The Knight of Fire, And Walker of Phoenix
Flare submitted a new role play:

1x1x1: All Beast's Protection Academy! - You've been swept up in the heated battle between Fantasy and Reality. Can you survive?

There was once peace, however from peace comes dismay, and even war. Humans lived peacefully with the monsters and beasts that roamed the lands. For a time the world was fine. A group of humans had decided that the beasts having free roam in the world was wrong, and it was time to control their outlandish behavior. Alexander M. Lorrick, started a small cult named, The Pure Crusaders. As the cult grew it began slaying Towns and even small provinces of beasts. Kyranto Watashibo, after many...

The auditorium started to fill up with the students of this year. They all entered and sat in random seats with the cards they have revived. Each card has a "#-#" with different numbers on it. With all of the students seated Kyranto Watashibo took the stage. "Welcome to Crest Academy. Creatures rights eternally suffer tragedy, and that my friends is why we are here. We must stand up and fight for these rights..." After a long winded speech the Headmaster left the stage and allowed the faculty to take over. "Okay, please pull out your cards now." The female said. "Your number on the card corresponds to the classroom you shall be in this year. Please read your numbers and you shall be dismissed to find your rooms, please have a good year this year. Thank you."

Leo pulled up his ticket and looked at it for a moment..."Room... 3-4." He said aloud. Looking around him he looked for anyone that he might hope to be in his class, but everyone was talking to their friends they had found. Leo was still alone trying to find a single friend. I can't believe my entire life was ruined by those damn humans... I wish that I could have just stayed with my family... Leo stood up and walked out of his row to the doors. "I hope someone interesting comes to my class..." Leo said making his way out of the auditorium.

Aisling sat in the back row of the auditorium, tugging up her arm coverings as she glanced around. These people, they were like her. No human. But that was the only life she knew for years, for nearly half of her life she was raised by humans until they threw her out to fend for herself. Now she didn't have to worry about hiding, worry about these people trying to kill her. Her gaze fell to the green tips of her fingers as they clung to the card in her hands as the headmaster droned on.

Her head jerked up when the teachers dismissed them. She swallowed hard and glanced around as students started to chatter with others they knew. She was alone here, hopefully it wouldn't be too bad though. The short woman got to her feet and tucked a short red lock behind her pointed ear. Room 3-4. It shouldn't be too hard to find. Bright green eyes found a path through the crowd as she tried to find the right room.

On her way she spied a particularly interesting looking boy with one wing. Here, wings and tails and things didn't seem so strange, but he only had one. She couldn't help but wonder what was the cause of that. Not wanting to be rude and just ask the stranger, she kept the thought to herself and silently walked just behind him towards what she hoped was the right direction of her class. Spying a sign on the wall she looked down at her paper to double check. "I need 3-4... not this one." She mumbled before moving on to check the next room.

Tomoya let out a long sigh as the headmaster's speech drew on. His stomach growled a bit as he placed his hand there. A small bag of snacks was put in front of him. He looked to his right to see one of his small yokai followers had been conveniently sat next to him. "Thanks!" he said whilst grabbing the bag. "God it pays off to have you guys around sometimes" he said underneath his breath.

After the assembly was released, Tomoya grabbed the card out of his pocket and looked at it. "Room 3-4? What the? Why am I in a third year classroom?" he questioned aloud. His follower next to him spoke up and explained how western schools are different. Tomoya sat there puzzled, "That's retarded... oh well, off we go I guess..." As he got up, he couldn't help but notice a small red-headed girl with what looked like vines or roots growing on her. He couldn't tell from this distance anyways. "Well that's different. Well, there are a lot of strange beings here, but this is something new" he mumbled to himself. He noticed she was heading for the door, so he decided to follower her for a bit. "I have time to burn before class..." he said as he followed her from a distance.

By this point, they were on the third floor. "I hate stairs..." he wheezed as he walked. One of his other followers came running up from behind grabbing his arm. "This way sir. Classroom 3-4 is over here!" he exclaimed as he pulled Tomoya past the red-headed girl. Their eyes met as he passed her. He couldn't help but wonder if she was in the same class as he was still being pulled down the hall.

