Hey guys, my name is ApophisX, but I prefer people to just call me Alex. I've been roleplaying for almost 8 years, but I'm new to RPNation, but so far I'm really enjoying my time here.
Things you should know:
- I'm looking for a long term roleplaying partner. Someone who's dedicated and won't just vanish without a trace.
- I'm pretty laid back when it comes to response times, because I understand that everyone has other commitments. Replies once a week is fine, but if you're going to be away for awhile, just let me know.
- I consider myself to be fairly dedicated. When I'm not busy, I can put out several replies a day. If I get busy, expect a reply every other day or at least several times a week. If something gets in the way, I will let you know.
- My roleplays tend to have a lot of mature themes, so I prefer a partner who's 18 years of age or older.
- I try to match my partner's posts, but can usually put out between 1-6 paragraphs, depending on what I'm given to work with.

"What if the world we lived in was nothing more than an illusion? What if vampires, werewolves, wizards, witches, demons, ghosts, and dragons actually existed? But we just couldn't see them?"
SANCTUS is a top secret government agency that operates from the shadows. It is the oldest form of government around with agents working in every corner of the world. Their mission is to keep the peace between the material world and the Expanse, which is a realm that inhabits these mythical creatures. My character is a high ranked agent for SANCTUS that crosses paths with your character, who for some reason is the only one that can see through the illusion. He takes her into custody as he feels she could jeopardize the entire system, but he's later convinced by the top brass to assign her to his special task force as they feel she could be a useful asset in keeping the peace.

Our characters are a married couple living in a small town in the suburbs on the east coast of the United States with a family of their own. My character was an army vet who served overseas for 4 years and has recently returned home to be with his family, but he realizes that he just isn't the same, as the events of the war has taken a toll on him emotionally and psychologically. Your character is a hardworking wife and mother who took up two jobs while at the same time raising the kids while her husband was serving overseas. Although she's loving and supportive, she's frustrated with her husband's attitude and behavior, which challenges their marriage, and with their children caught in the middle, it's just not an ideal situation to be in. A story of family, love, support, and the challenges of life.
S.I.D.
(Realistic/Modern/Thriller)
Our characters are members of the S.I.D. (Strategic Intelligence Division), which is a law enforcement branch that works nationally in the United States to stop terrorism. Several political figures have been assassinated, numerous suicide bombings on American soil have taken countless innocent lives, and now an attempt has been made on the president's life, forcing our characters into action.
The Force

Our characters are police officers in an American town. From the outside they look dedicated, hardworking, competent in their field, but what people don't know is that they are as corrupt as they come, working closely with the mafia to keep the streets clean. However, what happens when the FBI becomes involved and begins investigated their department? What happens when a deal with an organized crime family goes terribly wrong, putting the families of our characters in danger? How will they come back from this?
