[2E] Fiery Solar Canon vs. Soulbreaker Orb: Artifact Level

No it's more like their toy goes off in their face and yet without the real effect' date=' no, just something worse :D Please! Someone in AOA build one![/quote']I say this in the kindest possible way CW.
Blow me.

That said, no thanks. Already putting my neck on the chopping block trying to make various political connections and getting a first age warship airborne as is...

Not to mention trying to bribe that Fiery Solar Cannon from you, :D

Oh your ass is high and dry anyway, I've got plans for your corpse when it comes :P It's the others I'm talking too!

LoL, you know what REALLY surprises me about this game. Think hard on what you've all done. Honestly now. You guys have done SO much, and yet...no one knows who the fuck you are. In the grand scheme of things you guys have made zero impact upon the world at large if you think about it O.o

*gasp!* I've made contact with other nations! ANd then everyone gets pissy when the Eclipse that has been doing all the work wants to oath them...bah!

But Thorn, the more oaths you make us swear, the higher the chance that we'll accidentally break one or be forced to break one. Remember the fiasco with that double bind? Each oath heightens the chances of that.

A broken oath is a death sentance. When you swear us to something, you're basically threatening to kill us if we break it. In the interests of your own and your friend's safety, you should keep them to necessity.

Those things are really designed for your enemies.

Hey, hey...I bring them news of a great evil worse than any Solar, and booze to boot. I think a diplomatic solution is in order!

And I can bring you worse news next session, you'll shit really. And this is advice from the ST, easy on the oaths man.

Well, so far Kye hasn't broken anything...Scin and Kye's ship oath is over, Scin officially bequeathed the Venture to Kye...Kye WAS going to ask Ma-Ha-Suchi's help on finding a solution to Eleria's totem problem, but that kinda got eaten up by minions of darkness. Kye also kept to his "Protect Creation" bit by informing major powerhouses about the evil in the southeast, and the only other oaths he has made didnt involve him. They were one sided and the people agreeing to them knew such.

But, okay, the PC's have stated the disliking of oaths...I'll keep that in mind

Many thanks. And the upcoming sessions will be a whirlwind and a half, and hopefully ol' B'ron will make himself known to ye PCs. Along with Knights.

Yeah, I think Kye will stick to short term oaths for a while now, like "Swear my companions and I will have safe passage until this point" kind of stuff...

And, any official day on the new session yet?

Speaking of which... Given a consensus between two parties who are currently oath-bound, can an Eclipse nullify the previous oath for them? (in the same manner that he activated the oath-bond the last time I presume).

Yes, but only if they agreed it could be nullified as such in the original agreement. It's always good to include a few loopholes just in case the powers that be try to twist your oath to their advantage.