Leo walked up another flight of stairs seeing a boy being pulled by another, and a small red head that they passed. Leo opened the door in front of him that let in a huge gust of air. "I found it!" he said walking into the light. His words echoed in the stair well. Leo found his way to the top of the building he was in, standing there on the roof he hopped up onto the ledge and stood there feeling the wind under his wing. "I could fly... Someday I will fly!" He yelled on the top of the building.

Leo fell backward onto the ground breaking his fall with his wing cradling him. The feeling of feathers were enjoyable to him. It reminded him of his father. "Dad... Mom... Fight hard and make sure I can see you again." Leo said reaching for the sun. The warmth on his face also felt good. The warmth, the wind... and even the whispering of the nearby trees that were blown around. "I think I will make this spot my new hideout from class." Leo said closing his eyes and starting to drift off. I can't fall asleep... I just want to lay here and be happy again. I shouldn't be around others anyway. I only have one wing... "One measly stupid wing!" He shouted sitting up with a frown on his face. "Damn humans... Took the only thing I was good for... but just one more year... I'll have it back..." he muttered to himself.

She followed the boy with the wing, and the signs that led upstairs towards this illusive class room. More feet were following her, but she didn't really care to notice until A pair moved by and the one stare at her, his eyes catching her own. He was the first to really pay her any attention. She watched him rush off down the hall, his leader heading to the destination it seemed they were all looking for.

The boy with the wing however had kept climbing the stairs instead of heading towards the room. Aisling hesitated, bright eyes looking from one direction to another before she decided to go up the stairs and see what was so interesting up there. Perhaps he had been here before? Carefully she opened the door onto the top of the building as she heard him talking, to himself it seemed. She stood there, a bit awkwardly as she watched him fall and argue with himself.

Head tilting to the side, a red strand of hair fell over her face as she finally took a step forward away from the door. "Does that mean it will grow back?" Instantly she clamped her hand over her mouth. She shouldn't have asked something like that out loud, it slipped and now she regretted it. "I'm sorry!" She blurted out. "I just... " And she couldn't lie, she physically couldn't, not that she had any intention to. "I followed you up here... I have never met people like me before and... I was curious. Everyone else here seems to have friends. It's hard to talk to groups of people... much easier when they are just.. one... person..." Her voice trailed off as her face started to get even redder. "So um, I'm going to go now. Because I will probably say something else really stupid and you'll just hate me even more." She turned quickly on her heel and went to push the door open to go inside.

It was a pull door.

She smacked hard into it and fell hard to the floor rubbing her nose and forehead. "Ow..." She mumbled as she hung her head. "That really hurt."

Finally they stopped. He ripped his hand away from the smaller male yokai. "What the hell you idiot!" he exclaimed, "I was following somebody you worthless shit!" Tomoya kicked the small boy to the floor. "Now I lost her..." he sighed in anger.

"I'm so sorry sir... I'll leave now..." the yokai whimpered as he crawled away. Now everyone nearby looked at Tomoya with either looks of disgust, fright, or confusion because of his actions. He looked around at the people as he turned around.

"WHAT?!" he exclaimed as he turned. His usually beautiful deep blue eyes, now an intimidating bright shade of crimson as he glared at the people around them. Some turned and continued their business as others ran away. Tomoya stood up straight as he composed himself. He opened the door to the room and entered. Slamming the door behind him. "TCH! Mind your own business... I was just trying to find out what she is... " he mumbled under his breath. He looked around the classroom, looking for a seat. The only places were three seats in the back, right next to each other. He slowly made his way to the back noticing the looks people were giving him because of the display outside. He didn't care.

He stared at the three seats for a moment and took the one right in the middle. At least this way if anybody who wasn't around to see the display walked in looking for a seat, he would have the chance to make friends with either of the people who would sit beside him. He put his head down on the desk for a second and looked forward. His eyes now the same shade of blue as usual. "Maybe this year I'll make friends.... I'm off to a bad start though..." he thought to himself. He pulled out a notebook from his bag; a journal of sorts. He sat there writing down the events that happened thus far in it as he waited for somebody new to walk into the room.

