Some say she's dumb, others say she just lacks self-restraint. The truth is, she's not exactly DUMB, but her knowledge is extremely selective. She can calculate the area of a cube, but exponents? Fuck off. Don't even get her started on proofs. She considers herself "one of the boys", loving a good laugh or sweaty work-out session. She might even flirt with you, though she gets extremely nervous if you flirt back. She's never gotten this far!   When Lu Ban comes down to earth, he often likes to visit his birthplace of Dunhuang. There he met a gorgeous woman named Szu, who wasn't originally from China, but moved there to get back in touch with her roots. They had a whirlwind love affair that ended in Szu getting pregnant and Lu returning to the kingdom of the heavens. It's nigh-impossible to abort a demigod, as it turns out. All she had left with her was a pamphlet for some school he wanted their kid to go to.
  
  As it turned out, Mao was truly not a normal child. Even from birth, she was one of the largest babies the doctors had ever seen. Szu almost instantly resented her child, finding Mao to be strange and malformed in ways no little girl had ought to be.   With her heritage journey coming to a screeching halt, Szu decided to leave Dunhuang and return to the United States, hoping some more "conventional" western medicine could make her kid less of a scary freakazoid. But no. Not only was Mao a perfectly healthy little girl, she also absolutely REFUSED to go under and ended up punching her doctor in the face and leaving him with a nasty nosebleed.
  
  As Mao got older, it became increasingly obvious that her two passions were architecture and girls. Szu thought her predilection towards the fairer gender was nasty, but found that her immense skill in construction and repair was useful.
  
  Life suddenly became a lot easier for Szu and a lot harder for Mao, who was basically forced into the position of just about every blue-collar worker you can imagine. Why hire a plumber, electrician, or mechanic when you have a daughter that can be all three? And when word got out about what Mao was capable of, you bet your ass other people started getting in on it. Szu was charging them and keeping the extra money while Mao worked herself stupid.
  
  Things weren't always easy for Szu, as Mao also attracted a lot of giant monsters to their home as soon as word got out about her skill. She managed to dispatch them barehanded AND repair the house for free, but the girl wasn't invincible. With the way she had to fight, she was on borrowed time. Of course, inevitably, the day came that Mao was to be collected for her stint at Aeternum Academy, and she was unsurprisingly more than happy to get the fuck out.     Venom Generation: Solo can generate a very potent and necrotic venom through his skin, saliva, and via his retractable fangs. The venom is so potent that it can necrotize flesh within seconds.
    
    Water Mimicry: Solo is able to transform himself into water itself. He will usually take his own bodily form, but will also take the form of a snake or even assimilate into other bodies of water nearby. He is able to travel and avoid attacks this way.

  . Solo in aspects is the best friend that anyone could ask for. He's honest, caring, and won't hesitate to help people that he likes. Emphasis on the "that he likes". To the people he doesn't enjoy, he's the nightmare they wished they never had. He's a creature lurking under the calm waters, waiting to pull you under and drown you silently. Outgoing, clingy, and never dull, Solo tends to get along with just about everyone.
  
  But under his shiny exterior lies a badly damaged boy, who never knew his parents or why he was abandoned so carelessly. Because of this, Solo has abandonment issues, and takes it extremely hard when people leave him behind, both physically or emotionally. He'll shut down, drowning his sorrows in alcohol before he is able to face the world again.

  the first part of life

  Solo's life began in water. Or at least that's what was theorized. No one knows really how Solo came about. But people could take a stab and say that his mother, Mamlambo, mated with a human and his existence came about. What is known is that neither his mother or father wanted him, and someone had enough common sense to leave him by the barrier of the school, where he was promptly found.
  
  One of the schools professors took him in, giving him a home and raising him up, giving him the first name of Solomon, which means peace, and his surname "Rivers". Sololmon was an easy baby, rarely ever needing for much, and as he grew into his toddler years, it became clear that his comfort always lied with water. He got along with most kids his age, only ever getting into trouble while defending himself or others who were being bullied.

  As Solo grew into a young adult, he was very in tune with the fact that he was gay. He didn't shy from it, in fact, he was probably one of the few on campus that accepted it. Having been a ward of the school, Solo had gotten a chance to receive his training earlier than most students. He was a quick learner, often commenting how boring classes were when he had already read ahead. He occupied most of his time by the river, watching the barrier, keeping track of the monsters that would tread through the woods.

  what happens next?

