All right! I'm still going to keep this open. No offense to you or anyone intended. I just like to hedge my bets. Besides, the more people that I get this going with the more varieties of the setting I get to try out!
I'm looking for someone who can handle a multi-genre world with friendship, romance, war, death, and lots of room for world building. Strong inspiration for this has been drawn from SAO along with various other sources. I'm also planning on between two and four characters per player. For now...
This is less an idea for a specific roleplay and more a concept for a background foundation that could be used with multiple dissimilar settings.
The core concept is that it should be possible to have a unifying reality that allows characters to be easily ported between roleplays without their...
This is less an idea for a specific roleplay and more a concept for a background foundation that could be used with multiple dissimilar settings. I know this probably isn't what most people are looking for when they look in this particular interest checks area but I wanted opinions from a...
His Highness Danil Draven Crown Prince of the Dark Kingdom
Prince Danil could do little beyond waiting. Still, it seemed to be the correct course. While Princess Teno did not accept the flower with her own hand, it was accepted by her word. Her friends did seem to be a source of strength...
And, given Danil's limited knowledge of the dwarves, it's unlikely that he will trust such an uncharacteristic sign. Still, he will be happy enough if his sword gets to remain sheathed.
Interesting. But, I feel that Danil is unlikely to trust a dwarf. The dwarves have their own government and maintain a separate culture. The treaty is between the Royal houses. Associated factions can always turn into loose cannons. The Dark Realm sees a lot of that kind of instability.
His Highness Danil Draven Crown Prince of the Dark Kingdom
Danil had received word of the near disaster that his messenger had caused by approaching openly during the day instead of at night, as instructed. It certainly didn't bolster his confidence much to be reminded of that right before...
His Highness Danil Draven Crown Prince of the Dark Kingdom
"I understand." Danil said at length, withdrawing the pouch. He wasn't an optimistic sort but if Prince Kurth thought that he had good odds of making this prospective relationship work then he had no good cause to approach the...
Things are super crazy right now with vehicle repairs and work and hunting for a better job while getting ready for winter... and winter is coming, so I'm sorry for the slow pace of my replies. I'm hoping to have the time to post again sometime in the next few days but I can't guarantee...
There's also the possibility of the color or other qualities of the orb being changed over the intervening years of war and the past few months of peace.
So, to clarify, what is the current appearance of the Gilded Orb? Since everyone will be able to see it, we might want its current look to be decided on. I recall something in one of the region or lore descriptions mentioning that it was said to have turned black. Am I just imagining things?
Interestingly enough as a side note, few people consider diuretics, emetics, and laxatives to be real poisons. However, their effects on diplomatic events can be rather mortifying.
As for the meeting between Danil and Teno... it would be nice to get that done, though the poison could make the...
His Highness Danil Draven Crown Prince of the Dark Kingdom
Danil acknowledged Prince Kurth's greeting with a nod but refrained from speaking until he was finished. It gave him time to think. The open show of emotion was not something he expected from a man with the Fire Prince's...
Sorry about the delay in my reply. Things at work have been... stressful. Family has been sick. Appointments have been numerous and sleep has been fleeting.
I'm hoping to finish up my next post by Sunday evening. I think the suspense for Princess Teno has been extended... long enough. It's...
His Highness Danil Draven Crown Prince of the Dark Kingdom
Danil listened to the admirable tailor as the facade fell away. The timing of his request and the rarity of the item had obvious effects on the time required to assess and complete the order. Still, Danil was no tailor and listened...
