Yeah I'd give it a week or so to see if that's true or not.....Kanye 2020 eh ? Of course, who can deny that the brotherhood of the NOD doesn't exist eh ?  :P

Or... Giant Meteor .....time to hit the reset button O.o

I'm sure everyone's thinking about that given the current .....selections.....

Actually, about that. I vaguely recall there was once a President in US history with three terms? One of the Roosevelts, I believe. How did he do it, and why can't it be done again?

Hillary has been connected to numerous lies to gather support, she's been sued because of secret servers hiding information that is supposed to remain public, she's shamelessly switched her position on topics depending on public opinion, and she's blaming the hate on her on being a woman.

I would have supported Trump a few weeks ago, but after seeing him in the presidential debate I've realized he's hopelessly clueless. He barely answered any questions. He may have been misrepresented as far as being a racist. Maybe. But he certainly can't misrepresent himself.

In seriousness I'd vote for Hillary because she seems to know more about what she's doing. However, I'm voting for the meteor here on the off-chance it lands on both candidates.

Yeah can't blame you at all . Your left with the worst of the worst . If your from the Midwest/ South / New England areas and your someone who works in a manufacturing plant ( which consists of a large portion of jobs there ) and/or are a trucker , its hard to vote Hillary in good conscious after seeing all those trade deals ( NAFTA , CAFTA  and the upcoming TPP ) go and gut whatever is left of your community .   Given that those who are most adversely affected by trade, are often LEFT BEHIND without ANY real help. ( and no UE and cobra ( healthcare insurance)  are pure trash , and the retraining to a new field that's provided by the government? ( Companies usually don't pitch in to help most of the time its an extra " cost " ) . That barely consists of anything merely more then a few power point presentations that leave you with more questions then answers , and still leaves you largely unqualified unless you start dumping a ton of money.  Or just maybe, you  are one of the few who can self teach themselves something entirely new without issues within a short time frame ( 6 months)   and  luckily land a temporary contract job. ) . Not to mention the barriers for entry in said markets are getting higher and higher as more entry level jobs ( for the service industry , the jobs that pay more then min wage ) are being shipped overseas for more " shareholder equity "  . Has anyone even tried applying to the job market lately ? Unless you have that " particular" skill that's hot, your not going to get that many call backs from anyone or recruiters, which leaves job seekers with a bitter taste in their mouth . Not to mention said particular skill would only be " useful" for less then a few years tops before having to retrain into something else. A lot people want stability, just because some people love freelancing and/or moving from city to city doesn't mean that should be the only path to the middle class , its either that or taking a HUGE risk at starting a new business .

Yeah I'm not going to deny that there are a portion of Trump supporters who only support him solely on the social issues. HOWEVER, if you look at the electoral map, he's winning in states that Obama previously has won for a reason : Trade, manufacturing/ trucking jobs , jobs to which pay more then just minimum wage without heavy per-investment / time and/or a huge amount of networking . The doors to obtaining the " middle class"  those doors are closing fast unfortunately.

But at the same time, Trump is... well Trump.. you have essentially the worst of both worlds . Frankly if Bernie had won, I'm positive most of those manufacturing states ( not so much the south however ) but Ohio , Indiana , etc would have been won by him and the race wouldn't have been as close at all. Or maybe Hillary can actually take a stance against the TPP and the race wouldn't be so close....or actually address the issues that people face after their middle class job has been outsourced , haven't seen anything of that sorts yet in any speeches at all.  Its just more triangulation and foreign and social issues instead of the economic woes that plague the large swaths of the country  . Social and foreign issues don't put food on the table , Economic ones do.

Sure its not the french revolution, but the point still stands, Trump wouldn't have been as popular if there wasn't actual severe repercussions to whole communities due to adverse trade affects.

screw Trump.

99 donalds of trump on the wall

99 donalds of trump

throw to the ground

98 donalds of trump

It's also really important to think about their VP elects. Like, even if trump weren't a hate mongering mysogynist being accused of child rape, not paying his workers in full, taking land via eminent domain and attempting to ban Muslims, he still has pence as a vp supporting shit like conversion therapy and making abortions illegal.

And believe me, I'm not a HRC fan and consider myself independent (albeit I align primarily with democrats) but fucking Christ the fear and anger and ignorance riding on the back of trump's campaign genuinely terrorizes me. If he wins, my brothers and sisters of soooo many communities and cultures will suffer. :(  and that's just considering mostly domestic shit; I don't even want to think about what happens if he gains military access. :c

tl;dr I'm scared, Bernie Senpai pls save me

Also tiny double post to say that hey it might not be a giant meteor but America has such a strong distate for both candidates that imo it wouldn't be out of the question for someone to attempt an assassination on the elected.

If that indeed happened, I'm not sure what it would do to our country or how we would react.

i don't live in america, but if i was american i guess i would have to vote for hillary clinton. i hate both candidates, though.

