she looked down a bit and smiled once they were in the kitchen placing her hands atop his, "im not quite sure..i could make a bread or something with vegetables..its quite endless" she rested her head against his, "what did you enjoy eating in life?" she wanted to know so that she could make something he enjoyed and see him smile.
 
" hmmm good question. I always enjoyed the fried ham and eggs at the inn at the edge of Boston." he couldn't believe he still remember that, but he couldn't help but smile." so what was your favorite breakfast when you were alive." he ask. He was probably thinking it had something to do with bread since she helped run a bakery
 
she knew exactly what she could make him then and she kissed his cheek moving away from him to get things ready, "i like croissants in the morning, with tea usually that my mom made for us" she laughed a bit, "some days it was like having dessert for breakfast depending on a feeling or glaze" she had some potatoes appear and some fresh eggs as well as chopped ham.
 
Jack grinned and walked to the door and before he went outside he looked over his shoulder and said," ill be back in a sec I just want to make sure everything is ok outside just yell when breakfast is ready, bye I love you." with that he headed out the door and wondered around near the forest part of the purgatory and he saw the tree he carved into. When he approached it he heard something in the distance further into the forest. He drew his sword and slowly walked in deeper into the forest
 
she started chopping potatoes when he started to head out, "o-oh um..ok i love you too jack please be safe out there" she smiled at him though she was sure her worry showed through. she continued to chop potatoes and put a pan up on the stove tuning the burner on and throwing the potatoes on as well. the days seemed to go by so fast here..then again she doesnt even know what time of day it was or the date. when you die its like your lost in zone day and night doesnt exist neither do dates. for all she knew they have been here for weeks now.
 
Jack was about to head back when he caught a glimpse of something moving from tree to tree. He quickly turned around and the thing he saw at the end of his blade was Michael. Jack was starting to fill with anger. He looked a the archangel." you better have a good reason for bringing me out here, and if there isn't well lets just say you won't be having any headaches for the rest of time."
 
michael had his arms folded, the one that was broken seemed all healed and better like nothing ever happened, "be lucky i dont start a fight with you here and now jack.." he glared at the demon and had his own sword at his hip when needed. "just be lucky i wasnt azazel this time...at least i wouldnt try and hurt seraphine.."
 
Jack saw the demon unarmed, he sheathed his sword," so what did I so this time was it me marrying her or us making love again I would just love to see what trouble I'm in for now." he meet the angels glare and grinned. He was just waiting to see why did big guy sent his head angel
 
he sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, "trust me its not like i want to be down here with you hearing about all this stuff..but apparently the man upstairs find you both important and he told me to come down here and warn you" her ran his fingers through his hair and groaned as if this was all one big mistake and that this should be someones elses job. "he said something big will happen soon..and azazel will know soon enough and he will just be more interested in seraphine..she will be in danger..she may not be an angel anymore but he still watched out for her. in fact i dont why but he watches you to" he shrugged as he adjusted his sword.
 
Jack laughed but in a way that made him seem more cruel," don't you think I know azazel will get more interested with seraphine, hell I spent centuries in hell with the guy and I know him he won't stop until he gets her and I'm not going to let that happen, and what is so big that it envoles us were a neutral party if you guys hadn't noticed."
 
he seemed to growl at jack in anger, "dont you see im trying to help you! i dont know what it is the big man simply told me to warn you both and the fact your both in neutral territory makes it all the worse. your almost like open game" he felt he knew what was going on but it was something god wouldnt even tell him about which made his curiosity boil over but he decided to keep it to himself and the he would probably figure it out soon enough if he was right.
 
