Also, also, I just realized that Tomomi is the tallest girl in the group (5'11") while Gale is tied for the smallest (4'6"). Prepare for piggyback rides.

No exact time, but long enough to be familiar with it. Maybe around a month or two?

Hmmm, what are their common interests? Tomomi's into aesthetic/fashion, plants, cooking, and if all else fails, a particular flower shop down the street from her family's apartment. Tomomi wouldn't tell Gale about her family's financial situation or how she felt something was wrong with her, but there are plenty of cues to pick up on (like how she doesn't buy much despite her flamboyance, her constant making everything about her, etc.).


Also, @Vague , do you mind telling me a little more about the creatures we'll be fighting? Are we expected to control them, or do you do that? What's the general scope of their powers and aesthetic of their appearances?

Well, Gale has a little interest in fashion. Her older sister is going to college for fashion design and Gale became interested by association. Otherwise Gale's into gymnastics, video gaming, and astronomy.

Okay, so maybe one of them complimented the other's clothing, and Tomomi had a particularly epic story about it? I can see that happening. Of course, while Tomomi's practicing shutting up and listening, I could see Gale chiming in with her knowledge as well. And maybe while they were walking they could pass something that grabs their attention, like an interesting statue or shop, and interaction could've continued flowing from there.


(Point is, I'm hoping that if Gale has been able to tolerate Tomomi's drama-queen-ness, and Tomomi responds positively to Gale's energy, which she should, I can see piggy-back rides in the future.)

Well, firstly, the monsters vary greatly in terms of appearance and power. Some are extremely powerful, and some are very weak. The weaker ones are the ones we encounter most. Hm...I feel like all roleplayers should control the creatures. You can do almost whatever you like, just remember that most creatures cannot be beat in one hit. And in terms of appearance, as I said, it varies. Some take on more human-like appearances, while others resemble animals.
