Overview-


The Republic was formed out of the ashes of war in 1946. From that point on, the country focused on internal and European problems and in 1957, created the European Union, survived the Years of Lead and the Great Recession (2008-20015). Out of these trials came a stronger Italy, a active individual in foreign problems and a great fighter against ISIS. but after the collapse of the EU, this Republic became dormant. They shedded their foreign polices and look internally, focusing on protecting the Republic from outside forces. Then in 2031AD, the Republic took a good look around and realized "Ah shit. The world's gong to hell." *No one actually said that but artistic liberties people* Obviously not want to repeat the same moves that put them in this position in the first place, Italy will be focusing on Europe and the Mediterranean nations, trying to keep the peace between all of them and help those who'll need it.

I like the idea though it seems a little sloppy, if you could edit your post to make it more understandable then I would gladly accept you. Also keep in mind that Italy is currently involved in an alliance with Great Britain, Spain, and Russia so please specify if you are going to stick with these or not. The current date in rp is also 2031 so please keep that in mind.

If you had all 18 million in your military your economy would be very very weak as all your fit workers would be serving in the military. A Paleolithic culture around 30,000 BC constitutes the first known habitation of the Japanese archipelago. This was followed from around 14,000 BC (the start of the Jōmon period) by a Mesolithic to Neolithic semi-sedentary hunter-gatherer culture, who include ancestors of both the contemporary Ainu people and Yamato people,[24][25] characterized by pit dwelling and rudimentary agriculture.[26] Decorated clay vessels from this period are some of the oldest surviving examples of pottery in the world. Around 300 BC, the Yayoi people began to enter the Japanese islands, intermingling with the Jōmon.[27] The Yayoi period, starting around 500 BC, saw the introduction of practices like wet-rice farming,[28] a new style of pottery,[29] and metallurgy, introduced from China and Korea.[30]


Japan first appears in written history in the Chinese Book of Han.[31] According to the Records of the Three Kingdoms, the most powerful kingdom on the archipelago during the 3rd century was called Yamataikoku. Buddhism was first introduced to Japan from Baekje of Korea, but the subsequent development of Japanese Buddhism was primarily influenced by China.[32] Despite early resistance, Buddhism was promoted by the ruling class and gained widespread acceptance beginning in the Asuka period(592–710).[33]


The Nara period (710–784) of the 8th century marked the emergence of a strong Japanese state, centered on an imperial court in Heijō-kyō (modern Nara). The Nara period is characterized by the appearance of a nascent literature as well as the development of Buddhist-inspired art and architecture.[34] The smallpox epidemic of 735–737 is believed to have killed as much as one-third of Japan's population.[35] In 784, Emperor Kammu moved the capital from Nara to Nagaoka-kyō before relocating it toHeian-kyō (modern Kyoto) in 794.





Samurai warriors face Mongols, during the Mongol invasions of Japan. The Kamikaze, two storms, are said to have saved Japan from Mongol fleets.


This marked the beginning of the Heian period (794–1185), during which a distinctly indigenous Japanese culture emerged, noted for its art, poetry and prose. Murasaki Shikibu's The Tale of Genji and the lyrics of Japan's national anthem Kimigayo were written during this time.[36]


Buddhism began to spread during the Heian era chiefly through two major sects, Tendai by Saichō, and Shingon by Kūkai. Pure Land Buddhism (Jōdo-shū, Jōdo Shinshū) greatly becomes popular in the latter half of the 11th century.


Feudal era


Japan's feudal era was characterized by the emergence and dominance of a ruling class of warriors, the samurai. In 1185, following the defeat of the Taira clan in the Genpei War, sung in the epic Tale of Heike, samurai Minamoto no Yoritomo was appointed shogun and established a base of power in Kamakura. After his death, the Hōjō clan came to power as regents for the shoguns. The Zen school of Buddhism was introduced from China in the Kamakura period (1185–1333) and became popular among the samurai class.[37] The Kamakura shogunate repelled Mongol invasionsin 1274 and 1281, but was eventually overthrown by Emperor Go-Daigo. Go-Daigo was himself defeated by Ashikaga Takauji in 1336.

Ashikaga Takauji established the shogunate in Muromachi, Kyoto. This was the start of the Muromachi Period (1336–1573). TheAshikaga shogunate achieved glory in the age of Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, and the culture based on Zen Buddhism (art of Miyabi) prospered. This evolved to Higashiyama Culture, and prospered until the 16th century. On the other hand, the succeeding Ashikaga shogunate failed to control the feudal warlords (daimyo), and a civil war (the Ōnin War) began in 1467, opening the century-long Sengoku period ("Warring States").[38]


During the 16th century, traders and Jesuit missionaries from Portugal reached Japan for the first time, initiating direct commercialand cultural exchange between Japan and the West. This allowed Oda Nobunaga to obtain European technology and firearms, which he used to conquer many other daimyo. His consolidation of power began what was known as the Azuchi–Momoyama period (1573–1603). After he was assassinated in 1582, his successor Toyotomi Hideyoshi unified the nation in 1590 and launched two unsuccessful invasions of Korea in 1592 and 1597.

