"On....y-yeah." He replied in a more somber tone,shifting hisd gaze to the floor as he did so. "By us I mean my mother, my sister and I. It's been some time now, but she ran off not too long after our mother died. I believe she is still in the city somewhere, but I have no idea...I get one phonecall a month from her if I'm lucky."

John said "Alright father, I will rest now." he then walked into the living room and then up the stairs to the second floor, he walked for a bit and then finally reached his room, he opened the door and then walked inside, the door shut behind him, John walked over to the closet and changed into some more casual clothes, he then slid inside the bed under the blanket and then turned on the TV, he then began watching news on it.

Vanessa nodded in yunderstanding as she stopped at a stop light and looked at him. "What was her name? I could find her for you if you want." She offered driving again, there were almost at Armorlenium.


 
Xavier nodded watching his son go to bed then whistled for his dog. He heard barking in the distance and the sound of nails scratching the floor as the dog came running in. "Good girl." He said petting the muscular dog's head. It was panting from that run and its tongue hanging out of its mouth as its stub of a tail wagged happily at its master affection.

"Her name is Alysson, but I don't think it's a good idea to find her. She said she was doing fine and wanted to stay out of my train wreck of a life and I don't blame her. Living the high life's gotta be loads better than trying to deal with a brother who's in so deep and living in a rathole of an apartment."

"Oh... Well on the bright side you won't always be living in a dump, with how much you make as a CEO now you'll have your debt to my father paid off in about 2 1/2 months. So take that in for a moment." She said smiling with cheery hope at him.

"Oh wow." He let out a big breath and clutched his chest. "Be more gentle when you drop news like that on a poor suffering guy! You'll give me a heart attack!" He laughed.

Vanessa chuckled as she pulled into Armorlenium's parking lot. "Sorry, I'll be more gentle next time." She snickered and parked. "They'll ask questions when you go in there, do you remember what you're supposed to answer with?" She asked turning in her seat and looking at him.

"Pretty sure I do. My head's a little fuzzy but I know not to answer with anything that will give me away or make people suspicious."

"Good." Vanessa said patting his shoulder. "Now get out there and don't give my family anymore reason to want to kill you." She said like that would make him more confident.

"Oh come on, you have to admit that this time wasn't my fault at all! I was sitting in my office quietly reading files like a good boy." He grinned. Straightening out his suit and fixing his hair.

Vanessa rolled her eyes as she snickered. "A good boy? Ha! I take it they found you before you found the secretary?" She teased then unlocked the door so he could get out.

"Oh right, that is exaaaactly what happened." He laughed. "I don't think I'll be sleeping with the secretary any time soon. Unless of course she wants a raise, I may have to strike some deal there." He joked as he stepped out of the vehicle.

Vanessa laughed softly at that. "I guess condoms will be your Christmas bonus then?" She said jokingly then waved him good bye. "See ya." She said then took off heading back to her father's home.

"If you want me to die of embarrassment that is. For now I'm gonna stick to waiting for the right one rather than being Mr. Playboy." He smiled happily and waved as she drove off. "See ya!" He called out. Then headed back into the office for the long line of questioning that was to come.

Vanessa went back to her father's place why she didn't really know, but while she was there she figured she might as well check up on her brother. Johnathan could text her if he still wanted to talk after work.

"Please, people...I've told you all the details already and I have a nasty headache. So just... leave me alone to rest already." He sighed heavily and pinched the bridge of his nose. He'd told the people at the desk to keep the press out after questioning. Yet, here was the fifth one in two hours.


"But!"


"But nothing! I gave you the details now scram!" He barked. The reporter gave him a nasty glare and turned away with a huff. Once they were gone he slammed his door shut and went straight back to the mini couch to try and sleep off the headache.

John woke up and then stood up from the bed, he was not the one to lay in bed all day long, he put on his clothes and then headed out of his room, he had gun holsters on him since he decided to be more careful, as he walked out he passed Vanessa as he said "Hi." John gave her a slight smile, it felt strange since he hadn't done that in a long time. John went down into the living room and then downstairs agsin, there was a corridor which he headed through till he got to metal doors, it was a vault for money. John entered the code and then walked inside as he grabbed a bit of money. He then walked out abd locked the vault as he then headed upstairs to the living room and then sat down onto the sofa and flicked the news on. He watched the interview with new CEO of Armorlenium as he said "This is bullshit, he better not fuck it up." he then paused for a moment and said "Vanesss, you like him?" he then continued to watch other news. "F#ck what up?" Vanessa muttered, noticing he had taken out some more money. She didn't know why he would need to seeing how he already had plenty of his own. Sighing she leaned against the wall watching Johnathan be bumbarded by reporters both suggesting he see a doctor and demanding that he tell them every detail. "Don't even know the guy, but you sure seemed to get your rocks off beating the man." She said with a frown looking at her brother.

John peered over at Vanessa and said "Inform me next time about the sudden change of the CEO" he then got back up from the couch and then walked outside of his house and then got into his car as he drove off to Armorlenium with few men, he told the men to wait outside the car and not be suspicious at all. John then went into the building and then straight to the elevator, he got inside it and then rode to the top floor, he got out and then went inside the office of the CEO, John was holding a suitcase, he put it on the CEO's desk, there was cash inside it, John then said "You better not fuck up".((@Axel1313 @EvelienLocalArtist))

Johnathan groaned and sat up on the couch. His hair and a suit were messed up from the deep sleep he had fallen into. "Wh? You again?" He rubbed his eyes and glared at the guy. "How did you get in here! I told them no more visitors today...."

John then looked at the man and said "I ain't a visitor, use the contents of this suitcase carefully" he then walked out of the office and then used the elevator to get to the lobby, as soon as he got there he walked out and got into his car with his men as he drove off back to the house.
