It cost me $15 for the Lunar book and all of the Aspect books, on top of the DTRPG cost...covers are simple pasteboard, no glossy art, but they did manage to put the aspect marks and some Lunar tattoos on the covers.
I realize this is going to sound strange...but I took in several of my DTRPG PDFs to campus print shop and had them make me some nice books. It's legal, fairly cheap (when you know a guy, espescially) and my books don't look like anyone elses when we game. Might be worth a try, and is better...
I've just gotten back into Exalted after about 2 years of running Mage, and Sol Invictus is one of the major reasons that I came back. I really like the logic of the Charms, I love the high Essence Charms, and my players like the opportunity to have so much to choose from. AND, I much prefer...
I wanted a button that said "Is in no way related to the nature of the Caste it belongs to." Seriously, look at all the other Caste powers.

My question, and I'm just soliciting opinion here, is what could...
So...I like to fiddle, I admit it. There's a lot of things about most games I run that I find irritating, so I end up changing them. I've just started running Exalted again, using the EdExalted program and the Sol Invictus rules (redid all the charms manually for the program), and now, sitting...
My personal perspective would be that Sorcery is a part of humanity's unique talents for manipulating essence. Gods can do a lot of things, but they're hampered by their natures and by the limitations placed on them by the primordials. Humans, and by that I mean Exalts and god-blooded, have...

I always found it interesting too, that there were all these First Age armies/weapons and an aparently monolithic central government...my personal interperetation is that while there was a Deliberative and central government, that govt. dealt mostly with things of large-scale...
OK, now I never have penalized a player for not having their weapon drawn at the start of combat-I just treated it like a free action. However, having gone and made a deathknight NPC with Ebon Lightning Prana, the language in the Charm seems to imply that there is some sort of mechanical penalty...
