Fantasy | A Bloody Betrayal |Werewolf Pack

Jonathan Christopher Ambrose

Jonathan walked inside quickly grabbing something quickly for her to wear. Finding something of his sister's, he walked back to the porch. Closing his eyes he handed her the clothes he borrowed from his sister.

"We can fix that problem of changing back naked," He stated, thinking that it might be the reason that she is resisting something.

Turning around to give her privacy and suggested that the others do so to. "Tell me when you are done."

Lilly blinked when the gurl gave her the jacket then stood up and quickly pulled on the clothes the alpha had handed her...he was respectful and had closed his eyes, she shivered again though in the cold and pulled the jacket on over her. Now wearing what seemed to be a simple pair of jeans, and a T-shirt... With the jacket on she swallowed and took a moment to stretch before tapping Johnathan on the shoulder since she knew she would studder if she said anything.

She messed with her wild hair as she stood on the porch, noticing she didn't have any shoes she wiggled her toes and saw a bird fly by which made her stop fiddling with her hair and look up. Lilly then shoved her hands in the pockets of the jacket and looked back down, not maintaining eyesight with anyone on the porch her stomach grumbled for a third loud rumbling time.

Jonathan Christopher Ambrose

Jonathan waited until she gestured that she was dressed. He was polite about that stuff, growing up with a little sister it kinda came to him. It was not something that he he wanted to see and he knew girls didn't want every guy to see.

Felling her tap his shoulder, he turned around. He was satisfied that he guess that Nicole and her were relatively the same size. Looking around real quick, before looking at her. "Let's go inside to eat," he suggested, leading her inside.

Waking through the house and to the kitchen. He let her pick what she wanted to eat. Looking around, he spotted his remaining pop-tart. Picking the plate up, he looked at the new girl to the others in the room and back at her. He wasn't sure if Xetari would enjoy the fact he invited her in, but he figured he would have to deal with it.

Sergei Blackwood

He nodded at her polite apology, his hurt feelings over dominance eased. He could understand being on edge in this new environment but six years of being in 'safe houses' he found himself had made him used to such things. Sergei returned her smile faintly if only to be cordial to her for trying. "I don't think I could stop you even if I tried." He again noted her eyes changing back to blue as she took control over her wolf. "You are welcome to come with." He frowned when she refused the plate of food. There was plenty more in the house, he had personally made sure of it since everyone had the appetite of..well, wolves. He shoved the plate towards Sil just as the changed female came onto the porch with Jonathan and changed to her human form. "Yes, strong we need to be. You more than most." He forced the plate into her hands after she gave her jacket to the naked girl.

Out of respect he did not stare at the nudity; Sergei was neither a milkmaid nor was he a bloody nosed pervert but he was still a man. He turned obligingly at Jonathan's closed eyes request and turned to face the wall as the girl dressed. Her stomach growling had him turn, a gruff expression on his face, still wary of her being a troublemaker.
"Come, little mouse. There is feast for plenty inside." He opened the door and waved his arm for her to enter, looking down at her sternly but without any malice. He turned to Silva and nodded to the plate. "You will eat that if you want to hunt."

Sergei then turned his attention back to Jonathan. "I know you want the hunters to scout, but can you make the exception for Xetari, Silva, and I to hunt and scout tonight? To relieve some pent up steam as well." He glanced at Sil before returning his gaze back to his Alpha respectfully. "Maybe we give hunters rest tonight by doing this." He allowed his hopeful tone to emerge but Jonathan went inside to lead the girl in. Sergei's jaw twitched but he looked at Sil. He sighed and forced his anger down for good humor and bowed before her. "After you, my lady." He gestured for her to enter.

As Lilly passed by the guy holding open the door she shuddered under his stare and quickly got inside, as the alpha led her into the kitchen she looked to each of the other werewolves and took a step away from each of them. Staying silent she swallowed and hesitantly inched over to the pantry before opening the door and peaking inside, quickly she grabbed the box of cherry Pop-tart's and closed the pantry. For a moment she scanned the nutritional facts before sitting down right where she was crossing her legs and opening the box pulling out a silver package she opened that as well and pulled out the Pop-tart, she bit down on the soft pastry reading the back of the box as she munched quietly.

Lilly soon finished her Pop-tart's and pulled out a second package before pushing the box away and opening the second bag, she began munching on her next set of Pop-tart's. The whole time she hadn't taken her eyes off the box, so she wouldn't have to look at any of the other wolves, though she felt their strong presence which made her shudder again and she pulled her legs up to her chest ate she ate. After dusting her face, shirt and lap to get rid of the crumbs she grabbed the box and her trash before standing up, putting away the Pop-tart's, throwing away her trash and going back where she was before. She sat back down and hugged her knees to her chest making herswlf smaller she rested her chin on her knees and stared at the floor, making herself look as small as she could.

