michael landed near the door panting, "yes and yes..but we have to hurry the gate wont stay open long ok? be ready to spread wing and fly" he grabbed some of their belongings and walked back outside.


seraphine was getting nervous again, "so soon..what if we cant do it?" she fidgeted and looked at them both with a worried face, it was happening so quick and it showed on her face that she feared it.
 
Jack kissed her and spread his wings ready to take off when Micheal gave the word." well be fine just fly as fast as you can and we will be alright." he held her close and even though he was worried he wore a hopeful smile and waited to take flight
 
seraphina sighed and tried to feel braver than she actually felt but being beside michael and jack made her feel more confident about this, "ok..lets go then" she smiled lightly and grabbed a bag spreading her dark as night wings behind her as she walked out the door.


michael looked around them, his huge white wings glowing in the light, "alright..seems we are good to take off, now is as good as it can get" he nodded and took to the air going high above the trees. he motioned for seraphina and jack to follow, his face showing his impatience and eagerness to get to the portal before it closed on them.


(sorry about that lee, quick things came up and couldnt get to the laptop till now)
 
Jack nodded and jumped off the ground and flew into the air, held his hat and motioned for seraphine to come on. This was really happening they were going to have a family and live on earth. He went after Micheal but, went only about half speed so seraphine could catch up to them, because he didn't know how the pregnancy would affect her flight
 
she held the small bag in her arms and stretched her wings pushing the muscles hard to lift her off the ground, she wobbled a bit in the air as her newly found weight difference effected how easy it was to take off. once she was in the air and near jack flying was much easier and more even especially so when she got used to the balance.


michael looked back at them to make sure they were following, "just stay behind me and go as fast as you can, time isnt a luxury we have right now and i wish to get you both there safely" beyond the tops of the trees a swirling mass could be seen. that was where the portal for human antry was located.
 
Jack held on to seraphine's hand and told her to hold on. His aura grew and his speed went beyond that of Micheal's and he landed down right in front of the portal and searched seraphine over and asked," you ok there?" he was afraid he may have hurt her or the baby by going that fast.
 
seraphine looked at him weird but held on, allowing herself to hold the bag with one arm. she yipped a bit when he started going fast and tucked her wings in to keep them from hurting her and to allow her to move with him just as fast. when they landed she held him tightly, "a fair..warning might be due next time" she fixed her disheveled hair and looked at the large portal.


michael landed near them, "i guess speed was no problem then.." he sat the bags down and looked up. the portal seemed like a giant purple black vortex that if you looked away from it ever so slightly it might resemble a galaxy. it came from the divided sky and connected onto the earth by their feet. "ok so heres the deal..angela will you both at the spot you arrive on, she will direct you to your temporary housing and make sure you were not followed. do not leave each others side and do not use any powers for at least two days, the line between magic and mortals there is thin is you slip up even a bit your whole cover could be blown. got it?" he looked at the two very seriously.
 
Jack nodded, grabbed his bag, and made a wallet appear with all the info he need to be in the mortal world and said," thank you Micheal and I'm .... sorry about the other day." he held out his hand and was hoping he would shake it but he didn't think he would. He held seraphine close and waited for her to say her goodbye
 
michael folded his arm and arched his eyebrow, "you know..this just might be the first time ive had any respect for a demon like you" he sighed and shook his hand, a small smirk could be seen on his lips. "take care of her jack..of both of them, not the way we were all afraid to" she seemed a bit sad when he glanced at seraphine knowing he could have been better to her.


seraphine hugged jack but came away to hug michael, "you all might not have been the most friendliest but you were all i had so i thank you. im also thankful for your help with all this and hope you dont get in to much trouble when this is over. you or angela. be sure to come see us often especially when taylor comes" she smiled and seemed to have tears in her eyes but they never ran down her cheeks as she scooted back to jack taking her her own bag as well.
 
Jack smiles as he said that and took their bags and led seraphine thought the portal which felt weird like some just blew a gigantic fan in your face, when the feeling subside they were standing in front of a small motel and in the front was a graceful looking woman looking right at them, that must be Angela.
 
seraphine caught her breathe when walking through out portal and exhaled when they were out taking in the smell of fresh air. she felt much heavier even without her wings and her skin tingled with the border between magic and mortality. when a light blonde haired women with thin glasses walked up to them she smiled, "hi ange" the older angle just grinned at them and gave a slightly weird look to jack. "hello seraphine..im glad you made it alright and do hope you had no troubles." seraphine shook her head and held jacks hand while she could. "well i got you both the suite at the top..money will be going in daily to keep you there as long as needed till your home is found and secured" seraphine was shocked they were able to do that but wasnt to surprised either.


