A recent, grand ball had been hosted by Sir Wantanabe, Michi. But ever since everyone joined it, all doors became locked and the conclusion came; Sir Michi had hosted a murder party. Now, every night a death of a visitor will meet someone, and the guests are stuck here until they find an escape route. Purposely laid clues are scattered around the building by Michi and his night assailant - which will only serve to help the people find a way to leave the torturous building. But that isn't all. Michi assigns a mid-day game where everyone must play, the winner getting to decide who to save that night. This is the only relief the guests have, but they can only save one- who is more important than others? And what happens if everyone dies out before anyone gets to leave...
introduction.
This is a Murder Mystery based Roleplay fancied with blood/gore, anxiety/panic attacks, and non sexual content. If a posting order is needed, I will mention it in a OOC post. Anyways, to carry on: Each visitor/guest has a background connected with Mr. Wanatanbe which caused them to be able to get invited by him in the first place. Death/Dead characters who will be killed in the future is a must have, though not everyone has to die if people want the route of escaping. More information of Character Roles for you to apply for will be in the couple tabs next.
This is indeed a first-come, first-serve role taking submission/entry roleplay so if you're late don't be a wimp and cry about it (not trying to be rude ^^). Though, you will be able to add onto roles, I will be making minor adjustments so everything can be set in stone in a proper way. Now let's move on to a few things about me, and I hope you have some care to read this anyways.
I am a 18 year old-turning-19 in Oct. 22 and in highschool but I have been writing for 7-8 ish years now. I would consider myself between an advanced/expert writer and intermediate writer. I do indeed enjoy roleplaying in fandom roleplays that I know, but 1x1 rp's are a slight disinterest. Sure, I do them, but I'm always checking in for the latest group roleplays on RPN. I do unfortunately/fortunately have a roleplay on BSD up on Wattpad, but I am currently unable to contact my group - though I did send one quick message recently. Anyways, back to my life, I do do cosplaying for a 'living' and I have a feeling my screen time is a bit too high, having using it every day only to see it 7+ hours. I might take a rest randomly, with or without notifying everyone I know on this website. No hard feelings please!
A Bit More Info On 'Clues' To Escape First: As I will also be partially be playing as Mr. Michi AND a guest, Mr. Michi has been decided to be a narrator. I will mention what clues/tools and what is needed and can be unlocked for escape. Examples are like how the basement door is locked, and the key is set in [Name's] bedroom, etc, etc. This will be easily explained once Roleplayed, so you'll see then.
the setting.
In a secluded area lays a huge, four-story mansion that leads to a bloodbath. The exterior walls vary from a nice royal blue and a rooftop midnight black. Huge glass windows that are oddly bullet proof cover most of what isn't made of brick, and rows of freshly cut bushes encircle the whole building. A small pathway leads up to the main door and porch, and just behind all of this is a 'caged-in' (meaning no exit in the back) swimming pool. Tiny lights dance along the mansion's underside of roof to give a 'welcoming' feel- but who said this was all welcoming?
Family Rooms: There are around only two family rooms in this mansion. One at the first floor, and second floor. They both serve the same purpose, just in different areas so it's a quicker reach then having to walk all the way down or up just to have a small chit-chat. The rooms are styled in the same way, a mix of cottage core and dark academia. The walls are painted with a coat of hickory, and then book shelves cover most of the bits of it. Small meaningless paintings are hung above what looks like a fireplace, and white and black with flower pattern pillows are set on a leather couch.
Bedrooms: There are seven bedrooms just accountable for the seven guests staying. A master bedroom is hidden around somewhere, unable to access. There will be a new style in each room, such as the listable; Softcore, Angel core, Grunge core, Cyber Core, Norm Core, and Nature core. (Each participant will be assigned the section/style of room before Roleplay so everyone knows what to expect.) These rooms are located in two separate floors. The females have their rooms set on the second floor, and the males have theirs on the third. A lounge is set for each gender near the halls of rooms.
Bathrooms: Each room is accustomed to having a bathroom, all set in the same style The styles are just to spice things up- something in what Michi enjoys seeing. There are absolutely no windows for any way of escape, but normal toiletries are set inside the cabinets for each sexuality. These set of rooms are particularly normal in everyone's eyes.
The Breakfast Hall: The breakfast hall is outdoors, in a nook of the side of the whole mansion with the perfect view of scenery. Everything has gates attached- even the 'ceiling' is a cage. There are only three tables, and food is served already. The meals will be set on the tables, going cold if no one eats, or if someone is late. But no ne is early enough to see who exactly serves the food...
Dining and Lunch Seating: The lunch hall shares the same room as the dining hall, but the two big table are how you distinguish them. This room is located just past the common area on the first floor. Everything here is set in a theme of white and grey for a more modern expertise.
Common Cube: A small 'study' nook/carrel that the guests will soon use when studying clues that are found.
the leader.
There really is no division between your group, but this role means exactly as what it says. You are the head of the group, a bit of every thing needed to become one. There will be a small argument in roleplay who is decided to be leader, and everyone points fingers at you. You now hold responsibility over who dies, who you protect, and if you win a game that day or find a clue - at least that's what you think. You feel most pressurized and have to break any arguments held above between two of your 'group mates'. Technically you'd be counted as a detective, but we won't get into too much detail on that.
the technologist.
Due to everyone's devices being collected and stored ever since the beginning of the small-ball, it is your duty to somehow contact people from the outside world and cut off the power generated 'locks' or so-called obstacles to have a way out. You have the most knowledge about technology, and the brain of the group. You can understand written codes and mind games during the daily activities - which gives you easy access of winning and saving a person that night from death. And with the help of your knowledge and the small tools you find around the mansion, you can calculate blood types, hair tests, and even thumb prints. The items aiding you will be important in case you want to find the assailant.
the night assailant.
You work under Sir. Wantanabe and are tasked with murdering OR HURTING someone that night, depending on your current mood. You must keep everything cleaned up properly for the next night incase you want to stay hidden, and any mess ups will cause harm to your current reputation as a 'visitor'. Act like you're one of them, and just maybe will you and Mr. Michi just win this 'battle' tonight. Afterall, it's just a spin of some tea and a lovely ball that has been extended for certain delights.