Sil Mulier

Sil raised an eyebrow at Sergei when he forced the plate into her hands, but didn't protest. She took it gratefully, appreciating his offer and kindness. She turned when the girl changed, plate in hand, and scooped some of the food into her mouth using the fork on the plate, not caring that it had been previously used. When the female finished changing, Sil turned along with Sergei and John, watching the werewolf enter the mansion behind their Alpha. Sergei looked back at Sil and told her that in order to her to accompany them she had to eat, so in between swallowing and another bite she stuck her tongue out at him and took another bite, the warm food welcome to her taste buds. The food was wonderful, causing SIl to wonder if Sergei himself made it.

Sil's eyes remained on the petite female as she entered the mansion up until the girl left Sil's view, where Sil then redirected her gaze to Sergei as he asked the Alpha about their hunt. She finished the plate quickly, thinking about what they were going to do. Hunt, scout out the area, mostly the job of the hunters, but it could also be considered a job for the Protectors as well. When John left the porch with the newcomer, Sil chuckled faintly to herself and spoke to Sergei after he bowed to her in a joking manner. She curtsied faintly to him before walking through the open door, thanking him. Her upper half was cold at that point, since the air outside was below freezing, so she rubbed her arms in an attempt to warm herself up again. Turning to Sergei, she shrugged and spoke, "I am sure he will allow it, as he is preoccupied and the others need to rest and become more accommodated with our new location. You made the food, correct? It was wonderful, and I thank you. I will choose a room and begin to Change, if I am not needed for anything else?" Sil ended her dialogue in question, asking if Sergei needed anything else before she left to Change in her painful manner.

Xetari Kane

Xetari jerked back in surprise and tried to resist choking as the foreign taste of bacon hit his mouth. He sputtered and pushed Laire off of him, gently, and started laughing. His laughter sounded rough and raspy from lack of use. He looked Laire right in the eyes and gulped down the bacon. It tasted disgusting going down his throat but he was starting to think that it was all mental. After all, it was still animal flesh that he was eating. It was the stench of humans that lingered on it that made him feel sick.

He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand in the process smearing the dirt on his face. He leered down at Laire and breathed into her face as he spoke, "
Apparently, I don't like the taste of the finer things in life. I like to eat like an animal. Although, that bacon did have a unique flavor." He winked at Laire to ensure her that he wasn't angry. It was nice to joke around with someone for once. It had been years since he felt comfortable doing that with someone.

He turned to look at Nicole and in a more serious tone replied, "
You're welcome to join the hunt, Nicole. I'm sure Jonathan knows you will be safe with us." He bared his teeth at her in a leer, his dark course eyebrows meeting over his eyes which remained soft as he looked at her. He knew her importance to his alpha and the protection of her was one of his top priorities.

At this point, the newcomer had entered the kitchen and Xetari bristled at the change of scent. He could smell her fear which radiated off of her in waves. He turned to face her slowly, knowing he looked a fright but could not help is overall presence. His eyes narrowed down at her and he crossed his arms over his chest which made the seams of his jacket strain to the point of ripping. He didn't speak to her, still keeping one ear to his conversation with Nicole and Laire, but appraising the newcomer with serious eyes.

Sergei Blackwood

Sergei watched Sil warm her arms up as he closed the door behind him. He looked at his own arms but barely a hair stood on end. Mentally shrugging, he returned his attention back to the Beta as she spoke to him. She seemed more warm spirited with warm food in her belly. He unwillingly smiled sheepishly when she complimented him on his cooking. When she asked her question, Sergei paused. It almost seemed like she wanted to prolong the inevitable but he could force such self torture to someone. He shook his head, an apologetic glint in his eye. "No, I do not think you will enjoy cleaning up after seven werewolves. I think it's best for you to get the Change over with before it gets too much colder and more difficult."

He returned to the kitchen to find much of his meal consumed to his pride. He frowned when he saw the new girl basically curled up in a ball, surrounded by two pop tart wrappers. Sergei felt a sense of insult. Was it not his glorious bacon that led her here? Or had it been chance? He wasn't sure how to approach the situation but he did so anyways and crouched down in his big form a few feet in front of the new girl, peering at her. "Do you not like what I made, little mouse?"

Laire MacLain

Laire grinned as he pushed her away but it ebbed from her face when she watched him swallow, a look of distaste upon his face. She swallowed herself when he loomed over her, causing her to lean back. She knew he meant no harm, but damn, he could still be intimidating. The ginger winced as his breath washed over her. The guy needed to use toothpaste...in fact, he needed to utilize the entirety of the bathroom's uses but she wouldn't say it out loud. It was rude and she didn't want him to really loom over her.

