I don't mind starting as a first year. I kinda like imagining them summoning their first Pokemon. However, I also don't mind them starting later on, allows me more flexibility. I have a question though, can our Pokemon follow us, or does that drain our energy?

Possibly a powerful OC adult. Not a child. Make it believable too. I don't like playing cannon characters because I fear that I will make them go OOC.