Leo stood up slowly and walked toward the small red haired girl that he had saw on the stairwell. "You, are you okay?" He said kneeling besides her. "You looked like you hit your head pretty hard..." He said touching her forehead to move her hair out of the way, he noticed the tattoos on her forehead and started to stare at them. Moving his face closer to look at them he realized how close his face was and pulled away quickly, looking away as well. "My name is Leo Ward and I will grow my wing back!" He said in a desperate tone of voice with a seriously look on his face. "I know I don't look like much with just one wing, but I could be powerful if I got it back... I would fly with the rest of them, and make sure to let them know I was there." Leo proclaimed to the girl sitting to his side as she held her forehead.

"Hoy, have you been following me... since the assembly?" Leo thought for a second. "I am sorry, I must have lead you the wrong way, I hope you can forgive me miss. I try to stay out of the way here, i'm not worth much without my wing." Leo stood up offering his hand to her so they could get off the roof. Looking into her eyes right then, right there. I think I knew. She was going to be my first friend here and that was that. "Hey do think we could be friends? I mean you seem alone without anyone with you, and I have always been alone. I have always really wanted a friend!" Leo said smiling for the first time that day. "I know on the outside I look appalling, but I have a nice heart..." He said shyly.

She looked up at him, still rubbing the red spot forming on her fair skin as he spoke. At least she hadn't scared him away, that was a good sign. He seemed so determined, but she wasn't sure what about, she really didn't know what he was even. When he accused her of following him she smiled a bit nervously. "Yes... but I was looking for my room too!" She added quickly. "I'd love to be your friend. I've never really had any before... people tend to... not..." She let her voice trail off and didn't finish the sentence as she smiled up at him. "You don't look appalling. You shouldn't say such things." She pushed herself up to her feet and brushed dirt off her skirt and legs, the action let her arm covers slip down, revealing more of her markings on her hands and arms before she pulled them back up.

"I've never been in a place like this before. With people that aren't that much different from me, I guess is what I mean." She commented. "Have you? I was just by myself before this, and before that, I lived with humans so... I'm not really too sure of anything here."

Her bright eyes widened for a moment. "Oh my name is Aisling." She beamed, holding out her hand, fingertips all green and the origin of the markings that snaked the way up her body. She forgot sometimes how odd of unappealing they might look to some. "It's nice to meet you." Just then a bell rang, the two minute warning to the start of classes. Her pointed ears twitched as she looked to the little object hanging near the door curiously. "Do you know what that means?"she asked him with a tilt of the head.

"Baka.. Come on, I can't believe the late bell rang already!?" Leo said helping Aisling up. "We really need to get to class... Where the hell are you suppose to go?" He said grabbing her ticket. Reading the and seeing the 3-4. My class... Leo pulled open the door and dragged her down the stairs. "Hoy, luckily we are in the same class!" Running down the stairs seeing the teacher for the class coming up stairs to the room. Leo let go of Aisling's arm,"The room is down the hall, you'll find it no time. Go!" Leo said running down the stairs to greet the professor. "Hoy, professor I was wondering where my room was..." He said. The teacher groaned and grabbed his ticket from his hand,"You are in my room, it is the fourth door on the left. No go quickly while I check on my copies." The professor walked away from Leo down the hall past his room. Thank god he didn't recognize me... Leo thought to himself walking down the hall to the room. Aisling was still standing at the door waiting for Leo. "Hoy back there are the last two seats next to him, seeing that there weren't desks right next to each other. "Too bad we can't sit directly next to each other." He said, realizing the looks he was receiving from a winged boy from across the room. More of the same stares... Leo thought walking quietly to the back of the room sitting next to the boy near the open desks.

"Ah!" She hurried after him as he pulled her along after him, running down the stairs, almost tripping over her own feet. But she smiled learning that they were in the same class. "That's lucky!" She grinned when he finally let her go. Her bright eyes looked down the hall when he pointed out the room. She walked towards it, but glanced back as Leo started to talk to a teacher, distracting him for a moment. The Fae stood in the door way waiting for him.