Jack turned his back to Michael and went up into the air a bit." oh and thanks for the warning man." he smiled at Micheal and headed back to the house. Luckily he didn't sense azazel when he arrived back home he was grateful, and when he walked inside he smell that breakfast smelled great." it smells great in here honey." he sat at the table while she finished up
 
michael sighed and spread his wings opening a portal to take him back to heaven then disappeared.


seraphine smiled, "your back right on time love..how was your walk?" she served friend potatoes with bits of egg ham and onion on a plate and spread some cheese over it. she brought it over to jack and placed a glass of milk by it. she then served herself some food and sat by him curious at what had taken so long, "i was worried something had happened"
 
Jack looked over at her and grinned," oh nothing much I just ran into Micheal and he told me to watch out for you, because azazel has become, how should I put this interested in you ever since we saw him and that god said that something big is going to happen." he then took a bit of the food on his plate and said," this is amazing."
 
she was about to take a bite of her food and stopped half way looking at him, putting her fork back down, "w-what? you say this so smoothly..isnt this a big deal?" she was a bit shocked that he came back untouched knowing he ran into michael and the fact azazel now had interest in her made her get goosebumps. "whats so amazing?"
 
Jack swallowed and said," the cooking in amazing and I'm not really that fazed by it because what ever happens we can get through it." he took another bite and swallowed. He hugged her and whispered, "don't worry we'll be fine no matter what."
 
seraphine couldnt get rid of the unease she felt deep down, she ate some of the food but mainly focused on her drink. "im still worried jack..we arent exactly in the safest place, its safer in our home but they can still get inside" when he hugged her she felt a little better. she wanted to change the subject, "how long do you think we have been here? its hard to tell ya know..i never kept time in heaven im pretty sure you didnt either in hell and here we have no night or day we just call it as we want it"
 
Jack looked at her and smiled," I think were in the 21st century, but I couldn't tell you more after that, and I think we've been here a week or two because azazel wouldn't have came her unless I had to go back to hell. I was on leave from my duties for a week when I met you the second time. That was how I usually spent my free time in the purgatory." he felt like azazel could attack at any minute and if he knew azazel he would make his move soon. So until he does jack told himself he need to be with seraphine at all times
 
she finished her drink, "wow..about two weeks since we made this home.." she was shocked that it had been so long yet not all that shocked at all. "you must have been the demon everyone was complaining about who bummed around here" she giggled and finished her food. she grabbed both their dishes and took them to the washer.
 
Jack chuckled and nodded," you can say that, but if they did they didn't say it around me. I was the most feared demon in all of hell until I left. Now can you guess who is holding that spots of this second and is probably in his quarters right now thinking about you and me while he is having some fun with a succubis." he laughed at that thought
 
she blushed, "that is such a perverted thought" she shook her head as she washed the dishes, "he may be the most feared now but he should fear you and leave us alone..theres no telling if he will get the guts to come back or not" she sighed and finished washing the dishes and put them to dry turning back to jack leaning against the counter.
 
Jack smiled and walked over to seraphine and held her close and said," he should fear us and don't worry if he does come then he will leave without another arm." he held her tight and kissed her lovingly." you know now that we eaten what are we going to do now we got time for just about anything and I can't think but a few things we could do."
 
she hugged him and kissed him, "im not quite sure..why dont you choose my love? i feel a little exhausted today" she smiled lightly and knew that if danger were to come to their home they could do it. she knew full well something could happen like last time but was choosing to stay positive about it. after all she was married and had her own home, if it wasnt for their wings and the fact they were in purgatory she could look at this like a normal human life.
 
Jack nodded and scooped her up and carried her outside where he made a little bench appearance facing way from their tree in the shade. He sat her down on the bench and sat down very close to her and held her by the waist," how about we just sit here and talk is that alright with you?" he kissed her softly on the lips.


Azazel watch from a distance in the trees he eyed seraphine figure hungrily and he thought to himself," that body of hers will be mine if its the last thing I do." he then looked at jack then to his new right arm made completely of metal. He crept closer along the trees keeping his aura down so jack couldn't sense him and he created a double to help him when he made his move
 
seraphine nodded, "i think that would be nice..i thought i was just very tired but i havent gotten the drowsiness to go away quite yet..might just be one of those days" she smiled and kisses him back sweetly. "this bench is nice..i like being close to the tree..i remember it very well in the village" she thought back on the times she would sit under it or climb it when she was young..and how it had been a hiding spot when she was older from all the other kids.