*sigh* The FBI has stated that Hillary hasn't committed a crime, so I'm going to stand by that. I'm too young to vote, but I'd vote for her, if only to save myself from Armageddon.

Meanwhile, Trump has offended all of America in some way, shape, or form. Mentally disabled, women, Muslim, Mexican, etc.... I just can't see a man like that, who says, "Wrong" at every word his opponent says, be a world leader. What's he gonna do at negotiations? Say "You're wrong" and expect them to be okay with it? That may fly with some people, but not with world leaders.

Plus, with the rumors of him having raped a thirteen-year-old however many years ago, thinking he can do whatever he wants to women just because he's a celebrity, and his failed business ventures born from a company his father built from stepping on the little people...

Well. I'm going to leave before I start ranting nonsensibly. I'm not going to argue about this, but I implore everyone to not just blatantly choose a candidate they like. Please think about it, because I have talked with my parents, teachers, and friends about this time and time again. Quote me all you want, I'm not going to respond, because I'm sick and tired of this, and I feel like I have to prepare my house for the apocalypse no matter what happens.

Then there was the time the Pope dissed Trump.

*slowly fades out of thread*

Firstly Trump isn't banning muslims, he's said some racist things, sure, but people really need to stop spreading the 'he's deporting all mexicans and banning all muslims'. He never, ever said that. He's vetting refugees that ISIS promised to flood with Jihadists, and is deporting illegal aliens (with the promise to speed up the process to become a US citizen). If anyone here understood economics, that alone would shut the door on both Hillary and Bernie.

Little known facts because emotions are prevalent over policies, again:

  • Raising minimum wage raising taxes and inflates the price of everything
  • 3 million more people will be losing their health insurance to obama care, many companies are shutting down, he admitted himself it was a shit health care plan and doesn't care, you have to choose it anyways. If an employer doesn't want the outrageously priced 'affordable health care act' they are charged 5k per employee. Prices have tripled, some people are paying 700 monthly.
  • Who is going to pay for that free college? Ever heard of too good to be true? How does one completely erase college tuition and debt when we're 20 trillion dollars in debt? And did you consider that the government is trying to expand it's control? It already has healthcare - now it will control your education quality and what you're permitted to learn - fun fact, they got rid of civil rights and switched it to social studies, diminishing it's value and removing what wasn't fitting to their narrative. Did you know that? Did you know that a college degree is essentially worthless? Students in Japan learn more in high school than our degree graduates, our education quality has severely diminished.
  • Did you know that socialist countries are falling apart? Did you know that there is no such thing as 'democratic' socialism? Fancy term for, shocker, just socialism. Wealth redistribution is stealing. Equality is about having a fair shot no matter who you are, leveling a playing field means everyone has a chance, not that everyone is affirmative actioned into freebies because they're a minority. That is racism in itself and also means that qualifications don't matter, which means jobs aren't being done properly. Saying more women should have a job makes zero sense - more qualified people should have a job, and if they happen to be women, great.
  • 65% tax increase on big corps - they are providing you and your parents jobs. If they're taxed to that degree? Out of business. You're out of the job. Apple, Facebook, the real money launderers and billionaire CEOs who have donated to Hillary, Wall street and Sachs who are literally funding her campaign, you think they'll be taxed? Really? Why would FB's CEO "love it if Hillary became president" if she were about to lose her own company?
  • No fly zone means war with Russia. Military force against a baseless claim Russia is behind Wikileaks means war with Russia. War with Russia means nuclear war. Nukes will wipe us out. Why would you blame Russia for hacking Hillary even if they did, when she was the one who had a private, insecure server? And again, even if they hacked her, no one is acknowledging the content of her emails. They are her emails, she hasn't denied it (and when she does, 650k more come out). Anyone hear about the Spirit cooking? the NYPD ready to hold a press conference against her except the DOJ (despite having nothing to hide) keeps intervening?
  • Moral question: How are you fighting for equality if you vote for someone because they're a woman, or black, or anything like that? How are you fighting for equality if you denounce Trump every chance you get simply for being a wealthy, old, perhaps overweight white man? Aren't those all the isms you're against? You can't call yourself an intellectual and work this way. Say what you want about him, that's fine, but if you're going to contradict your own 'principals' please just shut up. She's a filthy rich racist and the only reason people vote for her are for the.. Well I don't really know, she laughs at child rapists so she isn't a champion for children, her husband was impeached for sexual assault and she runs around with him so she isn't a champion for women smearing his victims (that have been around for a while, didn't show up just the last week like some), she isn't a champion for gays as she is funded and therefore influenced by countries that believe that gays should be executed, and she isn't in favor of human rights with the state they've left Haiti in (their own people beg her to stay away from them, they are begging crying and protesting in the streets of NYC how can you ignore them but say what's in their best interest when they're telling you?)
  • Btw the people saying the FBI cleared her are complete hypocrites, as soon as they opened the investigation again everyone hated Comey, then you loved him, and went back and forth until he caved. 650k emails and nothing was bad, okay but they were all still illegal? And under oath to congress she promised she turned them all in and the director himself said that was a lie, but lied himself and said she was in the clear? Are you so stupid and complacent you'll just take that and walk? Fight, for God's sake fight it, screw Trump, just fight the mind games.