She gave him a smile as he caught up. Wrinkling her nose when she didn't see two seats next to each other, she found a seat in the last row, just one over from where Leo sat. Chewing on her lip Aisling tugged up her arm covers as she spied a small group of trouping Fae up in the corner. The small pixies chattering about hadn't noticed her. Hopefully they wouldn't. She didn't want them to say anything.

Aisling instead looked over to the boy between her and Leo, it was the odd boy that had passed her in the hallway before. The one she caught staring at her. She opened her mouth to say something and then closed it. Then changed her mind again. "Hey, didn't I see you earlier?" She asked, her red hair falling over her bright eyes.

Tomoya was finishing up writing in his journal as two people walked into the room. The first one was new and very peculiar. One red wing on his back. I bet he lost in in a fight. This class might be interesting... A second later, the same small girl walked in as well. Well what do you know. She actually was in my class. The boy had taken the seat to his right leaving the girl with only one choice in seating. He quickly put his journal away in his inner jacket pocket as she looked up and started to walk towards him.

Ah shit, I hope she didn't catch me looking at her earlier... After a moment, she sat beside him. He could feel her staring at him. Oh God, she does remember... She then spoke up, asking him if she had seen him earlier. "Y-yeah. O-one of my followers thought it would be nice enough to show me the classroom" he stuttered. His face now getting slightly red. As he spoke, he could now tell that she didn't have vines or roots upon her. They appeared to be more like tattoos. He couldn't help but stare at them for a moment. As he caught himself, he pulled back. "I'm sorry... I haven't really seen people like you before..." he mumbled. His face now getting redder. Ah shit am I at a bad start. I am horrible with making friends...

As the professor entered in with a stack of papers and walked behind the desk setting them down. Addressing the class as Mr. Winchester. He begins handing out forms for the kids to write a page about themselves and it will be presented tomorrow. After reading the requirements of the class the professor packed up and left the room, almost as quickly as he entered. The students eagerly left the room except Leo, Aisling, and Tomoya.

Leo looked up at the winged boy leaving the staring him down as he left the room," Hoy Aisling, want to go grab food somewhere?" He said with Tomoya in between them. "I think I need to blow off some steam, maybe we can go write the paper together too?" Leo stood up slowly stretching a bit and extending his wing out. A warm breeze filled the room, it was warm and smelled slightly of a forest. "Can you find the time?" Leo said looking at he now directly over Tomoya.

Her face turned a shade of red and she looked away. "Y-yeah... I'm not exactly the most common." She commented quickly before the professor entered and started talking. She rubbed at the marks on her fingers as the papers were being passed around. The questions weren't all that appealing. Most of them were about her parents and her home, where she was from and what she liked to do. Things she didn't want to answer.

Aisling was glad when the professor left and Leo stood. She got to her feet and moved around her desk. She took a deep breath and smiled as the warm air from his wing surrounded her. A grin spread across her face. She almost giggled. "You smell like home." She commented.

Grabbing her paper she held it in her hands. "Yeah we can go grab some food and uh... work on the paper I guess." The paper still didn't sound exciting. Her bright eyes fell on Tomoya. and she chewed her lip a bit. "I'll see you later."

Tomoya sat there as the class ended and looked down at the paper. Family huh? wonder what that's like? He looked up at the boy to his right as he stood up. He hasn't even acknowledged my presence, yet looked in my direction. Wonder what his problem is? The boy then began to speak over his head, something that Tomoya really disliked. He heard the small girl say goodbye to him, which he honestly didn't expect. Tomoya stood up and turned towards her. "So your name's Aisling, huh? Well it was nice meeting you. And yeah, I'll see you later" he responded. As he turned back towards the boy, Tomoya glared before starting to walk away. He turned back as he reached the door and said to the girl, "Oh yeah, my name is Tomoya. Tomoya Furukawa." He smiled a little bit as he turned and walked out of the room.

Outside the room was one of his other followers, eagerly waiting for an order. "Here you go. Write this for me. You probably know about me just as much as I do" he sighed as he handed the paper off to the yokai. Tomoya put his arms behind his head as he continued down the hall towards the cafeteria. Maybe I'll go get some food...

