I'm pretty new here, in fact this is my first time on here scrounging for a roleplay.

I'm a sci-fi nerd
I'm literate, but when it comes to roleplaying I can be a tad lazy

Before we jump right into roleplaying I have some rules as well! They might cut my future possible applicants by 75%, but oh well.
Rules
I will only roleplaywith people 18 or older. This is not because 'bla bla weird sexual stuff thats against the rules anyway', it's merely about comfort. I have a hard time getting along with teenagers and I'd fear the extreme cultural age gap would be more effort than I'm willing to put fourth
I'm new and I don't really know how to do threads or really what's expected. Either we can do PMs or Threads if you're willing to make one
No IRL pictures. Use drawn ones or descriptions. I draw all my OCs myself
No Mary-bla bla you already know this rule.
You can tell me when you're bored of the RP, I wont be mad!
I average at about 1 - 2 really good paragraphs. Sometimes I can do more -- but never less than 1. No one-liners
Do not apply if you're not into plot-planning or want to discuss details and characters
If you can't handle profanity/some gore and surprises, I'm not the rper for you

Two jewel thieves are after they same vault on the same night, but after avoiding the obstacles to get to the safe and each other -- they realize they need to work together or they'll both be caught. This would be sort of a modern or post modern bonnie clyde.

I don't really have a plot but if we do mxf I'd like to play the male villain! I have a half-made character already who's a complete disaster/nerd

[inspired by a game called Dream Fall: Chapters, however you do -not- have to play the game to roleplay this. Only a few elements were taken, just making sure credit is given where it's due.]
Setting: Near furture - Suberban/Urban/City
Brief Description: Life revolves around convenience; where computers and gadgets have dominated the commonality and there has been little room left for creation. People live hard lives, economically speaking and after long hours they want to just relax and allow the woes of the day sink. 'pOd', a new device released by everyone's new and favorite innovative craftsmen 'Ali-co', brings surrealism and excitement in the wake of dreams. The device, which resembles a small peapod, is strapped to the user's head at night and evokes a lucid dreaming state which not only is hyper-realistic but allows the user to interact with their setting. Most importantly though, It’s memorable. pOd has distributed over 10 million products world-wide and by the day the demand rises, domineering every aspect of entertainment, social media and advertisement.
Is pOd safe? On paper, yes. There no medical or statistical evidence that links pOd to any ailments, despite speculation. Over the past five years pOd has gained some notoriety for being a dismissed killed, though these accusations are tongue in cheek and only rumored amongst conspiracy theorists. What people don’t know is that pOd is a dangerous device known to some to induce comas and in some cases, death. These ailments are never linked to the device themselves, however are often in use when the user falls into a critical state.

I’m looking for this role-play to involve two women who can, without pOds, invade and manipulate people’s dreams. I’m looking for someone who can help me expand the plot, offer ideas of their own and make this roleplay a long term effort. This can be a platonic roleplay or a romantic one, whichever you’d feel more comfortable with! We can also start platonic and see where it leads.
