to do it as a group or one on one, debating on risking any arguments or fights.

Nicole Marie Ambrose

Seeing Rey defending him by growling at her, the white wolf turned to Rey and growled in response. She could handle the other try to reason with her, but Rey's action with the growling and immediate defense mode with her friend wasn't a smart choice with Nicole. Nikki didn't take well to people who openly went against her. She would see them as a threat or someone who would be a potential one. Rey is lucky to be part of the pack or things would be much worse for her. Probably would've taken her head off her something if things had gotten worse, or maybe not that bad, but it wasn't to go well.

As she listened to her brother, she nodded slightly. She had taken into consideration what everyone was saying and decided she wouldn't kill him now, but she was going to keep a close eye on him, he seemed suspicious. Too suspicious for comfort. But she had trust in her pack, even though they could be clouded from good faith. She didn't believe in always trusting someone because they saved your life. They could be only saving it to gain something, usually something they can't attain on their own and she was being cautious if that was the case with James until she had proof otherwise or that she could see that he could be trusted.

With her orders to take Sergei with her, she was unsure about it. She knew why and it wasn't to help him get used to the whole getting used to the surroundings thing. She knew it was because she wouldn't be so blinded with wanting to prove her point that James can't be trusted because he can patch a few wounds. She cared too much to let it all slip away because someone managed to convince the pack by some good faith that he could be trusted and that's the only way he can be trusted. She couldn't.

Walking over to Sergei, she nudged him with her head, telling him he was there. She waited until he got up so he could help him around by guiding him.

"Actually I am warning you. Not telling you what to do. If you weren't so self-absorbed you would know the difference," Stephan answered her. Her being naked did nothing for him. It didn't do anything in her benefit and it certainly didn't turn him on. It was more of a neutral thing and if she felt that her body and looks were going to help her with anything, she was mighty mistaken. "And it's not that I can't. It's that I won't. You don't understand the word loyalty. It's because he is great that I won't, if he wasn't I would. He looks out for us and does everything in our best interest. No why would I replace that?" he questioned.

Caspian-

Her bottom lip extends outward, curling to show the pink underbelly. Her face tilts sideways, her eyes squinting slightly, as she imitates the sound of whimpering.

"I'm self-absorbed now? Thanks for the diagnosis," her lips curl into a small smile, as she corrects her head.

"Your alpha ever tell you not to judge a book by its cover? Or do you just love to spy on naked women in the woods and try and put them down?"

Though she was smiling, there was a brief moment of intense pain in her eyes. It made her expression seem stiff, as if she were molded into a yin yang, her inside roiling in the past's mistakes, while her exterior showed carefree expression. In a blink, it was gone. She sighed, placing her hands on her ribs and looking at the ground briefly.

"I'm done playing, pack-rat. You can go back to your grand life in the warm house now, your ring leader must be wondering where you are. It is past your curfew."

Boredom flicked in her eyes. She simply did not care what this packie thought of her. She had her woods, the place where she felt comfortable in her own skin. A small smile passed over Caspian's lips as a pang of nostalgia circled a memory in her head. She easily shoved it away and resumed boredom. The temperature was dropping as night progressed. Goosepimples flared over her knuckles and ribs.

Maryam let out a sigh of relief when Nicole left the room. They didn't need another altercation this morning, the incident with the humans was enough action for one day. She was thankful Jonathan was thinking carefully and considering every member of the pack. Turning her attention to the stranger in the room, she decided to make her opinion clear. "If I may, I don't think it's exactly fair to evict him. After all, he has been here for awhile by the sound of it, and I think more than a few of us know how it feels to be forced out of our homes." Maryam looked at the man, her arms folded instinctively across her chest, wincing as she moved. Her chest was still sore, but she could feel the muscle mending itself, piecing flesh back together under her dark skin. If it was not for this man, the wolf would be bleeding out in the snow. "This man could be a valuable asset, seeing as he knows the land and has medical experience. He also took the time to assist us, rather than ignoring our situation. Personally, I think it is in our best interest to let him stay, rather than make an enemy out of ." Pausing, she turned her gaze to her alpha. "Though ultimately, that is for Jonathan to decide, based on the opinion of the pack." Resting her case, Maryam finished her wine. She had to restrain herself from pouring another glass. It was all she wanted right now, but she needed to control herself. One glass was enough for now. She adjusted the collar of her gray hoodie out of habit, covering the part of her neck that hosted her scars. She didn't even think about it any more, it was a subconscious action for her.