Leo walked down the stairs with Aisling catching up with the rest of the crowded hall ways of the school. I can still feel him behind us... Leo walked down the stairs next to Aisling still on the way to the cafeteria. He stepped down from the last step taking a few steps looking at the girl next to him. "aisli..." he said bumping into a few people in front of him. The feeling of feathers on his face for a moment caught his attention and "Are you F@#$ing kidding me.." He thought to himself as he looked up to see the boy with white shoulder length hair's wings spread and stand straight up as he turned around to see Leo standing behind him.

"A wretch like you barely deserves to go to this school Leo. You should have died in the out side world, you are a disgrace even to your tramp of a mother!" He said throwing a fist into Leo's face. "Nothing will be nicer than finishing what my mother started." The boy said watching Leo fall to the ground from the unexpected punch. Putting his hand down and looking at Aisling for a second, The white haired boy's face was kicked from Leo. Leo had opened his wing to catch himself, and used it as a new center of gravity to flip backwards and kick the boy in the face. "Kai, I don't think a cheap punch is going to keep me down, you full breed bastard!"

Kai, stumbling backwards was helped by a few of his buddies that had stopped after hearing the commotion. "Leo, you know my family has strong ties with other families, I have friends here other than you!" Kai said pointing at Leo signaling for the friends that caught him to hold him down. Kai walked over to Leo and started stepping on Leo's head now that it was on the ground. "By the way that is Tal-Kai to you now, you commoner scum!"

Slowly making his way to the cafeteria, Tomoya heard a commotion from up ahead. Great, what else could be ever so interesting... As he made his way through the now gathering crowd, he finds himself next to Aisling. He looks at her, then in front of him. The bastard who hangs around her was being cornered by some thugs. By the looks, it's a phoenix and some scummy yokai from back home. But why are they helping the phoenix? He looked back at Aisling who appeared worried and maybe somewhat frightened. He knew what he had to do.

"OI!! What's going on here? 6 versus 1? That doesn't seem really fair. Mind if I join in?" Tomoya yelled out. The yokai around the boy with one wing turned to him.

"Who the hell are y-......" the one started. Frozen in mid sentence as he stared into the crimson red of Tomoya's eyes. The dark look on his face, how he held himself, and how he dressed. They knew exactly who he was. Without a second thought, the yokai scattered. Stumbling over themselves just to get away.

"Oh, come on guys.... It's not as fun if you run away...." he stated in a raspy tone. "Well, are you going to run too, like your friends?" Tomoya questioned the phoenix boy. Tomoya helped the boy with one wing off of the ground. "You should really act cooler" he said to the one winged boy, "or else you'll look bad in front of the ladies." He grinned at him, "You ready to fight yet?"

"I think I can manage, remind me to thank you when this is all over Tomoya." Leo said pulling up his fists. "Hoy, Tal-Kai. Why is that even after your older brother cut off my wing, was I still able to kick his ass even while he was flying?" Leo said folding his wing in against his back. Kai turned around from Leo, and Tomoya and laughed. "I won't be double teamed the odds are simple against my favor. Even if you are just a little one winged brat no one will know what kind of fight you'll give until your wing comes back. How long has it been missing now, six-teen years?" Kai said laughing harder now. "I will just have to clip both of them for my mother, and brother." Kai took off with his wings up into the air and away from Tomoya and Leo.

Leo turned around and looked at Aisling," I didn't hurt you when I fell back did I? I'd rather not hurt one of my new friends." Leo said putting emphasis on the "s". "Tomoya, without you I would have been beaten to a pulp. Thank you I think you are most trust worthy than you seem. I am sorry that I judged you from what you look like." Leo said with a bow. "I am one to judged on appearances... I have been a half breed for six-teen years now. I am surprised either of you have any interest in me." He said feeling sorry for himself, again. Leo looked up to Kai in the air in flight, flying over the middle of the courtyard now beginning to land. " I swear if I ever actually get my hands on that guy.. However, Tomoya. Wanna come with us to get some lunch?" He said smiling at Aisling and then Tomoya. "We could be the three best friends, y'know?"

it all happened so fast. They were just walking, and then someone had attacked Leo. There were fists and wings and the poor girl didn't know what was going on. "Leo!" She cried out as she watched another winged boy punch him and knocked him back, nearly into her. She jumped back, hitting another strange boy behind her. She didn't know what to do. Fighting wasn't exactly her strong suit. They were throwing insults at one another, half-breed? she didn't understand.