Tokugawa Ieyasu served as regent for Hideyoshi's son and used his position to gain political and military support. When open war broke out, he defeated rival clans in theBattle of Sekigahara in 1600. Ieyasu was appointed shogun in 1603 and established the Tokugawa shogunate at Edo (modern Tokyo).[39] The Tokugawa shogunate enacted measures including buke shohatto, as a code of conduct to control the autonomous daimyo;[40] and in 1639, the isolationist sakoku ("closed country") policy that spanned the two and a half centuries of tenuous political unity known as the Edo period (1603–1868).[41] The study of Western sciences, known as rangaku, continued through contact with the Dutch enclave at Dejima in Nagasaki. The Edo period also gave rise to kokugaku ("national studies"), the study of Japan by the Japanese.[42]


Modern era


On March 31, 1854, Commodore Matthew Perry and the "Black Ships" of the United States Navy forced the opening of Japan to the outside world with the Convention of Kanagawa. Subsequent similar treaties with Western countries in the Bakumatsu period brought economic and political crises. The resignation of the shogun led to the Boshin War and the establishment of a centralized state nominally unified under the Emperor (the Meiji Restoration).[43]

Adopting Western political, judicial and military institutions, the Cabinet organized the Privy Council, introduced the Meiji Constitution, and assembled the Imperial Diet. The Meiji Restoration transformed the Empire of Japan into an industrialized world power that pursued military conflict to expand its sphere of influence. After victories in the First Sino-Japanese War (1894–1895) and the Russo-Japanese War (1904–1905), Japan gained control of Taiwan, Korea, and the southern half of Sakhalin.[44] Japan's population grew from 35 million in 1873 to 70 million in 1935.[45]

The early 20th century saw a brief period of "Taishō democracy" overshadowed by increasingexpansionism and militarization. World War I enabled Japan, on the side of the victorious Allies, to widen its influence and territorial holdings. It continued its expansionist policy by occupyingManchuria in 1931; as a result of international condemnation of this occupation, Japan resigned from the League of Nations two years later. In 1936, Japan signed the Anti-Comintern Pact withNazi Germany, and the 1940 Tripartite Pact made it one of the Axis Powers.[46] In 1941, Japan negotiated the Soviet–Japanese Neutrality Pact.[47]

The Empire of Japan invaded other parts of China in 1937, precipitating the Second Sino-Japanese War (1937–1945). The Imperial Japanese Army swiftly captured the capital Nanjingand conducted the Nanking Massacre.[48] In 1940, the Empire then invaded French Indochina, after which the United States placed an oil embargo on Japan.[49] On December 7–8, 1941, Japanese forces carried out surprise attacks on Pearl Harbor, attacks on British forces in Malaya, Singapore, and Hong Kong and declared war, bringing the US and the UK into World War II in the Pacific.[50][51] After the Soviet invasion of Manchuria and the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945, Japan agreed to an unconditional surrender on August 15.[52] The war cost Japan and the rest of the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere millions of lives and left much of the nation's industry and infrastructure destroyed. The Allies (led by the US) repatriated millions of ethnic Japanese from colonies and military camps throughout Asia, largely eliminating the Japanese empire and restoring the independence of its conquered territories.[53] The Allies also convened the International Military Tribunal for the Far East on May 3, 1946 to prosecute some Japanese leaders for war crimes. However, the bacteriological research units and members of the imperial family involved in the war were exonerated from criminal prosecutions by the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers despite calls for trials for both groups.[54]


In 1947, Japan adopted a new constitution emphasizing liberal democratic practices. The Allied occupation ended with the Treaty of San Francisco in 1952[55] and Japan was granted membership in the United Nations in 1956. Japan later achieved rapid growth to become the second-largest economy in the world, until surpassed by China in 2010. This ended in the mid-1990s when Japan suffered a major recession. In the beginning of the 21st century, positive growth has signaled a gradual economic recovery.[56] On March 11, 2011, Japan suffered the strongest earthquake in its recorded history; this triggered the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster, one of the worst disasters in the history of nuclear power.[57]

June 25 2016 War Declared! The parliament of Japan has voted to take direct action against the ISIS menace. Japan will deploying 2,500 JGSDF troops within the year, to hopefully combat the state of terrorism.


March 19 2017 The old constitution has been ratified to a newer and more modern Japan, the largest changes to the constitution is the replacement of Self-Defense Forces with a conventional military. This may have a sizable effect on the Japanese war effort against ISIS, but only time will tell.


