Afganistan is the graveyard of empires and is fiercely independent it had only been pacified once and just barely the US tried, the Soviets tried and the Mongols succeeded but mainly they just left them alone I'm not against the idea but going into Afghanistan your going to be on thin ice. That's why I need to spread propaganda there. I am doing research into Shia versus Muslim populations and acceptance. Sadly I have little knowledge of the cultural groups and their acceptance (theres so many its hard) but I do know that religion can over come cultural boundaries with time.


My plan is to rally support for the Iranian Caliphate and then spread unity based on being Muslim so I can overcome cultural differences. Afghanistan will be hard so I will only take the small section of it with Shia majority and make the rest a protectorate. I only plan on making Pakistan give me tons of stuff, im not dealing with them and Afghanistan at the same time.

I am Iraq has a large Shia population so my airstrikes shall soften their defenses!


And since India wants my help with Pakistan I want their help with ISIS in Iraq


Hopefully the Iranian-Iraqi war doesn't play too much into it... don't want the Iraqis attacking me

My prime targets for conquest (Taking their land and making it mine) based on religion and religious tolerance:


1. Azerbaijan


Pros: Mainly Shia, large acceptance.


Cons: My own people wont accept the Sunnis lol


Unknown: Cultural ties


2. Iraq


Pro: Large Shia dominate region near border, large acceptance


Cons: Past tensions and wars could cause distrust without proper utilization of propaganda

3. Afghanistan


Pros: Large acceptance, a Shia dominate region


Con: Long history of fighting off invaders, Shia population small and in the middle of country

Do you understand the difference between Shia and Sunni ? Good for you the divide is nowhere as severe as Catholics and Protestants in Christianity, it dates back to after Muhammad's death they didn't know who should become caliph. Shia Muslims say that it needs to be a decendant of Muhammad while Sunni want the most pious and effective leader. But as time went by differences emerged but that can be mended.