She relaxed when he winked. Laire was being honest when she said she didn't quite understand dark tempered people. But he seemed to be enjoying her jests and that was what mattered. She cleared her throat and beamed, "Glad you found the experience interesting." She looked over to Nicole as Xetari turned to her and invited her on the apparent hunt that the male protectors had been developing. Knowing the question wasn't really directed to her, Laire answered anyway. "I'm going to sit this one out. I'm going to stuff myself later so I get into a food coma and take a twelve hour snooze." She stood from her stool and stretched, finally noticing the new girl. Xetari had her distracted enough that she had missed her Alpha entering the kitchen as well as Sergei, who was seemingly pouting and taking his feelings out on the cowering girl. She shoved him away before he gave the girl a heart attack and shooed him off. "Go do the dishes or something, Cinderella." She ordered then turned back to the girl and sat criss-cross in front of her. She obsereved the box of pop tarts and beamed at the girl kindly. "Hiya. Don't mind the big bod of man pride there. Don't mind any of the men, actually." She leaned in slightly and lowered her voice. "They all have sensitive man feelings." She grinned as she sat back once more. "I'm Laire. I also like cherry pop tarts. What's your name?" She held out her hand gently, in case the girl was willing to shake it in greeting.

Lilly shuddered and hid her face as the big guy from the pot h crouched in front of her asking about the food he have made she stayed quiet. I would have eaten it, if I didn't have all these people staring at me...the big one in the corner seems to be almost glaring, I'm trying not to set these people off. She thought knowing none of them could hear her thoughts.

Then the girl with bright red hair shoved the big guy away and called him Cinderella which made her giggle softly. Then the girl amstarted talking to her and she watced her intently paying attention. Once the girl asked for her name she swallowed and tried not to waver, though she tried to make her voice loud enough for everyone to hear. " My n-name is Lillianna, but everyone j-just calls me L-lilly ". Lilly mentally scolded herself for studdering and some of her hair fell in front of her face which she moved away.

With that one guy staring her down in the back she shuddered again and dared to looked up and around the room to each person takingnin features and scents, picking them out and assigning them to the right person. She figured out possible flaws and ways she could use certain martial arts moves on them, though after a minute of that she began to blush and she averted her eyes back to the floor. As she hugged her knees she tapped on her thigh matching the pace of her heart, her finger getting slower as she relaxed a bit more around the werewolves.... But she was sure if any of them moved towards her her heart rate would definitely go up.

Jonathan Christopher Ambrose

Turning his attention to Sergei whom called for it he listened to what the slightly older male had to say. As the Russian talked, he slightly nodded in agreement. He was 't expecting and immediate scouting trip, he was going to let them settle in first anyway, at least for a day or two. "Yes, I believe you can, but watch out for each other," he commanded.

Glancing over at the new girl, he watched her eat. He noted her isolating herself from the others and her actions that blasted all signs that she was frightened. He kind of felt smypathy towards her, she found herself in the middle of a pack, half having their guards up and looking like they are going to kill her and the other half wanting to help her but their attempts are lacking.

He seemed to be the only one to really get through to her, even a little bit. Noting she was finished, he looked at the others, making sure no one else needed him and was about to walk over when he noticed Sergei try, it then Laire move him aside to do so herself. He decided to watched from a distance, leaning against the wall as he watched Laire slowly get through to her. It was a good thing, but remained watchful in case anything happened.

Nicole Marie Ambrose

Nicole finished eating all the food she had put on her plate and moved to the sink, placing the dirty dish in it before going back to her seat, listening to the others and glancing at the new girl every once in a while.

Listening to Laire decide that she was just going to settle in the house more than hunt tonight she thought all was lost. She was planning on letting some lose tensio.n go by Changing and having some fun. Or at least she thought she did until Xetari her a way out.

"It's not my protection he is completely worried about when I am with you guys," Nicole started, thinking she would be able to go, but her brother would have one of the guys close to her the whole time.

Xetari Kane

Xetari met the stare of the new wolf with an even smile which loomed on his face like a leer. He jumped down from his chair, letting his eyes slide slowly over her one more time, before he turned his back to look out the window. The night sky had fallen over the landscape casting shadows in the trees. He felt a shudder roll down his spine and out towards his arms. The wolf inside him was calling and it would not be denied much longer. The moon hovered on the edge of the horizon as it moved slowly into position in the night sky. His eyes darkened as he observed the crest of the moon and his hands balled into fists at his sides. Releasing a gruff sigh of impatience, he turned to face the rest of the group. His tangled mass of hair bounced in its leather strap with each movement, strands falling loose to stick to the side of his greasy face. He knew he needed to wash but he would attend to that when he turned into the animal he was born o be.