Sergei's jaw twitched and clenched as his alpha made his suggestion and then whispered in his hear. "Da." Was all he replied as he took the glass of whatever was in it. He could already smell the bitter concoction and his nose wrinkled, making his expression that much more frustrated looking. He felt Nicole nudge him, he dropped his sour expression and he placed his free hand between her shoulder blades so she could lead him to the stairs. When they began climbing the stairs, he let Nicole go ahead as he shuffled slowly up, free hand grasping the railing so hard his knuckles went white. Eventually he was up the stairs and felt for Nicole, finding her muzzle first. Just to tease her, he scratched her head and behind her ears real quick with a small smile. "I will wait outside room while little hedgehog changes." He said. Even though he was blind, he didn't want to be in the same room where his imagination could get a little creative. His alpha wouldn't really appreciate such an action either, he was sure. "I will give drink to you once you have finished as well." He nodded, trying to speak in her direction but really was facing the wall.

Laire MacLain

She watched Nicole and Sergei leave before turning to look at Maryam as she spoke her opinion about the matter of recruiting yet another person in the same day. After she rested her case, Laire spoke up, looking from her alpha to James and back. "Rey says he's good and Mary has a point but how are we to know he hasn't changed since Rey left? I'm not saying he necessarily has ill intentions against us; he seems to have striven against such notions but he has withheld information in the first go from us and he could be hiding other things." Laire looked back at James, a bit accusingly mixed with some scrutiny. It wasn't in her character to go against someone but this man should prove he was trustworthy if she was going to rely on him as a fellow pack mate. She sighed and sat back, looking to all her pack mates before finally resting her eyes on Jonathan. "His talents are valuable but he should prove some loyalty or trust towards us...to you." The ginger crossed her arms and continued to watch the conversation in silence.

James Law

James shrugged to Jonathan as his sister left him alone. "I'm not here to directly help the other pack in this area. They were assholes to me when I came about. I'm here to lower the population of hunters substantially. You know why there are so many here? Their base is some hundreds of miles away from this exact location." He pointed in the north western direction.

He waited for the two young women to say their piece, though it was a bit naive on the ginger's part. James sighed. "I'm not bargaining here, but regardless if you accept me or not, I'll show you the large tunnels underground that lead from this mansion and deeper into the forest so you don't get anymore visitors. Visitors meaning hunters. You left tracks everywhere outside." He gestured to the window. "If they had back up, we would be under siege right now. How's that for loyalty?" He looked at Laire with a raised eyebrow. "But the rest of you should have your say. If it is indeed nay in the end, I will leave and show you how some things work before going if it is too awkward to have a rogue in the midst of a pack. But I appreciate the concern for my housing."

Sil Mulier

Sil looked between her packmates with an eyebrow raised, uncertain as to how the situation would play out. She remained calm, as usual, since that was her forte, as was calming the others, helping them control their wolf. This little episode had gone on far enough with her, Sil decided, and she stood, keeping the blanket wrapped around her. Nicole was the only person - er, wolf - who was having problems with James, it seemed, other than Laire, so Sil figured she'd go up and see the girl, check to make sure she was okay. She grabbed an apple from the basket on the counter, knowing Laire hated vegetables and was instead getting her some fruit, then walked up the stairs in her blanket, the fleece wrapped around her like a towel. She saw Sergei outside the room, facing the wall. He's being quite polite, even though he can't see.. Sil thought to herself with a faint smile.

Sil approached Sergei and tapped him lightly on the shoulder before speaking. "You're facing the wall, Sergei." Sil spoke quietly, a smile heard in her voice. She knew he still couldn't see, and that she was the cause of it, but she didn't want that to be noticed in her voice. However, she was quite appreciative of his lack of sight. Her lip quivered slightly before she spoke again, a shuddering breath coming from her. "Um..I brought an apple for Nicole, I wanted to see how she was doing and if she had calmed down. If you'll hold onto the apple, I'm going to get into some clothing and then come back, okay?" She spoke in a relaxed tone, having controlled her voice for the time being. She held the apple against his arm in a lightly prodding fashion so that he'd know where the bright red fruit was located.

