Ticks are my bishie.

2nd ed combat is the shizzle-dizzle. Honestly, it's the coolest thing since sliced bread.

Ticks win, and the streamlined system is.. streamlined.

I'll put it like this: in the last two sessions, I've had more combat scenes than in the last two stories. And they took so little time, and with such pleasantly swift results.

Also, in the new system, extras are AS WATER before the exalted, and exalts are soo much more awesome in general. Just because the system favours them.

Body count: 16 dead, many, many more injured/unconscious, three buildings destroyed. And all without a single anima flare.

Healed in a dramatically appropriate way, as opposed to the alternative, where she'd just pile resources 5 worth of random shit and ask the US to do a favour.

Thank the gods. My plot survives without the taint of shit.

Ow! My plot!

He's losing his arm again if it becomes crap. And it'll be on your black conscience.