Like many of the others, Xetari vividly remembered the day of his first transformation. But he was young, quite young when he was turned. He was only five when the incident happened and his parents, seeking revenge, were turned right after. The wolf that turned him had a theory which proved to be right the more Xetari aged. Bite them young, get the animal blood in them young, and they will grow to be more wolf than human. The stluggle of the two forms were always at the cusp of battle inside him and today was no different. He shrugged off his ragged jacket and swung it carelessly on a hook near the entrance to the kitchen. Flexing his muscles and examining the dirt smeared on his upper torso, he let his gaze slide to Nicole, "Well, if you think you can handle joining us, then by all means you must come along." His teasing tone lost its lilt by the end of the sentence and he let hang in the air, solidifying into silence. Before anyone could respond, he marched out onto the porch, the dry mud on his boots leaving behind a spotted trail on the pastel floor as he went. As the night hair hit his face, he felt the call of the wolf even stronger and he put both hands out to grasp the railings of the porch to steady himself as he waited.

Nicole Marie Ambrose

Nicole looked at the new girl, Lily as she called herself gathering that as she talked to Laire. From what she has seen of Lily, they only thing she really can do is run, mainly for her life as she has gathered. If she were to join, the girl is unskilled for one, so unskilled that it would take too much time, time they didn't have to train her. There was no guarantee that by the time that they go for their first kill that she would be skilled enough not to get them all killed. She was a ticking time bomb made by accident. For another thing, she is too frantic, just seeing the Nicole was enough for her to want to curl up and hide. There was too much trust making to be made and without trust, and a lot of fear, that could end badly for someone, really bad. Nikki didn't believe that she should join at the particular moment. She had nothing against her, she was probably a good person and all, but she was a risk that her brother would be stupid enough to let in, because he had this instinct inside. She wasn't even sure if she was going to let him make it.

Looking back at Xetari, she nodded. She was planning on coming along, knowing her brother was too busy enough to worry about every little mistake Nicole cold make by going out, plus he should have enough trust in the other guys to trust her with them and to trust that they would prevent her from doing anything,
anything stupid or risky. He had to, they were the only two possible being that probably could if they tried, they had the strength to and hopefully the clear mind and intelligence not to fall for anything. Sil wouldn't be enough for her, she would figure out how to break free, not to mention, being around the same size, Sil would only be able to hold her for a certain period of time before giving in for tiredness.

Growing bored of the kitchen scene, she walked out, passing her brother, and outside on the porch under the night sky. Standing herself next to Xetari, whom she recognized was just waiting for the Change to take over, she looked up at the stars, thinking about everything, but mainly about her brother and her parents. She always wondered about the life after death. If they remember? If they watch over you, like they say they will? Is their really anything? Questions like that made their way into her head, not really knowing how or why. Glancing at Xetari, she wondered what to say, or how to start a conversation. She knew they were speaking before, she just didn't know what to say now.

Sil Mulier

Sil nodded at Sergei's response, her lips pursed together in a thin line. He knew that she hated Changing, since it was extraordinarily painful for her. Why, she didn't know, but the fact still stood and she had to face that pain head on. She watched Sergei leave, chuckling faintly to herself after realizing he had smiled when she mentioned the cooking being his and tasting so good. After another moment of lingering in the lobby, not wanting to venture upstairs, Sil took the steps two at a time until she reached the expansive second floor.

She walked down the hallways, smelling a couple of the wolves' rooms thanks to their scents being present. Xetari's scent was vaguely everywhere, leading Sil to assume he checked each room to ensure safety. Sil smiled to herself again, her scarf hanging loosely around her neck as she exploited, searching for a room that would suit her. Once she came upon her determined room, she began undressing, leaving the door open so she could leave in her wolf form. The room was almost entirely white, with light blue accents all over the rim, reminding Sil of the snow she was about to embrace once more. After removing all of her clothing, folding them neatly, and placing them on the bed, she rejoiced her belly button piercing, placed it on the vanity, and began to Change, her eyes now their bright, wolfish, green.

The process was awful. During every second of the Change, Sil could feel her bones moving, changing shape, and thickening, becoming the skeleton of a wolf. Her muscles changed along with the bones, causing a burning sensation to run through her body. After several minutes of transformation, the black wolf was lying on her stomach, whimpering from the pain of the Change. Werewolves were much larger than normal wolves, but they still had the same canine features. She rubbed her nose with her slender paw before standing and keeping a stoic stance, determined not to reveal the amount of pain she was in. Sil left her new room and padded down the hallway, her task moving back and forth slightly behind her as she walked. She passed the kitchen by, not wanting to approach the new female I'm her wolf form, worried that she might frighten the newcomer. Rather than remain in the mansion, Sil went to the porch, where Xetari was waiting. She let out a huff at the eager tall male before sitting on the top step of the porch, her black cost blending in with the night air. She looked at the male, her vivid green eyes telling him that he could Change when ready. Sil noticed Nicole beside him and nodded her head to the female, telling her the same. She hoped Nicole wouldn't be too reckless this time around, since her Alpha blood prevented her from listening to Sil's position as for long. Even though Nicole wasn't an Alpha, she mimicked her brother's behaviour often.