Obama literally just told illegals to vote and that it was okay - they're now flooding states big time, illegally, to vote because they can. He tried to veto the right of 9/11 victims who wanted to sue Saudi for the emotional trauma that came with the attacks (luckily, that didn't work this time). He said you're sexist if you don't vote Hillary despite running against her and winning in '08? He and Michelle said what Trump said was sexist and appaling but worship Beyonce and Jayz, have you even heard their lyrics, really?

& Bernie was a joke. Whether he had a pact with her and never intended to win, or was really screwed over from the start, he would have destroyed us. Hillary's campaign is funded by the Saudis - hell, they own the majority of twitters stocks and ICANN just handed our internet over to iran, china, russia and more - I mean what makes her the lesser of two evils? Forget the wikileaks if you want to ignore all of the blatant evidence, her admittance of a public and private opinion means she is confessing to lying to her supporters to get them to vote for her, and then telling her donors otherwise behind their back. Trump might be brutally honest and just plain offensive, but at least it's straight up.

Now I don't put my faith in anyone, not even Trump, he was indeed buddy buddy with the Clinton's and didn't seem to mind all the schemes then. All of the sexual allegations have been debunked or withdrawn, however, and at least he says he cares about America - which will never be racist, if you're an American you should be damn thrilled he's at least rallying the real patriots instead of catering to potential jihadists and taking money from the Saudis, literal demons.

I vote Trump. I am fully aware this could all be a show and have little faith in my own party, let alone any party. But the people he surrounds himself a wonderful, like Ben Carson, Trey Gowdy, Mike Pence - good people, wish they would have run and gotten the nominee instead, honestly. I don't think we really have political parties, I think we have one fucked up faction and a lot of money hungry sickos that took over a long time ago. But there is no debate who the lesser evils are if people would just get their facts straight and watch his damn speeches instead of taking whatever buzzfeed or the huff posts botches up to fit their view. I'm not defending  what he's really said that's been offensive and stupid - but I am defending what he never said, that people spread around. Deplorable, red necks, taco bowls, and super predators are what Hillary really did say - she is not the lesser of anything but decency in this country. Any woman that lies about a video to keep from offending the middle east when our soliders died to get the truth out there is nothing but evil. And don't even get me started on the spirit cooking shit. Good Lord.

If I was old enough to vote I'd vote Hillary Clinton. As someone who is a woman, and also a racial minority and also part of the LGBTQ community,  voting for Donald Trump is quite literally not in my best interest, especially with Mike Pence being his Vice President since he's pretty much voted against everything that would help further LGBTQ rights. So yeah, I would prefer Bernie but in the situation we're in now, I would vote Hillary. It has nothing with her being a woman, but more to do with the fact that Trump being president would be hell for me if we also ended up with a republican congress and senate.

Obviously Vermin Supreme. I would never distrust a man who wears a boot on his head and promises a pony for every American, and makes a law where everyone must brush their teeth. Dental hygiene is important, and neither of the 2016 candidates have focused on that matter. Pretty horrid move on their part.

I can see where Pence might not be in your best interest, but he didn't vote to jail those that marry gay, that was a democratic individual and it was spun around to blame Pence. False rumor. Hillary letting in a culture that believes LGBT should persecuted, outlawed and killed by the vast majorities doesn't help you at all, either. Just my thoughts, though.

You know Lgbtqa Muslims are a thing right? And that the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful and very happy to just enjoy their culture like we enjoy each of ours, right?

I'm aware, though this vast majority can't be spoken for, I do know that there are peaceful Muslims - that's why I said culture. That's a different category. I'm talking about Middle easterns, those with islamic backgrounds, I didn't say muslims, I'm talking about a culture not attacking a religion, but those countries have their own vast majorities that do not tolerate gays, or women. Radical islamic terrorists go after these minorities, though really they'll kill anyone - it's not a religious attack. I don't care about that majority, there are vast majorities that do not tolerate, my point is that Hillary letting potential members of ISIS flood in, those with a culture radically different from ours, would be dangerous for everyone, but especially the minorities that seem to welcome them just because of the poor minority trend. Sweden, Germany, France, Norway, they're being destroyed - that is undeniable, and the attackers are these refugees. Men, women, and children are a risk without at least vetting.

Doesn't matter, borders are closed now and we can vet them instead of letting them pour in without knowing who they are (which is strategy, not racist).

I don't live in America, and since I'm doomed cause of my prez DU30 that America isn't supporting the Philippines anymore, I wish that Bernie Sanders still in the running. Or Gary Johnson or Jill Stein. And Grade did a very good point why I want Trump or Clinton to just be last in the running.

I must confess though, that one of the highlights I was thinking about a Trump Presidency was a Twitter war between Trump and Duterte ._.
