1e vs 2e? Wait, nevermind...

Yeah, I'm new getting into exalted and all, and my friend bought me the Core Exalted 2e book (though I told him not to, I was already wondering about this at the time...)

But what how would your opinions on 2e vs 1e?  So far, from what I hear and have read from my 2e materials, 1e seems like it's a much more concentric system and I like how they structure it better (natures, merits and flaws).  2e seems like they took away some of the better parts, while expanding the remaining stuff they left behind to be needlessly complicated.  But I might not know what I'm talking about, I'm new.

On the other hand, it's a lot easier to get a hold of 2nd edition resources than it is 1st.

Search function can be handy, but hey. No biggie. Want opinions on 1E vs. 2E? Look over here. Enjoy!

Edit: Oh, almost forgot. First time I've seen you, so welcome to the site. Hope you enjoy your stay. :)

Search function... I tend to forget those exist, sorry.  >.>

Dang, and the thread's going on at around the same time too...  and here I almost looked over there before looking around in Newbie help too.

I'll try and like, delete this or something?

Oh well, thanks!

EDIT: Well, I guess these forums don't let thread starters do that... So I'll sit here and think of something I can change my thread topic too that's something else I've been wondering about...

You know, if you didn't summon up the God of TV just so you could watch it...and then stab it every time the shows sucked...it might bleed a little less.

But he is welcome here at the ECR.  What does that say about us?

Well, considering most of us are batshit insane in one way or another...or a few dozen in some cases... nothing at all. :)

Ok, let's try to explain this in a such a way that the Americans who may have missed the point understand:

The writer's strike has made most of TV where it is crap, unworthy of watching.

Therefore, a lot of the shows suck all the time, especially with the new shows that keep coming on that stay on for a while being dumb as hell, while the good ones are taken off of the air in a few weeks or months.