Xetari Kane

Xetari sensed Nicole walk out on the porch behind him and he remained quiet for a moment. He felt the call of the animal pull through him, running deep through his bones. He could smell her discontent on the air which told him she was dwelling on something morbid. He had no words to deal with those kind of emotions. After all, he barely could deal with his own. He let his breath out fast through his nose in a huff and spun around to face her. Taking a finger and poking her lightly on the nose, he waggled his eyebrows at her, "Hey Nicole, you going to come wolf it out with us or what?" He grinned crookedly at her and in one leap flipped backwards off the porch.

In that moment as he flew through the air, he succumbed to the change. As always the pain was excruciating. He could feel his bones snapping and reforming underneath his flesh. His heart contracted as it reformed and begun to beat harder and faster The silver glow of the moon faded into black as he felt his eyesight changing. It morphed and twisted until he thought he would scream in agony. He could feel his spine snapping back into place and his claws shooting from his hands which were now paws. It felt as if his lungs were passing through a tight space, constricting tighter, and tighter until it was done. In a moment he blinked and the stars exploded back into the heavens. He landed on all four paws and shook out his mass of tangled fur. In light irritation he noticed the remains of his ripped jeans lingering on the lawn. Bits of torn black denim fluttered softly in the breeze. He let his breath in a huff and arched his spine up tall. His black fur suited him in the night. It was not a shiny ebony but a dull onxy that did not reflect the light. Instead of glowing in the moonlight it absorbed the light that fell on it and cloaked him in shadow. He lifted his eyes to meet Sil's and lowered himself to his haunches. Even sitting back on his haunches, he was massive. All muscle and tall limbs, his strength was his biggest asset. But every wolf has their weakness and he knew his agility was not the height of his power. That was fine by Xetari, he never intended to let his prey have the chance to run away from him once he had it in his clutches.

He regarded Sil carefully, the two of them made a good team when hunting together at night time. Their black pelts cast them into the shadows and it was easier to hunt their prey. As always, when in his wolf form he had a hard time reminding himself of his humanity. All he wanted to do was rip and tear out the hearts of humans and litter the forest floor with their pieces. Just in the same way they had torn out his when they took his parents from him.

Sergei Blackwood

Sergei scowled at Laire before turning to the sink and indeed began straightening it up. He grumbled to himself in Russian again about women. As he cleaned, he overheard that Nicole would be coming along as well and sighed. There went a quiet hunt. No doubt the Alpha's younger sister would be a bit wild and wanting to lose some steam over the anxiety of the new recruit.

He finished cleaning just as he smelled three familiar scents that were more wolf than human. Still, the Russian wanted in on the hunt and he had a gut feeling that he might be needed. Following Sil's example, he climbed the stairs and entered his room, closing the door and opened his window. Sergei then stripped and folded his clothes military style on his bed despite their uncleanliness and began the Change.

The wolf wasn't far off as usual and he began Changing instantly. His face turned red and shook as his torso warped and his bones broke and reformed. His eyes went amber and his vision went black as he fell to the ground on all fours, a dark gray timber pattern of fur growing at a quick rate out of his body. He finally shouted out in pain that turned into a howl as his snout formed. Finally, it was over and the bulky werewolf lumbered over to the window and jumped out, landing before the porch with snow crunching under his massive pads.

Sergei did not look at his fellow packmates as he examined the treeline with his sharpened vision, always looking for threats as he padded to the edge of the forest. A deep hunger surged in the protector but he ignored it, ashamed of the weakness in his beast side. He swung his head to , finally satisfied with their current safety. His eyes rested mainly on the Beta as he waited for her to act, her position giving her rights to lead this hunt. He sent a clear message from his body language to his packmates: Are we going to hunt or not?

Laire MacLain

Laire smiled at Lily. At least she was talking. "Nice to meet you, Lily." The red head regarded her for a moment longer. She seemed to be cautious and frightened by everyone in the pack. This made Laire purse her lips, her brows furrowing in pure concern. "Lily. You need not fear us. You're a part of the pack now. We'll help you, train you, and protect you." She turned her head to look at Jonathan. "He's a good Alpha. You shouldn't feel oppressed or have any qualms against how he leads us. He's quite savvy and loyal." She winked at him before turning back to Lily. Laire took a deep breath through her nose, analyzing the knew members scent. "You haven't been a werewolf long. When were you bitten?" If they could find out how young her beast side was, it would become easier to train her.