Then Tamoya showed up and everything changed. Like a flip had been switched, the attacker left when Tamoya simply looked at him. Aisling was even more confused than before. Finally Things had settled down and Leo looked at her. "N-no I'm fine." She smiled. "Just... confused." She admitted. But at the mention of friends she smiled. "Lunch sounds good." It would be nice to not eat alone, to have people to hang out with and to call friends. Aisling couldn't remember ever having that before. It was an exciting prospect she was ready to take advantage of. She hooked one of her arms through each of theirs and started off but then stopped suddenly. "Wait... where's the cafeteria?" She looked up at them.

Tomoya looked across the courtyard a little flustered by Aisling's actions. "G-god, don't you know anything? Fine, come with me" he said attempting to act cool. Friends huh? Is this what it's like? I'm not to sure about this, but I kinda like this feeling. Tomoya, Leo, and Aisling made their way through the courtyard and towards the cafeteria. "Man I'm starving.... Oh by the way, I don't think we have been introduced properly, have we?" He asked the boy whom he just saved. His stomach growling as he talked.

Leo walked with the other two following to the café. "Tonight is the orientation dinner. We will all pick our roommates. You guys better be careful to get the roommates you want." Leo said as they walked into the large dinning area. Leo unlink his arm and walked to the left avoiding bumping into the now stopped pair. "Okay, so here are some rules. Don't go over to the left side. That is where the seniors sit. If you want to keep fighting to a minimum don't go near there. Also we should probably eat out side today. They have mostly everything you have ever wanted. So let's keep ourselves hidden... Okay?" Leo said walking to the line away from Tomoya and Aisling avoiding Tomoya's question. "We will be friends when we sit down and talk." Leo said waving his hand above his head to Tomoya.

Aisling let the boys lead her to where they would be getting food, despite their awkwardness. Then when Leo let her go, she let go of Tamoya as well, clasping her hand's behind her back. "Picking room mates?" She echoed softly to herself. "But I don't know anyone..." She frowned and looked up at Leo as he started to walk away. Still following him, her eyes drifted back to the other guy she had drug along before looking at Leo's back once more. "I don't want to hide anymore." she mumbled.

Once they had found a suitable table, Aisling took her seat and pulled her feet up onto the chair with her. "So.. Why did those guy just stop fighting when you showed up?" Her eyes looked to Tamoya. "All you did was look at them." She moved a bright piece of hair behind her pointed ear.

Tomoya continued to walk as Leo followed Aisling unlinked arms. Listening to Leo talk, he could tell that he was avoiding his question. Tomoya caught Aisling looking back and he quickly turned away trying to look disinterested. The term "roommates" caught his attention as Leo talked. Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I kinda just expected to be forced to room with some of the weaklings (yokai). Aisling sat herself at the table with her legs pulled up onto her seat. Leo still standing next to him at the round table.

Tomoya just stood next to the table, unwilling to sit down. He turned to Aisling as he heard her asking a question. "Oh, those guys? I beat them up a long time ago for picking on a friend of mine" he lied. Tomoya then looked over at Leo, thinking of how he was ignored. He HATED to be ignored like that. "Like I was saying earlier, nice to meet you" speaking through his teeth; now forcing a smile. He didn't want to lose the chance to have friends. Tomoya felt feelings of distrust towards Leo, disliking him more and more as he spoke. But he figured that if he doesn't act friendly with Leo, that Aisling wouldn't want to be his friend either. "And if you don't mind me asking, why do you know so much about this place? Aren't you supposed to be new here like us?" he inquired.

