Live - One day, on Muse A’s way home, they come across Muse B lying in the middle of the road. They appear hurt, but are unresponsive when Muse A tries to rouse them. Not having a phone on them to call an ambulance, Muse A carries Muse B the short distance back to their home and tries to revive them.
Comfort Zone - Muse A has always been the scholarly sort, super focused on their academics. They’ve blazed through primary grades with perfect marks and because of their stellar GPA through secondary grades, Muse A has been granted the opportunity to study at a prestigious university abroad for their first year. Muse A is excited for the honor but also really nervous because they’ve never set foot outside of their hometown; actually, they barely ever spend time outside of their own home. It’s their comfort zone and they’ve never felt that necessary motivation to leave it. And now they’re expected to spend two semesters on the other side of the world, surrounded by unfamiliar people and places! Muse B is also studying abroad through the same program and they have a similar, introverted personality to Muse A’s. While bonding in their shared dorm between classes, Muse A and Muse B discover the blog of an introverted person who documented their resolution to do something out of their comfort zone every night for one year. Muse A and Muse B decide to do the same thing and make this year abroad a truly memorable experience.
Do you have a dollar? - a) When muse a, a new student, reaches the front of the lunch line, they realize they don’t have enough cash to buy their food. Before this can become apparent to anyone else in the cafeteria, muse b, an upperclassman, quickly offers to pay for both of their lunches.
Swirl -
Muse A and Muse B are head over heels in love with each other. They’re planning on getting married, but Muse A insists that they get the blessing of Muse B’s father in the traditional way before any plans are final. Neither Muse A or Muse B has met each other’s family yet, so, naturally they’re nervous about how the introductions might go. Underneath those jitters, however, they’re hopeful that their parents will see the person they love for just how wonderful they are. Muse A and Muse B receive a chilly reception at Muse B’s home when Muse A asks for Muse B’s hand. It’s not that Muse A doesn’t seem like a good person, according to Muse B’s parents, but that the color of their skin isn’t quite right for someone who wants to marry their child. Muse A and Muse B are shocked to learn that Muse B’s parents don’t approve of interracial relationships and are dead-set against the pair getting married, especially in this day and age. Muse B wants to marry Muse A anyway, no matter what, but it’ll break Muse B’s heart if their family doesn’t give their blessing and show up at their nuptials.