Lilly could smell the scent of three wolves now and she glanced towards the direction of the door before looking back to Laire. After a moment of trying to word her answer correctly she took a deeo breath in through her nose and let it out slowly through her mouth to calm herself down so her voice wouldn't waver and she would show as much weakness, her tapping slowed down to a calm heart rate and she relaxed letting her wolf side make her more familiar with scents and try and feel comfortable around the other werewolves. Finally she answered her question, " I've only... Changed, three times. The first time was a little over a month ago on the full moon, I had been bitten two weeks before that. The second time was when I was in town...a guy got a bit... T-touchy. And the third time was out in the front yard of this mansion. So I haven't been...like this for a very long time. " Lilly was glad to get that all out of her system, this was the first person who she had told.

Her muscles unclenched and she seemed much more relaxed with her surroundings, her fear was cut away from her natural scent or lavender, honeysuckle and mint. It was a pleasant scent that she had always found matched her personality just right, sweet with a bite. The thought made her smile and she pulled her hair out of her face sitting with her legs crossed she leaned forwards supporting her front half by placing both hands on the ground between her legs...the pose was cute and she kept her eyes on Laire.
" I've never seen another werewolves before, much less talk to one. And I definitely haven't been in a pack. I know I still need to work on the whole changing into a wolf thing, but I'm good at smelling stuff. " Lilly was happy to be able to express herself to at least one person, so it wouldn't be crowded. Though she was excited and would calm down later, it was obvious she didn't have much human interaction so this made her pay more attention to them not being fully human, but wolves as well. So she wouldn't studder or waver as much, since she could relate...they all ahd wild instincts, she just needed to control her's. Even if her actions at the moment made her seem like an omega she didn't care.

Sil Mulier

Sil turned her black wolf head from Xetari after nodding in approval to face Sergei, who landed in the snow in his grey wolf form, about as large as Xetari. When he gave her a somewhat impatient look, she let out a faint huff before gesturing her dark head towards Nicole, indicating that they were waiting for her. Sil admired the two larger wolves, marveling at their fur colored as she usually did, since she appreciated wolf form more than human form.

Xetari was a black coal color, similar to Sil. The two of them were great at hunting during the night thanks to their shape-colored fur, and were a good team because of her speed and his strength. Sergei was one of the other pack members that focused on strength, and his grey colours made the dark and the snow good allies for him. Sil let out a howl, feeling the pull of the forest and the will of the hunt calling to her, and she impatiently pieced back and forth between her two larger packmates.

Nicole continued thinking since no one was talking. She was beginning to hate silence, sometimes, around her pack mates. It was sometimes unnerving, especially around more than one when it came to that. She knew that they agreed with her brother about a lot of things, especially about her. The fact that she remains is because of her brother. He is the reason she wasn't forced to leave nor the reason why she just didn't pack her bags and go. The only reason.

Hearing the Beta walk in behind her, she turned around catching the gesture that she could Change now, she nodded. Taking a deep breath, she nodded again, though she had no idea why. Watching her breath disappear into the air, she saw Xetari change and then Servei, who happened to appear out of no where. She had no idea why she was a bit hesitant to Change, she never was before. She was usually so eager and be the first one, but today something was different and she would like to be the first one to know why.

Looking T her Beata again, with the many indications they were waiting on her, she stood up on the railing and flung herself into the air. As she flung herself, she Changed, though unlike the others, the pain didn't bother her much anymore. The pain just grew less and less and she continued changing. It was still there, just became more and more bearable as time went on.

Crunching the snow undead watch her, she was now and all white wolf standing before the others. It was more noticeable than a black one, but she took after her mother, so she got the target coat as she sometimes likes to call it. But she figured with the snow on the ground, it wouldn't be so much of a hassle. Plus they were hunting animals and scouting how close humans were, which wasn't that close, maybe a few miles.

Looking at the others, she nodded slightly, notifying that she was ready to go.

Xetari Kane

Xetari shook out his pelt and began to pace back and forth. The animal courses through his veins making the edges of his vision blur back and forth. He shook his head again and again. He began his inner monologue to remind himself of his humanity. He thought of his parents. He thought of his childhood friends. He thought of laughter at the amusement park. He thought of the most recent rock concert he attended. He thought of the earlier laughter in the kitchen with his pack. Humanity was a precious concept and each time he changed he felt it slipping away from him. His large paws padded back and forth in the grass and the moisture from the night dew clung to his claws.