There is absolutely no romance in here because in this situation who thinks about love? NSFW is unexceptional as well, and will be an immediate kick from the group in case you ever do it. Small, sexual jokes are fine, but anything more is a warning. This might just be my smallest rule yet, but it is the most important one- so keep it in your head or that just might lead you and me to some problems. Make my life easier and continue on reading below...

Absolutely no one liners, I expect more from you. 2-6 paragraphs are by far fine, and I do not care if coding is used or not. If there are any mobile users, please just notify everyone OOC - something that will be added very soon. I think/see several people not being able to flesh out their ideas into more that two sentences, but that's okay! You can be very detailed or just move your character at a very fast pace. Just be sure you aren't quite annoying your partners-in-RP by letting things fly by a bit too much. I hope everyone expresses enough of only their part, without controlling anyone else. Only I hold responsibility over NPC'S in case I want to add them, but you'll barely see anyone other than guests in my opinion, but who knows.

I want communication between partners to be a key thing in roleplay. I don't want an introverted character, or some bad by just staring and glaring at someone before walking away- no, absolutely not. Sure, there can be some scenes like that, but remember- everyone is a cherished most likely coming from a rich enticed family. Why would someone grouchy other than those with what-not evil parents be coming to a dang ball> Yes, indeed, my sarcasm is VERY high, so sorry to those who don't understand my jokes- but seriously. EVERYONE.MUST.COMMUNICATE. As a narrator, I'll help those stuck by guiding them with some ideas OOC. Just ask! Don't be shy, I very much bite.

There are only technically 7 slots for roles, but I do accept more people only taking the following; Several of 'The Dead', or 'The Regular', and if there are enough people, I might just let another night assailant slide by. Keep in mind, the more people, the more fun! So if you scooch away, taht's one step backwards from reaching OUR goal! Talk about making you guilty...laughs nervously.

Dearest of Friends,
I am currently hosting a small ball to help brighten your day, as I have checked, might have been a little gloomy. Fear not, as I hope you meet at my mansion.
