Biography: William "Will" Holt was born on a cool spring morning in the mountains of western North Carolina, the son of John Holt, a full Cherokee, and Mary Holt, the daughter of an old farming family from the east. The family lived on the Cherokee reservation in the Appalachian Mountains, where they mostly kept to themselves, isolated from the rest of the States. They didn't exactly gave a great relationship with the government, but they weren't aching to start anything either. And Will was happy with this. Money was tight, especially during the Depression, but they were all tight knit, they looked after one another. And most importantly, the neighbors minded their own business.

Until the AUS came along.

With North Carolina being rolled into the American Union, the future of the reservation was up in the air. Technically, they were a sovereign entity, but even then that was in name only. Just like the First Civil War, the Cherokee were pushed into a bad situation. With little choice, it was decided they would support the AUS, officially joining in the hope of at least staving off any attacks, especially by the more...extreme elements of the Union. As such, Will and many other young men were drafted and rolled into the 1st Appalachian Minutemen Brigade, little more than a militia force at the start. Due to the region on which it was formed and the lack of supplies, they were used primarily as a scout and skirmisher force, harassing enemy forces and blazing a trail through difficult terrain. Despite the lack of supplies and softened bigoted leadership, the Appalachian Minutemen have proven themselves highly effective, with Will being one of their most promising soldiers.

Name: Augusto "August" Greco

Appearance:

Age and Date of Birth: 25. August 22, 1912

Gender: Male

Allegiance: Combined Syndicates of America

Unit and Service Branch: 2nd Guards Rifle Division, PRC Red Guards.

Rank and Title: Lieutenant

Kit and Equipment:
- Dark Green Red Guard officer's Uniform and cap, emblazoned with the Red Star.
-M1921 model "Tommy Gun" with drum magazine and foregrip
-M1917 revolver
-Binoculars

Biography: August was born the 7th child of a poor Sicilian family in New York, and was named only for the month he was born in, as thinking of a more in depth name would have meant spending more time dwelling on him than his parents would care to do. Becoming a man at the height of the beginning of the great depression was just one more tick in the constant bad luck that had haunted him through his life, and with few other prospects he fell in with the criminal element as the age of 17, doing grunt work for different small time gangs for several years to make ends meet and doing everything from smuggling to at least one murder in 1932. Desperate to escape that life, August skipped town and joined the US Army for a time. He stuck with it for four years, doing well and even making the rank of Sergeant during his service, but never felt like anything he was doing really mattered.

Greco left the Army in early 1936, just as the election was ramping up, and found his way home to New York. It was there that he fell in with a new organization for veterans that had thrown its support behind Haywood and the growing Syndicate movement. Their message about bringing prosperity to the poor parts of the city where he'd grown up struck a cord and he soon became on of their most vocal supporters. He found himself immersed in the political violence leading up to the coup, little different from the gang violence he'd once ran away from, only now he had a purpose.

When the battle lines were drawn, Greco sided with some of the more extreme elements of the Syndicate political sphere, and through his military record and sheer zeal he was brought on as an officer for the new People's Revolutionary Committee.

Biography:
The Behrendt is a noble family originally from Thuringia with an unbroken family line since 1621, with the name of Behrendt baronated by Holy Roman Emperor Leopold I in 1699 for their service in the Great Turkish War when their ancestor Franz Behrendt (1672-1734) served under the command of Prince Eugene of Savoy. Despite their noble status, the Behrendt had lived a simple life in the suburban area, before the Great War that changes everything.

Karl was born in Berlin but raised in Buchholz, a small village in Thüringen near Nordhausen. The broad, dense forest of the Thüringen area earned it the nickname "the green heart of Germany" (das grüne Herz Deutschlands). As a child, Karl felt very much at home in the rural and forest, and he learned how to ride horses and hunt for food, through helping his father in providing for their family, he became accustomed to the hard work and dedication. This made Karl very comfortable in the hunt.

Karl's father, Ernst von Behrendt, had answered the fatherland's call when the Great War broke out, first as an infantryman in the 8th Infantry Regiment of the Saxony 24th Division, where he participated in chasing the Allied to their Great Retreat which culminated in the First Battle of the Marne, and then in the Race to the Sea. First as an infantryman, then as a Gefreiter (lance corporal), after his first wound and recovery, he decided to enlist as an officer aspirant (Fahnenjunker), and he was promoted to Leutnant as a pilot – first in an Fokker M.7 unarmed recon two seater, before he got to fly an Albatros D.III fighter in Jagdstaffel 1, under the command of Red Baron before command taken by Hermann Göring following the death of the flying legend. Old Ernst shot down 4 enemy aircrafts, but before he could secure his 5th kill that would qualify him as an Ace, he was wounded by his would-be victory, which put him out of fighting – by the time he recovered, the war was over.

As a young man, Karl was aspired to become a hero just like his father once was, he was a passionate reader of adventure novels, and an advocate for the Wandervogel movement in Germany. He enlisted in the Imperial German Army when he was 17, but he was only accepted after twice being rejected as unfit for military service for being underweight. After he passed through the Kriegsschule during officer training, he graduated as a Leutnant and subsequently promoted to Oberleutnant after a few years of service.