And just as sudden as the feelings overcame him, the wind changed. In that moment he no longer knew his name. He had no name. He had no family. He had no human cares. All he cared about was the hunt, the smell of meat on the breeze. There was the scent of blood in the distance and for reasons he could not explain, the scent drove him deeper into his animal form. The wolf in him knew that he ought not to take off without the pack beta, without his pack to back him up, but for that instant he was all wolf. He flew back his head and let out a howl of sorrow, of apology, of regret for the beast he was becoming. Without a backwards glance at his pack, his instinct took over and he went tearing through the forest, skidding dirt into the air behind him.

Sil Mulier

Once Nicole had Changed, Sil was ready and was about to howl to let the others know to start the hunt before they visit the humans, but Xetari took off ahead of time, causing Sil to snarl slightly. Her snarl indicated that she was annoyed, and she knew she would have to go find him later and bring him back to the pack, assuming he's let go of his humanity. However, Sil was itching to hunt, to find something to kill and devour, thanks to her wolf. Sil let out one last howl and darted into the wood of the trees, her black coat blending in with the darkness of the night and the deep shadows surrounding the wolves. Sil knew Nicole and Sergei would not be far behind, so she didn't slow down, but also didn't go at top speed. Sergei was large and not as fast, so Sil and Nicole couldn't hunt with their speed the way they normally did. His strength made up for it though, so Sil continued to bound ahead in search of prey.

Not long after Sil left from the mansion did she spot a deer not far off, along with a doe beside him. Sil slowed to a trot and crouched in the shadows, awaiting the arrival of her packmates. The deer and the doe had no idea Sil was crouched and waiting, as they grazed a little before they would head back to whatever warm location they stayed at. Sil snarled to herself quietly, the wolf in her itching to pounce, but the human in her becoming impatient as she waited for Sergei and Nicole. Sil was lowered on her haunches and waiting, eyeing the situation and any possible place that Sil and the others could trap the deer.

Lilly heard the howl and she felt a shudder run up her spine and she tensed her back stiffened and her smile was gone, she listened to the entire mournful howl. The wolf inside her felt the sorrow and she felt sadness rush all through her bones...her gums felt itchy as the wolf tried to force its way out she winced and with a gasp she stared at the ground wide eye'd. She held her own howk down and tried not to change as she remembered the pain it caused, and how easy it was to loose herself in its tempting feeling of power. As a wolf she had always felt stronger like she could do anything, flashes of memories danced in front of her eyes of when she first went through the beasts agony.

A rush of pain in the pit of her stomach, the sound of bones cracking and feeling them slowly grind down into place forcing her to her knees. A tail pluming out behind her, ears moving to the top of her head. Fur sprouting all over her body in a thick pelt once her bones where in place. Fangs and claws ripping out of her skin into her protruding muzzle and large paws. Roaming through the forest following the scent of any animal she could find, the village ahead of her. She heard the cut off screams of dying women, and men crying out with a broken heart as she had laid waste to villagers...taking lives for the rush of having their blood run through her teeth and down her throat. Fangs slicing easily through skin, flesh and bone....blood all over her muzzle and paws, staining her eyes...blood, blood was everywhere...flowing all around her from those she had killed.

Lilly snapped out of the memory and a rush of pain came over her making her back arch and her shoulders broaded ever so slightly, she felt the more she thought of the wolf the stronger it got. She growled and shook her head, no...she wasn't going to let that happen...this beast wouldn't win. She clenched her hands into fists and relaxed breathing harder than before she swallowed and let her breathing slow along with her heart rate.

" S-sorry, about that..." Was all Lilly said once she fully regained human control she sat up and scooted back till she leaned on the wall behind her still staring at the ground.

Sergei Blackwood

Sergei's ears straightened as he watched Xetari howl and run off before Sil gave directions. He wasn't necessarily concerned for his comrade besides the probable scolding he would gain later. Xetari could take care of himself, even if man had succumbed to the temptation of the wolf. Sergei turned to Sil to see her in the process of snarling in annoyance. His eyes flicked over to Nicole as the Beta howled and took off in a different direction, hungering for the hunt. The smaller females were faster and more agile, graceful if one put it simply, than Sergei was as he bounded after them. His coat rippled over his moving muscles as he basically plowed through the snow with ease. A fallen tree was in his way and he merely stepped on it with a forepaw, snapping it into two. He cringed, knowing stealth was key and hoped no prey had been scared off for the two females who ran deliberately slow for his sake, as he was the meat shield and fighter if they came upon any threats.

Sensing Sil had stilled in some cover, Sergei approached the clearing she was looking into slowly, spotting and smelling a deer and her doe. He crouched and padded around them till he was at an angle to Sil. Then, thinking of a plan, rare as it was, Sergei moved till he was on the opposite side of the clearing to the Beta. His plan: stand up and growl, sending the deer into the jaws of the Beta and hunter. He forced this message faintly through the mental connection of the pack, his abilities not as honed as the Alpha or Beta in mental connections. If they didn't approve of the plan, his position was strategic nonetheless. The deer could come his way or if there was an attacker sneaking up behind the females, he would be able to charge them.

