I've been a WoW player forever. (Always on RP servers, of course!) I think at this point I have tested out nearly every MMO out there. =P I have to have an RP base in an MMO which can sometimes be a bit difficult depending on the game. There are definitely some that excell over others!

As an actor, I've always felt inclined to delve into a character that is most certainly not me while applying aspects of self TO it. I started role-playing ages ago, perhaps 15 years, in forums much smaller than we have now. (My first was a Vampire the Masquerade type setting I believe)

It usually depends on the other person/people I am RPing with. I tend to play off of their style, as I have no one set way of writing. I prefer thoughts to be incorporated when they can. I think it helps a reader to better grasp who a character is.
