[Jay Windse]

"Nothing." Niko shifted.

[Aspy Ink]

"Niko, please tell mw."He said as he sat next to him, giving him a pleading look.

 

[Jay Windse]

Niko curled up and shifted uncomfortably.


»JW

 

[Aspy Ink]

"Niko, please."He said softly as he placed a hand on his shoulder gently.

 

[Jay Windse]

Without thinking, Niko reached up to rest his hand on Alec's. He sighed softly. "I don't want to bore you with my sob story."

 

[Aspy Ink]

"Yeah, well, I'm here to listen Niko."He said as he looked at him.

 

[Jay Windse]

Niko looked sideways. He was still nervous, as he'd never told anyone about him.

[Aspy Ink]

"Niko, please tell me. I won't judge."He said gently as he looked at him, his hand still resting on his shoulder.

 

[Jay Windse]

"I...I was just thinking about my past." Niko stammered, looking at the floor between them.


»JW

 

[Aspy Ink]

"Do you want to talk about it?"He asked softly as he looked at him.

 

[Jay Windse]

Niko shrugged. "I...I've never told anyone."


»JW

 

[Aspy Ink]

"Well it's up to you Niko. I won't force you."He said softly.

 

[Jay Windse]

Niko looked up at Alec, uncertainty flashing in his bright blue eyes.


»JW

 

[Aspy Ink]

"I promise Niko. I will not judge."He said as he looked at him with a soft smile.

 

[Jay Windse]

Niko glanced down. "Well, I have been alone most of my life. But when I was a kid, I went through many sets of parents-caretakers, if you will-and every single one of them...Every one hated me. My birth parents kept me for a whole six years, but only as some kind of abusive tool. That's all they did. I have so many scars.." Niko whispered, and closed his eyes.

[Aspy Ink]

Alec frowned and gently rubbed his back."I would never let anything like that happen to you Niko. I promise."He said as he continued to try and comfort him.

 

[Jay Windse]

"It already has. I have to live with it every day. You know why I've always been alone? I don't trust poeple. I believe they're all out to get me. I hallucinate my own death constantly; every time in some different, insanely vicious way." He looked at Alec. "The only reason I followed you is because I saw something in you I could trust. I don't know what. But I did. And I still see it, otherwise I wouldn't have said anything. Had I been with someone else, they wouldn't have even gotten a hello." He said this truthfully, pouring his emotions, his very existence, into his words.


»JW

 

[Aspy Ink]

"I will never let anything like that happen to you again. I promise Niko. As long as you're with me, nothing bad will happen to you. I care about you. And I've never cared for anyone like this."Je said as he placed his hand on his mid back.

 

[Jay Windse]

At that, Niko half broke down, tears coming to his bright blue eyes. He looked over at Alec, and wrapped an arm around his waist. He buried his face in Alec's shoulder and closed his eyes, breathing in sharply as his throat burned from oncoming tears. "Thank you." He managed.

[Aspy Ink]

Alec wrapped his arms around him and held him close."You're welcome Niko."He said as he held him close.

 

[Jay Windse]

Niko curled up against Alec, feeling safe in his touch. He let his hands gently, slightly rest against his stomach.

Alec looked down at him as je placed his hands on his stomach but he said nothing as he continued to hold him close.

 

[Jay Windse]

Niko closed his eyes, and for the first time in years, relaxed, silent tears coming down his face.

Alec sighed silently at the tears and shook his head. He still held him close however, staying true to his words. He was there for Niko.

 

[Jay Windse]

Niko curled up tightly and then pushed himself away from Alec, wiping at his face, giving a mumbled apology, and looking down in shame.