Laire MacLain

Laire nodded at Lily and was about to speak when the familiar howl of Xetari carried through the house. Laire felt a strike of fear for the werewolf as his howl pierced her conscious. She began to feel a small sense of worry for him though she had no doubt he would live. But would he return? Then Lily began to Change, but the girl was resisting the beast. After Sil howled and the hunting party left, Laire smiled sympathetically. "Don't ever apologize for being yourself or what you can't control."

The red head stood and turned to Jonathan. "We need to teach her how to accept the beast first, I think. But its your call on what she should be trained on first. She does need to learn how to turn fluently and you're better at that." She addressed her Alpha respectfully, knowing his decision would have Lily's best interests at heart.

Jonathan noticed that some of his pack members were leaving, noting to himself who and what time they left to hunt. If they had left longer than expected, he would call to them, hoping they were to all come back in one piece. That's all he could do with Lily on his hands now. He would have to be in charge of training, knowing some of his pack members would like training, much less like her period with her being so timid and unpredictable.

Turning his attention to the girl, he watched a listened to her. She had a lot of work to do being so wolf young and being scared on top of that. He figured he could try to get the others to attempt to help her, knowing each of their strengths and possibly at least get her experienced in the category, but he wanted them to be willingly to do it, not liking to command them through his Alpha behavior. It didn't always seem right to him to physically control is pack.

Watching her, she noticed her response to the other Changing. "Force it away," he instructed. He knew if she let it, the wolf would easily take over and she would have no control over it and end up getting herself killed by his own pack. If she did survive, she would have no memory of it. If the wolf completely takes over with no sense of humanity, only the wolf part will remember what happens. It happened to Nicole a couple of times, mainly when she is angry.

Listening to Laire, he nodded in agreement. "No, you are right. She does. It would be safest for hers and us or one of us is going to be killed and I seriously doubt it will be us," he said. He thought Nikki could help with that, along with many things which would come later, because she knew how to Change and it didn't bother her much at all, though how was a question to him.

Nicole Marie Ambrose

Nicole watched as Xetari let his humanity disappear and the wolf take over completely, which was dangerous. Anything could happen, especially with his deep hatred towards humans if he lingeres far towards mundane scent, not to mention the memory he might not have of it. She was 't sure if he would have them, she did 't, her brothers didn't , many don't. But with him being more wolf than human all the time, she wasn't sure. She wasn't worried about his safety , she was worried about what he would do besides hunting because it can never be good.

Watching the Beta's reaction to Xetari's behavior, she wasn't a good sign. She was irritated and annoyed , scene from the signs of a growl. It also meant that Nikki would have to try to resist any urges to leave or have trouble find her, which is going to be a bit hard because it was rare for her to actually be a saint, at least the bible's definition of one even her brother's definition of one was hard to be and that is pretty easy.

After her Beta ran off, Nicole was't far behind. Well it would be hard for her to catch up anyways, but she kept at a bit slower pace so Sergei could keep up as all three of them ran together. Though she desperately wanted to run her full speed, she she flung dirt, leaves and snow behind her, crushing exposed roots, loose branches, sticks , etc underneath her. But she resisted, surprisingly.

Maryam Prim

Maryam panted, her breath sending out white clouds that dissolved into the cold winter air. Her muscles ached and she stretched to relief her back of the tension. The young wolf had gone on a run last night, her mind had become restless and she couldn't stay asleep. On reflection, it hadn't been the best of ideas. Hopefully, she could ignore the throb of her bones long enough finish the hunt. Really, all Maryam really wanted was a glass of wine and some time to read that morning, but she had duties to attend to. Quietly, she trailed Sergei to the edge of clearing. Maryam respected the younger wolf's tactics as a fighter, and admired his use of strategy. She nodded her approval and moved as quickly as she could to close any gap the deer could escape from. Her forte was more in strength than in speed, this she had learned over the years. So the she-wolf positioned herself so that if the others needed help to take the large creatures down, she would be able to spring in as quickly as she could.

Sil Mulier

Sil nodded to Sergei and nodded to Mary, who had just appeared beside Sergei in their hunt, apparently joining them. Nicole appeared beside Sil, and Sil lowered herself further, mentally giving Sergei the 'okay' signal, as well as Mary. Sil was still plenty irritated from Xetari's earlier behaviour and was definitely going to give him an earful once the two of them were human once more. A low growl rumbled in her throat, indicating that Sil's wolf side was beginning to take control of her human side, due to her hunger for the deer. Sergei and one of the females would get the deer, the other two females the doe. Sergei was now permitted to carry out his plan, and Sil was excited for the chase, if it came down to such.
