Lee Kitae was at the top of Yunam Academy of the Arts. He was Yunam’s very own golden boy, the town’s promise child. It seemed like Kitae was just too damn good at everything. Anything he didn’t immediately take to like a fish to water, he was determined to learn. He was a handsome young man with a voice like molten gold and nimble fingers that could manipulate guitar strings and charcoal pencils with ease..So imagine everyone’s surprise when his body turned up in Haven Lake. It was a fucking nightmare. The townspeople became even more distrustful and clannish. Their golden boy was dead, and they couldn’t let news of the death get out - the tourist industry they depended on would collapse. Because the evidence pointed overwhelmingly to murder. So what was there left to do but to take matters into the town’s own hands?Enter our players: seven young people unfortunate enough to have had both the motives and the means to eliminate Kitae. All connected to the murder in some way. All claiming innocence. But the police are convinced that the murderer is among these seven, and they lay out a deal for them. Find out who the murderer is within 30 days and accuse them. Failure to accuse someone will be taken as a refusal to cooperate, which will lead to an investigation that could lead to charges against you. If the seven do not comply, then the police will have no choice but conduct official investigations that could lead to multiple court cases (which would be the worst kind of publicity for Yunam). Better to sink one person on their own terms than let the system sink all of them, right?

i am really big on the mystery aspect of this rp. i genuinely want the rpers to not know who the murderer is. i’ll go into detail about how the murderer will be chosen and other things after i create the thread for this rp, but i have the process all planned out already. i’m seeking good, literate writers but replies don’t have to be longer than two paragraphs. romance, while not prohibited, shouldn’t be the main focus of the rp. morally ambiguous characters encouraged! lol post below if you think you’re interested