September 14 2019 Seeing no reason or good outcome on the war with ISIS, Japan is fully withdrawing her troops. Monetary aid, and aid to refugees will still be sent, but Japan will no longer be fighting the Islamic State.


October 21 2019 Following the large animosity between the peoples of Japan and China, a migration of Chinese peoples from Japan back towards China is commenced. Only fueling their hatred for each other. But despite the people's hostility, the government of Japan tries to keep good relations with the PRC.


June 8 2020 A wave of sorrow and mourning sweeped Japan as news reached the public of Emperor Akihito's death at age 87. A grand funeral is held for him only a week later, his son, Crown Prince Naruhito will be crowned Emperor of Japan at his Enthronement of August 28th 2021.


December 2 2021 Today is a day that shall remain long remembered throughout Japanese history. A plot was revealed to assassinate Prime Minister Chichi Yamahi, the assassination was to occur during her speech to the Japanese public about the rising crime wave. Once the assassin was found, he took a pot shot at the PM, striking her at the abdomen. She is currently in critical condition at Tokyo General Hospital. The assassin was a Yakuza member, which now discovered will only heighten the threat of a gang war on the streets of not only Tokyo, but all over Japan.


May 30 2024 The Newly formed Japanese Ground Forces will be expanding it's size to 270,000 men, accompanying it to the production of 40 Type 10 MBTs, 36 Type 90 MBTs, 24 MCVs, 32 Type 86 AA guns, and 60 Type 96 APCs. Not only to protect it's nation, but to fight the Yakuza menace.


January 29 2029 The whole nation celebrates, as if peace had just been declared. the 7 year long gang war with the Yakuza has ended. Their final stronghold breeched, their syndicate leaders captured. Japan foresees a future of safety and order on the streets.


November 12 2029 The nation of Japan need no longer be protected by the guard of foreign nations. With it's military, bolstering over 712,000 (Includes JMF, JAF, and JGF) the nation can stand strongly.

The current President of the EEF is Katerina Majanam - whom is assisted by the four regional advisors from the previously formed countries. With a unified parlament, situated in Vilnius - made-up of around sixty-one individuals.

Demography:


In 2014, most of Canada's population (35 mil.) lived in a 200km long area near the border with the US. With a major migration from US civillians to Canada, reason being free healthcare and social funds, most true canadians moved up north. Within ten years, Canada's population had grown to around 40 mil. inhabitants. Expanding cities around the border with US as well as creating new cities within the mainland of Canada.


Along with the migrating staters, thousands of syrian refugees fled to Canada. Instead of integrating into the Canadian culture, they sought peace among members of their own culture.


Economy:


The massive influx of refugees and americans caused an increase in taxation. Mainly due to the rising need of social funds and healthcare. The government had to lower the social benefits, and even lend money from banks. Unemployment became a great deal, because the immigrants were without work. Companies couldn't offer them jobs. After the fall of democracy, when Canada was on the very edge of collapsing but a new council was made, income from trade with Europe's mainland saved them. Chairman Harpard Buckleberry was appointed to become the head of the state.


Harpard Buckleberry might not be the most handsome of men, but he's a brilliant economist. He foresaw the unemployment, and worked in all silence on a plan to save Canada. He spent lots of money gained from trade with Europe into the military. Then he directed most unemployed men to join the army. He called it "Serve the Nation", but it basicly was conscription.


Mr. Buckleberry is cheered by the population. The French speakers were driven out of the country. Social media scolded them to 'go back to europe'. And so they did. Buckleberry's influence in the council (council consists out of 30 loyalists) was high. Along with the migrating staters, thousands of syrian refugees fled to Canada. Instead of integrating into the Canadian culture, they sought peace among members of their own culture.

The government had to lower the social benefits, and even lend money from banks. Unemployment became a great deal, because the immigrants were without work. Companies couldn't offer them jobs. Overview- In March 8th 2020, Isis launched a major Terrorist Operation in the oil fields of the Ghawar Field, sending about 7,000 members to take it. Armed forces of Saudi Arabia had sent in 50,000 soldiers, 32 tanks, and other special forces and helicopters were sent in to take them out. However the battle at first was thought to become a easy task turned to become one of the bloodiest battles known to Modern Saudi Arabia in a single day. As soon as the Army had arrived about 2 miles away from the Oil fields, reports had shown that the ISIS threat had simple vanished. Several Drones were sent to investigate and the reports were hour later passes and suddenly everything went wrong. Suddenly reports had indicated that fighting amongst the ranks had suddenly appeared, Soldiers all across were suddenly turning against each other and 27/32 of the tanks brought in were also turned against their own comrades. Suddenly reports across the country in military outposts, bases, airports, and major cities were suddenly reporting large engagements of ISIS personals. With the army in a dissaray and in a state of panic, and the lack of allies not being able to respond in time to assist. The majority of the country was under ISIS control. Any remnants of the military that were still loyal to the country were either killed or escaped in whatever transportation they had at their disposable. By March 14th, the country was now part of the extremist influential sphere. Things were looking more grim for the middle east as the ISIS group continued spread their terror throughout the world.