  By the time his teen years came to a head, Solo had developed his abilities gifted to him by his mother. At first, he had very minimal control and due to this, started to close himself off from people he normally would love to see, too afraid that he would end up hurting them. After much coaxing and a lot of practicing, Solo started getting better control of his venom powers that had once kept him away from most people and returned to his normal self. His first year in Academy was one to remember. He made lots a friends, a few enemies, and made out once...or twice. One thing was for sure: he wasn't alone. By the time his freshman year ended, Solo was told that his biological father had come looking for him. He was given the choice to see him.
  
  Solo declined.
  
  But another opportunity arose and before the second year of school started, Solo was given a task: Become companions to a new demi-god student.

  A passionate fellow at the very least, Aurelian is chiefly described as having a deep seated need for perfection. Those who work hard are given their just reward, and that has never been more true than with him. Despite his propensity for arrogance, it's not out of unearned desperation for approval. No, he couldn't stand for that. Instead, any ego that he's built for himself has been painstakingly earned through hardwork and fighting until he knows for an absolute fact that he is the best in the room.
  
  That is, of course, until someone shows him up and beats him. And then the cycle of laboring and toiling until he's improved and fixed his mistakes that he's been shown and he's ready to fight again. He absolutely despises losing and as such fights with everything he has to remain on top. When he decides to tackle a project, he's going to give it everything he's got, or else it just isn't worth doing. And if he fails, then clearly he wasn't up to scratch and he has to fix whatever little bug inside of him there is. Anybody that can't rise to his level or commit to this same "all or nothing" mentality is not worth his time or energy.
  
  He's quick to anger, as is the type of person who is singularly devoted to making themself the best. And nothing frustrates him more than mistakes: both on his side, and on anyone else's side. But he takes the approach of "don't be sorry, be better." Mistakes faced with excuses or "external factors" or the passing of blame onto anything else is met with a fast and intense fury that is unleashed upon the poor soul. A lifetime of discipline doing nothing to quell absolute fury at complacent incompetency. But it should be noted that he never directs his wrath towards anything outside of what he's currently raging at, besides perhaps his immediate environment. It is never directed at those that did nothing wrong. Nor does he ever actually hold a grudge (provided that the person fix their mistake).
  
  This does not make him the most cuddly of people, but at the very least he's consistent. Affection and praise are not to be given freely, but to be earned through work and skill. Talent can only bring you so far if you don't work to cultivate it.
  
  Despite this anger, he doesn't get emotionally hurt very easily, which might surprise people. And he has a very callous way of viewing things. As long as you're alive, then the worst thing has not happened to you. Anything less than that is not worth getting sad over. A very long winded way of saying that he's a flirt and a womanizer and also not particularly bothered by things like "in a monogamous relationship" if someone's girl flirts with him first.

  Hera was enraged by Zeus's infidelity. And from that pure rage came Aurelian - the next in a series of boys created by Hera's wrath. But unlike Hephaestus, Aurelian was mortal. And so, he was dropped into Southern Italy as an orphan baby, taken in by the Italian foster care system. He was put into an orphanage, where his rage became an essential tool for survival.
  
  He was all alone. And he became more feral and wild the longer he spent trapped. He was shuffled around in an attempt to calm him down, find someone he clicked with to tame him into becoming a functional member of society.
  
  But that didn't necessarily work out for anyone, and any attempts to subdue him made him angrier and angrier.

  He was given a chance at a better future, and moved to Northern Italy. There, he quickly melted seamlessly into a role: the role of the rebellious younger brother. The temperamental younger brother that fought people and swore and got tattoos and pierced his ears. Completely safe now, he couldn't help thinking that he was constantly on edge and on guard.
  
  He met a boy that was like him, but not exactly. Unlike him, he already fit a role: the golden child. The perfect child. In the hierarchy, he was the one to defeat. But Aurelian found that no matter hard he tried, he couldn't beat Dante.
  
  So, instead, he came to idolize his new big brother. He wanted to make Dante proud, and Dante held his family in high regard. Therefore, Aurelian found himself wanting to make his new family proud as well. To prove to them that it wasn't a mistake to adopt him. And in the process, make Dante proud.
  
  He found himself less motivated, though, when Dante was kicked out of the family for reasons that nobody would explain to him, but without his older brother there to shield him from the worsts of the judgements that came from their parents, he quickly found himself struggling to rise to meet expectations.

  Eventually, Aurelian grew too restless to stay in Italy where it was safe. He'd heard that Dante had gone off on some adventure and he wanted the glory as well. So, he took off after him.
  
  Aurelian traveled to Aeternum by himself, fighting monsters and living once more as a vagrant. But he had a singular goal in mind.
  
  And it paid off.
