Sorry, busy trying to write a horror story, you get first peek! ya proud? It's what I have so far, for a contest.


Charles woke up, yawning. His bed was the softest thing in the world, making him oversleep. He didn't even hear his Alarm ring! Charles had no intention to turn on his TV to look at a weather report, he studied multiple science topics in School, including precipitation and weather. Summer break had just started, he thought about how hot it was going to be, and considered going to the beach; however, when he looked outside, all he saw was a cloudy grey sky. "This better be a one time shower.." Charles muttered under his breath, sure, his reaction wasn't so great, but there were worse things to be foreseen in the future. Charles got up, out of bed. All he was concerned about were the tasks he had to finish in one day, including some of his homework, and actual work at a gas station. Though he had this day off, he decided to go out and open his computer, for some browsing in the internet. When Charles opened his screen, what he saw was not his usual desktop, but instead; a skull, fly, and blood. "Damn, a virus." He thought his antivirus could handle it by itself, though the picture may have just been a prank from one of his friends; he didn't live alone. Slowly walking along the hallways of the apartment, it seemed emptier than usual, something scurried across the floor behind him. Charles quickly glanced behind him, seeing nothing unusual. He ignored his instincts to investigate more, and kept going to the nerdiest, techiest friend he had; opening his friend's door, he found out that his beloved roommate had disappeared. So he ran downstairs to look for the friend.