"Well, I am glad you are still able to to smile Tomoya. I thought that if I treated you poorly that you would go into a rage again. It is nice to meet you as well." Leo said putting his hand out to Tomoya. "I am glad that I can trust you, not only in a fight, but to keep your cool too." Leo looked at Aisling smiling,"My plan worked huh?" He looked back to Tomoya with a more serious face. "I have been at this school for about three years now as a take in by the headmaster himself. I skipped high school basically, and I am now old enough to actually be enrolled here." He said putting air quotes around "Old enough." Leo's face went blank a bit as he remembered his mother's and father's last words to him. "I am certain they are dead.." He said quietly out loud, loud enough for Aisling, and Tomoya to hear.

Leo face went pale and memories began to flood his mind, a tear fell from his face. Leo looked down and away from his new friends and began laughing," I think we have spent enough time talking about friendship, we should go get ourselves some food!" He said hanging his head and walking to the line. As Leo walked away from the table a small hush went across the crowds of people. You could clearly here the words, "Half-breed!" being muttered as he walked. More words echoed from the crowd, "Can you even fly!?", "Why are you even at a school for beasts if you can't even fight like one?". However one phrase rang out for everyone to see. "Does it make you sad to think your parents died not in the war, but for treason of the mythical world!?" It was the Kai standing with a different group of boys yelling it over all of the others in the cafeteria.

Leo walked still onward, he had food thrown at him and was even spit on. "You are just a pampered baby that was brought here by the headmaster!" Kai yelled again. "Everyone hates you. Your friends will come to hate you, And then one day I will kill you." Kai said laughing.

Leo stopped for a moment and looked back behind him Tomoya and Aisling listening to everything everyone had said. He smiled and tilted his head to the side. Turning back around he ran for the door and left the cafeteria. I won't have friends, I can't be popular, I might as well give myself to the humans. Nothing will ever happen for me here, and I can't expect for the headmaster to intervene with his schedule. I just won't... be a part of this world anymore. No powers, no wings, not even parents... I was born to be alone... Leo sat at the line of the forest to the east of the school, where he often hid. Not even the head master could find him here. He just wanted to be alone.

"Good Riddance!" Kai yelled. "I never thought we could get rid of him, but I think he may be gone for good. Maybe we should send a search party for the thrill of the hunt. Whom ever finds hims gets the kill." Kai walked back to his seat and began eating his meal. The stairs up to him were blocked, it was a part of a different section that only a few, higher class monsters could reach. Others began to stare at Aisling and Tomoya. "Are you really friends with that thing!?"

Aisling smiled as she watched the two boys start tot talk to one another. Hey maybe they all would end up being friends! She adjusted the covers on her arms as she listened to Leo explain to them how he knew so much about the school and how thengs worked. But something seemed wrong, his face went pale and she saw a tear roll down his cheek. The girl's legs slipped off the chair as she straightened and looked up at him. "Leo?" She said softly as he turned and started to walk away, mentioning food.

Swallowing hard, Aisling looked up at Tomoya before looking back to Leo. Thats when the jeers started. Nasty names and verbal assaults of all kinds were thrown at the one winged teen as he tried to walk through the room. A knot formed in the small Fae's chest as she watched the instigator, the same phoenix from earlier, egg on the crowds. She glared at him before looking back to the boy she was trying to befriend just as he smiled and ran out of the room. She hesitated before jumping to her feet. Her bright eyes looked up at Tomoya and then to the door.

She moved to follow when the last question reached her ears. She whipped around. "Yes! Yes I am his friend and I don't give a damn what you think of it!" Then she took off running in the last direction she saw him go. Aisling found herself in a court yard, looking around towards the outer grounds of the school property. Her eyes couldn't see anything and it made her heart sink a bit. "Where'd you go Leo?" She mumbled with a sigh. Looking up at the tree she was standing under she asked it. "Did you see anything?" The plant seemed to move under her hand and she grinned. "Thanks." She ran again towards the eastern edge of the property. There were plenty of trees there, and plenty of trees to ask. They all said the same thing. Keep going. Their boughs sweeping and pointing on an unfelt breeze directing her to the one she sought.