Stephan had plenty of things to say to this lone wolf, or whatever she called herself. He personally believed she was an abomination to everyone and really just deserved to die right then and there. Giving up on her, he turned around and left, shrugging in average size shoulders as he left. He didn't want to be bothered by someone so infuriating anymore. There was no point to, she was never going to get it through her thick skull and arrogant mind from what she believed in and there was no changing the sick mind of hers either.

Turning around, he left. Walking his way back through the woods and in the direction of their new home. Climbing into the window of his bedroom that he picked, not wanting to deal with the trouble of walking through the door and getting shit from everyone about leaving the house without the precious buddy system. Laying in bed, he heard noises coming from downstairs and walked down to check it out.

From there he saw a new guy. Boy, did I miss a lot, he thought, as he stood at the top of the steps, looking down at the others. He configured that they were determining the fate of this guy, who most likely wanted to join and he was justifying why he should be able to be there. He lid low, not wanting to be a part of it, but he could tell something went wrong and some of them were conflicted upon his arrival.

Nikki was walking with him, before he gave her permission that she could go up the stairs without him, which she did, but she stopped at the top and sat down. Waiting for Sergei, staring at him as he walked carefully up the steps, step by step, until he was in front of her. Once she was satisfied him his stair climbing, she trotted along to her room, making sure the blind man was following, she waited at the door. Once he stopped, he felt that she was there, slightly annoyed by him treating her like a dog, mainly to tease her, but still mad her slightly cringe, hating the small felling of being treated like a puppy. If they every gave her dog, she wouldn't have it.

Glad that the door was open, she tried to nudge him that he was facing the wall, but it wouldn't be any use since she was an animal and he was in human form, which didn't work until after she was dressed. Changing quickly into her human form, she closed the door and walked around her room naked as Rufus from Kim Possible. Stopping at her bags, she pulled out all the types of clothing she needed, panties, shirt, shorts and bra and put them on. Just as she was about to open the door she heard Sil outside her door talking to Sergei, so she just stood there to listen, but it seemed she didn't reveal want she wanted to talk about to her to Sergei, so she just waited until Sil left to change, brushing her hair.

Walking out, her hair brushed and she was dressed, she stopped next to Sergei. "I was going to tell you that were facing the wall but Sil beat be to it. It wasn't like I could exactly tell you being still the pure white colored wolf I am," she said, not really needing to say the pure white part, but she did anyway.

Jonathan sat there and waited for everyone's response as they gave it. He saw each of their points and understood their concerns. Thinking about everything for a minute, including James's call of loyalty, he gathered his thoughts in his head. "Okay, I have come to a small conclusion, hopefully to keep everyone happy, but mos importantly safe, I have decided to give him a trial," he started, keeping Laire's idea to show loyalty in mind. "This trial will last a few days and in that time you have prove loyalty to not only me, but this pack and not just by those tunnels," he answered. "Based on your actions and how much you've shown me will base your spot in the pack. So for now, you are one of us." he concluded, facing James and staring at him.

She flickered into her wolf form, eyes following the pack-rat with steel bars guarding the pupils. Caspian breathed out, air flicking between her sharp teeth, corroding in the air and falling towards the ground. In her mind she had already left the house where the pack resided, she was finding a place to curl against the sedentary cold night. But a small crevice in her heart caused her paws to cement to the forest's moss. She missed that life, not the ever present ruling of authority and the intrusion of her thoughts, but the warmth and companionship...the conversation. Her eyes, though guarded, refused to blink, the conflict roiling inside of her, yin-yanging stabs in her stomach.

--They have a fire...or just the thought to bring them warmth...NO.--

Her massive head shook, lips curling back. A primordial, guttural noise escaped from her jaws, mucked with feelings.

--All of them. They are the same. They commit others to a slave-existence. They shouldn't have brought their filth into my home.--

She turned, stalking away with long strides. Her eyes glinted against the moonlight as she weaved among the trees.

--I will kill them all.--
