Alison followed after him and nodded. "And I can't afford to skip school right now. It'll ruin my attendance record. I can't even imagine what my parents will do if they found out."
Alison blushed slightly at what she was preparing to do. She was never one to pull a prank, but decided that not having a bit of fun with her newfound powers would be boring. She suddenly fake sneezed, covering her face. It was enough movement to cause Fletcher's jeans to suddenly fly down...
Alison nodded and looked around the hallways full of bustling students. She hesitated for a moment before reaching out and, as hard as she could concentrate, caused a locker to suddenly slam open.
"Huh?" She looked at the apple and flinched suddenly, believing the red fruit would hit her. Instead the apple flew in mid air in front of her, almost like it was levitate by something. Alison's eyes widened and she hesitated for a moment before grabbing the apple.
Alison raised an eyebrow as she looked at Danny. "Isn't that a little fancy?" She tapped her chin as if in thought before shrugging. "Sure, I'll go, and no I haven't discovered any new powers." She sighed. "Nothing special here."
Though Alison assumed everything from last night was just a vivid dream, her theory was broken as she saw her classmates gossip about the intense storm that happened yesterday. She could hear then talk about how lightning kept crashing around, but no reports of anyone killed or injured from it...
(Sorry. I was really busy.)
"We should get going. I don't want my parents to start fussing at the police that I haven't contacted them in a while." Alison smiled and began to gather her things, though most of it was charred from the lightning. "Anyone need a ride?"
"You two be careful. Try not to go overboard with your new powers." Alison smiled and skipped towards the two men to give them a hug. "I'm sure everything will work out great."
"It would be pretty far-fetched to say we got electrocuted. It happened to me, and I can hardly believe it." She sighed then looked at Fletcher with a shrug. "Maybe I was just the unlucky one that didn't benefit from almost dying...?"
"I...I can't believe how you've taken it so easily. We were just electrocuted." Alison muttered as she looked down at her hands as if they would suddenly transform. She still didn't have any strange powers, and wondered if she was spared from it
Alison quickly shook her head. She didn't understand it either. "We...we need to get somewhere safe." She muttered, not sure how to react. "We need to regroup. Find out what the heck is going on."
"What the fudge is going on?" Alison looked around at each if her friends, noting how strange they seemed to become. Freaking Fletcher was talking to a squirrel, Leo had turned into a...reddish form, and Villian seemed entranced by a car. "We need to call somebody." She was starting to freak out...
Alison's eyes widened as she stared her friend's...appearance. It looked like something straight out of a movie and she couldn't really believe what she was seeing. "What happened?" She muttered, though the question seemed to be directed to her and what went on when the lightning crashed. ...
Alion frowned, concerned as she saw Leo back away. The others, though a bit injured, didn't seem as bad as how Leo was behaving. "Leo? What's wrong?" She asked as she walked towards her friend.
Alison reached for her phone and sighed when she saw it had become a charred mess from the lightning. "Can anybody call an ambulance?" She didn't feel well. Her head felt like a thousand flies were buzzing around and her hands felt like she was touching a million little needles.
Alison sat up, wincing slightly as she felt white hit pain shoot up her back. "Everyone ok?" She asked as she forced herself to her feet and stumbled slightly.
She could feel a small tingle in her fingers but thought nothing of it.
Alison collapsed on the ground, curled into a ball of shivering fear. Her body felt like it had just ran a marathon and could feel her sore muscles aching all over. "Guys?..." She muttered as she looked around, frowning when her vision was blurred.