The people of Saudi Arabia lost all hope for most of their rights were taken, and the pride stripped, many killed. Because of the major countries not being able to even get a foothold in Saudi Arabia the people became angry against the outside world. That was until a former soldier of the Saudi Arabian Army named


Muzaffar El-Hashem and 31, he was originally a corporal of the 17th Light motorized infantry brigade and stationed near Tabuk when the crisis happened, along with five of his childhood friends who decided to enlist as well. Most of them made it out to as far as turkey with their lives intact, but do to ISIS influencing major countries and others with terror, Muzaffar and his comrades weren't able to get any shelter. With so many people flooding out of the middle east in seek of protection, it seemed like every country saw them as a threat to their own national security. The only option they had was to turn back, of course Muzaffar wouldn't just return and have him and his friends submit to the Extremist bastards. Instead he decided to take a approach that no sane man would ever do when all seems lost, and thats to fight back against a monster that seems unstoppable. In August 1st 2021, Muzaffar and his five buddies had managed to gather around 300 members (some were original Saudi Arabian soldiers or civilians) and several cargoes of stolen military goods and went into the deserts of Arabia to prepare their covert operations.


In the first couple of years the group had started off small, learning news of what had happened and news of what ISIS was doing.Stealing military weapons in small quantitys. Then eventually started to recruit small numbers of people that were not influenced by the Extremist. By 2023 the group had more then 1,239 members, of course this wasn't enough and the group needed to come up with something big that would allow more people to join their cause, make a name for themselves. Several months passed and an oppurtunity had arisen, July 23-25 ISIS had recently captured several hundred so called "Heritics in several different towns and cities of Arabia and were commencing to do a large mass genocide to make sure the countries people would learn to not question their sacred religion or anything against. The killing would happen in a small desolated area, where a radio station and a camera crew would be awaiting. The group immediately moved into action and prepared a rescue mission, it seemed too risky and many of Muzaffars friends attempted to change his mind and wait to gain more strength. He blew that out of question, they had to do something now or forming this group would have been a waste of time. After giving a small motivational speech, the group decided to commence the plan on July 25th. The plan was commenced and at first alot things went down fast, but thanks to Muzaffars quick thinking and steel wits, he managed to turn the tide and motivated his rebel troops to continue fighting. He was reported to have charged into the ISIS Radio broadcaster room and kill 13 hostiles with a pistol and a Arabian sword which no one knew where the hell he got it from, he responded with "Found it off of one of those supply crates the bastards had lying around."


Because of the success of the Operation, The group had managed to capture the Radio station and told of there presence, first Arabia, and then the world. 2016 - Argentina's GDP reaches 1.5 trillion, personal income tax is raised to 33.2% and sign a research partnership agreement with USA.


2017 - Designs & successfully tests its first tank (which isn't shit)); 200 Tanks were to be ordered.


2018 - The order for 200 tanks has been halted, only 143 were made. There was a nuclear leak, 12 people die & small amounts of food within the region is radiated.


2019 - Punishments in Argentina become more 'harsh'. Vandalism can lead to 5-6 years in prison.


2020 - Around 120,00 Muslims migrate to Argentina. The government of Argentina is worried about possible terrorist attacks ; muslims are given a curfew.


2021 - Argentina is out of debt ; small military build up and personal income tax is raised to 37.1%


2022 - Roman catholic is made the official religion of Argentina ; Islamic citizens are banned from public air transport.


2023 - Freedom of demonstration is banned ; Saying anything against the government is considered treason.


2024 - Argentina starts spending 900 Million per year on propaganda.


2025 - Large flood in Chubut, 1.2 - 1.3 billion dollars in damage.


2026 - Saying anything against the government of Argentina is considered treason, and will result in a public execution.


2027 - "Klebsiella planticola" (A biological thing that would pretty much give a big fuck you to bacteria and such) is combined


with another bacteria which produced Alcohol, in order to create a GMO that would destroy land waste whilst producing a sellable product.

2030 - A "peaceful protest group" occurs in Chubut, asking for liberty and not opression from the Argentinan government, since this is considered treason in Argentina ; they are simply shot and killed. This causes revolts


all over Argentina ; None of which are exactly 'big' .


2031 - Argentina is pretty much Islamophobic now. Argentina announces its plans on sending a satellite to orbit Mars, nobody really knows when that will happen.


2032 - Argentina military was often seen as inferior, and this is not exactly a thing to be proud about. Argentina considers demonstrating their military power


by invading Daesh { ISIS } .