(heading to bed yet again, heh. but i dont have packing tomorrow and should have a calm day so ill be on like normal. goodnight)
 
Jack nodded and thanked the angel and headed up the elevator with seraphine close. When they reached there room he let her in and scanned the area to make sure everything was ok. When he walked in he locked the door and laid on the bed, it was soft, and warm." its not much, but it'll do for now." he saw they had a TV and turned it on. He flipped thought the channels just to see what type of shows were on. Thank goodness they had modern tech down in hell.
 
seraphine seemed to be in awe the entire time they were in the hotel lobby, the dress and modern look to everything had her looking around constantly. even the new sounds of cars outside and music playing aloud that sounded nothing like the instruments of the 1700's. when jack led her to the elevator she jumped when the metal door slid open and the whole way up she stayed close to jack, pressing their bodies together. "i dont like this machine.." she mumbled lightly waiting to get off and when the door opened again she quickly got off and sighed with relief, she walked to their door and at least that was normal. they walked in and again she was wide eyed, so many thing were different. the bed, the kitchen and the tv had her locked on it in surprise.
 
Jack smile and put his arms around her," so how do you like the 21 St century?" he looked at her and saw that she was so amazed by all the new technology. He chuckled and asked," so what do you want to learn about first?"
 
She was kneeling in front of the tv abd looked back at him, "I uh...I don't know honey I mean this is just..all so new to me abrd there's just so much.I'm glad our baby will know all this stuff as they grow unlike me" she rubbed her stomach and all of a sudden started to feel more sick then she did in purgatory. She geeks up her hand and exceed full she find the bathroom, she threw up in the toilet and held her hair away from it.
 
Jack followed her to the bathroom and said," I thought this may happen. The purgatory lessen the effects of the pregnancy and now they are coming to human level." he held her hair back and gently rubbed her back and waited for her to stop before he spoke again
 
she coughed and sniffled, looking at him teary eyed, "so far the human is just as i remember it..other than the updates to society.." she hung her head low and sighed starting to feel exhausted suddenly. the human world was really going to take some getting used to again, but she was happy to feel human again.
 
Jack helped her up and guided her to the bed and set her down on it. He set next to her and smiled one arm around her," well we finally made it now all we need to do is wait for Micheal again." he chuckled and rubbed seraphine's stomach gently. There new lives would begin any day now and he could hardly control his excitement
 
she sighed and lie on her back smiling peacefully as he rubbed her stomach, "im not sure how long that will take but for now im content and happy to be here with you jack.." she smiled up at him the sleep coming over her and her eyes fluttered closed.
 
Jack laid down beside her and gently kissed her, he smiled and said," I don't care how long it takes I just want you two to be safe." he pulled her in close and fell asleep right there with seraphine in his arms
 
the morning like came in through the curtains, seraphine groaned and rolled over pressing her face against her lovers chest. she didnt want to wake jack but wanted to just lie there and take him in on this first morning. earth was a lot different now and she herself felt different, heavier and more grounded..not floaty and free like in heaven and not the kind of feeling you get in purgatory. "today is sure to be interesting.." she sighed lightly and closed her eyes waiting for when jack woke up not feeling like getting up herself at the moment.


(and so the busy weekend begins)
 
Jack woke up to the beautiful morning light coming in through the window and felt seraphine against him. He put his arm around her and kissed her head gently," morning Mrs. Douglas how are you feeling today." he loved being back on earth it was like seeing an old friend for the first time in awhile
 
she kept her face pressed against him, her hair still that sleek white was now shining an off white with hints of dull silver. she pulled back just a bit, enough to speak to him clearly. "my stomach is much better..i wonder if now ill have to start seeing a human doctor or something or if ill be fine since im still technically not human"
 
Jack chuckled and brushed some hair behind her ear," well I think you'll be find but if you want to see one then we can." he kissed her lovingly and then went down to her stomach and placed his forehead on it and said," good morning Taylor I hope you slept well, you did that's good well what do you think we should do today, nothing ok then." he kissed seraphines stomach and looked up at her and smiled
 
she was holding onto him and kissed him back sweetly and sleepily and almost rolled over as he slid down and kissed her stomach. ever kiss made her skin warm and she smiled at the feeling. when he was talking to taylor she laughed lightly, "your cute sometimes i hope you know that..and a little weird but i think your much more fun that way"