The Fae slowed her pace when she finally spotted him sitting under a tree. Silently, her small feet carried her up behind him. Dropping to her knees beside him she wrapped her arms around his neck in hug and held onto him for a moment. "You scared me you know. You don't have to run away... or face those jerks alone." She let him go and sat back giving him a soft smile under her red cheeks.

Tomoya stood there listening to Leo. Plan? What plan? But Leo continued before Tomoya could ask about it. Leo continued to explain about how he knew so much of this place. But his face went pale soon after; followed by a tear rolling down his face. "Oi, Leo! are you alright?" he asked concernedly. Aisling had gotten out of her chair now, for she too was worried about Leo.

Leo than began to walk away while mumbling something about food. As he walked, jeers and slurs came from around the area. All aimed at the boy with a lone wing. Somewhere from the upper class beast section, a section where powerful and purebred aristocrat children sit for lunch, Tomoya heard a familiar voice. It was Kai's. Acting all high and mighty from his perch. His insults were the worst of all. He said somethings about his parents that were probably nobody's business but Leo's, but that just made Tomoya all the more irate. His hands clenched in fists within his coat pockets, he stood there as food and more were thrown at Leo. Leo soon after, ran out of the cafeteria area followed by Aisling soon after. But before she left, she turned back and admitted that yes she is his friend.

He thought on her actions for a moment as she left. Baka.... You were trying to put up a face in front of everyone all this time just to show your true colors now? The fact that Kai said horrible things about Leo's parents, hadn't left his mind. Being reborn again as the same person, Tomoya had never experienced the idea of family. And so, to hear someone disrespect someone like that, enraged Tomoya even more. A very small black aura started appearing around Tomoya's body. From a distance, you would never see the aura. But the people nearby could tell something was going on. He walked slowly towards the stairs leading to the upper section where Kai was seated. He got glances and looks as he walked by other tables. Tomoya kept his head down as he walked closer to the stairs.

One of the bigger beasts near the bottom walked towards him. "Small weaklings like yourself don't belong up there. Move along" the beast said with a sneer right in Tomoya's face. Tomoya looked up at the beast with his eyes, his bright crimson red eyes. His aura now thicker and more abundant. Tomoya yanked the beast's head down next to his by his tie as he whispered into his ear. The beast grew pale quickly, now shaking. As Tomoya whispered, it was as if there was steam coming from his mouth. Like it was cold. As he let go of his tie, the beast fell backwards. White as a ghost, and struggling to run away. He was afraid.

Tomoya continued up the stairs. Everyone's eyes now on him as he approached Kai's table. "What are you doing here you lowly scum? Anyone who hangs with that half-breed isn't even worthy of attending this school. Leave before I k-" he tried to intimidate Tomoya as he walked closer, but Tomoya had suddenly disappeared from his sight. Tomoya now behind Kai's chair grabbed the collar of Kai's jacket and threw him into the nearby railing. Kai looked back to see who could have done such a thing. All he saw was Tomoya. His aura so thick now, that the only part of his face that you could see were his bright crimson eyes and the steam of his breath.

Kai grabbed his head in pain. As he brought his hand down, he saw nothing but blood on his hands. As he looked back up in fear, Tomoya was no longer there, but next to him. Standing ominously over him. Kai's friend's tried to come and help, but Tomoya's followers had been keeping them at bay. Even they seemed more vicious than normal, as if powered by his rage. Tomoya grabbed Kai by the face and lifted him off of the ground. Kai struggled hard to get loose, but he just couldn't shake Tomoya's grip.

"I'm going to tell you a couple things before I humiliate you, alright Kai?" Tomoya asked the helpless boy. "One, never make fun of someone else's family. 'Cause some of us aren't lucky enough to have that privilege. Two, the only person not worthy of being here is you. And three, if you EVER say anything to my friends again......" he leaned in close to Kai's face as he finished, "I'll kill you in cold-blood." After he spoke, his dark aura wrapped around Kai's wings, enveloping them whole. Tomoya let go of Kai and proceeded to walk away. as Kai hit the floor, the aura slowly disappeared....but so had Kai's wings. Everyone moved out of Tomoya's path as he walked towards the door, heading out to find where Aisling and Leo had run off.