With the influx of information, the Empire believes the Second American Civil War would soon broke out, and Karl was sent to the American soil as a foreign volunteer to collect intelligence. In a larger picture, he was part of a bigger plan from the German General Staff Abteilung III b as one of their eyes and ears over in America to observe their military in action, but personally, Karl is also eager to seize this opportunity to prove himself in combat.

Rank and Title: Captain.

Kit and Equipment:
- Dark green modified Russian Officer's uniform, with dark grey Rogatywka cap with a silver Polish eagle crest. Out of date ; Wrong rank symbols. Worn without permission.

- One dark grey great coat with fur lining and collar.
- One Thompson M1928 Submachine Gun.
- One Nagant M1895 Revolver.
- One Szabla ; Worn on ceremonial occasions.

Biography: Grzegorz-Izajasz Świętopulkow Cyrylowicz, also known by the English translation of his name ; Gregory-Isaiah Svatopulkov Cyrilovich, was born in Warsaw, in the constitute Kingdom of Poland within the Russian Empire. His father, Świętopulk Oktawiuszow, was a noted local communist and eventually found himself exiled east after charges were levelled against him by the Okhrana. Thus, Gregory grew up mostly in the care of his mother, Bratysława.

His father's absence caused the young Gregory to inquire about and learn about his father, who he began to idolise. This, in turn led to him taking up socialist political beliefs as he entered his twenties. However, him and a group of fellow young Poles of a similar ideology were caught planning to seize arms from a local barracks in order to try and assassinate the local Russian commander ; a plan that likely would've succeeded had it not been discovered, and he fled into exile. He lived quietly in Chicago, only making himself known to local syndicalist groups, where his bitterly worded speeches and somewhat fatalistic rhetoric acquired him a controversial but intrigued following. He displayed a notably sharp and creative mind that brought him to the attention of the armed wing of the local syndicates, which he supplied with European weapons per an agreement, and eventually joined, rallying local Polish-Americans to their cause as the political violence and tension of the US grew ever more bloody.

Gregory is a fast witted, quiet man with an aloof nature, whose mind moves swiftly. He is often black and white, blunt and upfront, even to his superiors. This honesty and lack of regard for 'holding his tongue' makes him both brash and a useful source of genuine criticism for plans. His bilingualism makes him important, but not integral, to the internal workings of the primarily Polish speaking Legiony Polsko-Amerykańskie alongside a small group of other officers proficient in both English and Polish.

Biography
Born to an immigrant family near Las Cruces, New Mexico, Jorge Ernesto Molina grew up on a ranch several miles from the urban sprawl. He was one of seven siblings; five boys and two girls. Jorge often went by "Ernie" by his close friends and family. Jorge’s father was a cattle rancher by trade, as their family had been for several generations. The Molinas had the dirt and desert heat in their blood. Their austere lifestyle made a tough breed, dogged and persevering. One might even say stubborn. Like many wide-eyed immigrants, the Molinas moved from Mexico in search of a better life. Jorge’s grandfather built his fortune from the ground up; a true American Dream. Naturally, Jorge developed a fondness for horses. Tending to them in his early life, Jorge found his calling as a true-born equestrian. He would often sneak the horses out of the stables for a midnight ride. The good times were let roll in Jorge's youth, but, as many wise men have said: “the good times don’t last forever.”

In 1917, Jorge’s father was determined eligible for the Selective Service Act, and conscripted into the US Army. Within a month, his father went off to fight a war in France. The day he left, Jorge's father promised a teary-eyed Jorge that he'd come back in one piece. And, within another month or two, he did. Jorge’s father was packed neatly into a pine box, missing half his limbs, and with a medal from the US government. The Molinas buried him outside the ranch next to his father, and father before him. After his father’s passing, Jorge’s family struggled to make ends meet. By 1929, the first wave of the Depression found its way into the rural communities. The Molina Ranch barely held on, living day by day. Their efforts seemed nearly fruitless as the debt seemed to grow ceaselessly. The bank threatened to foreclose if the Molinas couldn’t pay, and Jorge’s mother began to legitimately consider selling. Jorge, in contrast, was horrified by this. He couldn't bear the thought of losing his family's legacy, his home. He promised his mother he’d find the money. He spent months taking odd jobs, trying to scrape together enough. He spent days in the factories in the city, working the land on farms, even busing tables at local diners. But, as each drew closer to the deadline, Jorge began to realize he’d barely made a dent in their debt. He decided to take more drastic measures.

Lying about his age in 1932, Jorge decided to enlist in the US Army at only 17 years old. He planned on sending most of his wages back home. Upon enlistment, Jorge’s apparent affinity with horses caught the eye of his superiors, and he was transferred to the 111th Cavalry Regiment where his skills could be fully utilized. This came with a slight increase in pay, and better conditions. While there was no war to be fought at the time, Jorge’s days were filled with exhausting drills and training, as well as border patrol tasks. In the next couple of years, Jorge and his family were finally starting to make real progress with their debt. In fact, it was likely that Jorge could go home around the end of his enlistment. But the next year brought disaster as the political tension in the east came to a violent head.

In the months before MacArthur’s coup, he began to discreetly transfer several units from out west into his command back east. Jorge’s unit found themselves on a train bound for Virginia. Unbeknownst to them, Jorge and the 111th would soon become embroiled in a bloody conflict not seen since the days of the Great War. A war that many believed could never happen again, a second civil war.
