SPECIFIC RULES

POKEMON MOVES

Your Pokemon can have up to 4 moves. We will use the ORAS movesets. You may only use leveling moves, but TMs and HMs are not to be used. Honestly, how can a disk teach a Pokemon a move?

CAPTURING POKEMON

In a capture post, your post needs to end with the Pokemon in a pokeball. I will determine whether or not you actually captured the Pokemon. If you don't catch it, you can attack it a few times and try again, or go find something else to do. You can also capture as many Pokemon as you want, but you may only carry 6 at a time. If you want to switch, you must visit a Pokemon Center.

*You can trade with your fellow Roleplayers. You can also take your Phantump and trade for a Trevenant = EVOLUTION.

There are no levels, or anything of the sort. There is no happiness, or beauty. However, there is stone evolution and Trade Evolution. You will decide when you think your pokemon should evolve. If you wish to have your Pokemon evolve or learn a new move, notify me so I may determine if it is time and make a post.

GYMS

All gyms will be normal battles, and the pokemon the gym leader uses will be canon from the games. You can lose the battle and still earn a badge. End your gym posts with the battle ending.

BAD GUYS

Now this is the fun part! I will not throw a direct plot related to them, but it is assumed that bad guys have the same goals as in the games. It is up to all the players if they wish to incorporate them in their own plots. It isn't a bad idea to ask in the OOC if anybody wants to join you.

EXTRAS

Mega Pokemon: We'll see

Wild Pokemon: I will have the randomly attack you! You may fight or run. (cowards)

Random Trainers: I will have them randomly challenge you. You may decline or accept

IMPORTANT (MUST READ)

Hello everyone, here are somethings that I need to bring up and clarify:

1) Groups: I know some of you are happy being solo, but it is hard trying to keep track of everyone's individual stories and actions, and it has happened where I forgot to react to someone or there was nothing in their post for me to work off of. Being in the groups is what keeps the roleplay from ending up dying and becoming boring, and it relieves some of the stress on me when it comes to progressing the story.

2) Trainer and Wild Pokemon Battles: When a Pokemon attacks you or a trainer challenges you, you are only responsible for you and you Pokémon's actions. I will control the other trainers and the wild Pokemon. This will also be included in gym battles

3) Too Fast: I know some of you may be eager to get somewhere quickly, but rushing you journey is no fun. You actually have to travel to get somewhere and in between your travels things will happen to you. These things keep the roleplay interesting and helps with character development.

4) Pokemon Centers: These are self explanatory, if you wish to interact with Nurse Joy, just mention her.

5) The Mart: So in each bag given to you by Rowan, you received......let's say 3000¥. All Pokemart items are the same prices as they are in the games and at the end of trainer battle I will have a reward amount if you won. You are responsible for keeping track of you money. If needed make a spot in you CS for the money and just add or subtract from what you have.

6) Weather & Time of Day: When I make Melanie's posts I will have those posted. So just base that off what the weather conditions and what time of day or is from her.

Melanie grabbed her bag and waited at the front door for her father. "I love you Melly, have fun, and be safe." He said as he kissed Melanie in the forehead. Melanie quickly wiped it off and gave her father a big hug. "Love you dad." She said before turning and running out the front door. She hadn't slept the night before having been excited for today, on top of the anticipation made it hard for her to fall asleep. "My first Pokemon." She said aloud to herself. Melanie was one of the most delinquent and knowledgeable of students at the Pokemon academy her father had allowed her to go to when she was seven. She had dreamt of today and she wasn't going to let anything ruin it. She walked down the path that lead to Prof. Rowan's lab. She pictured herself meeting him in person for the first time. She knew what he looked like, but she had never met him in person, the thought frightened her. Her hands started to sweat and she got butterflies in her stomach. Her confident jog turned into a nervous shuffle.

She knew that there were other kids getting their Pokemon today, but she didn't have time to worry about them. As she walked she thought if the traditional three starters for Sinnoh. "Chimchar might be nice." She thought. "Or maybe Piplup. Their so cute." She added. "Turtwig.....nah." She said noticing other persons on the path in front of her. Could that be the other trainers?

Crimson walked down the path leading to the Professor Rowan's lab thinking about what His Father said "you going to go to TwinLeaf Town and live your Uncle." Crimson stayed with his uncle for 3 years, he slowly began to get used to the environment, Not a Rocky caves or have a Large Mountain like in Pewter but it was a good change. His Little Cousins bugged him on Pokemon and what are the Best kinds but Crimson answer was "Dragons, all day every day." He got his Love of dragon Pokemon from his mom but he never really played with them as His Mother's were Very powerfully and Dangerous.

Crimson saw the Professor's lab now in sight, so he ran a little to get their Lab so he wouldn't be Late. he though about the Pokemon that they could give him 'i hope they have dragon Pokemon, that would be Awesome!' As he arrived at the Lab, he saw a Girl there. 'she's cute!' a small blush came to His Face but he killed it very fast as he didn't want to be seen as a Pervert. he said to Her "Hello, you a new Trainer too? By the Way My name is Crimson, what is yours?"

Melanie made it to the lab a little after another boy did. She had wanted to be the first one there, but she was okay with it. The boy introducer himself immediately, his face was a rosy red and he awkwardly rambled to her. "Uh hi. Nice to meet you. The names Melanie. Melanie Plume. And yes I'm here to get my Pokemon." She answers. Suddenly Prof. Rowan came over to the two children. His face was serious and he looked distraught. "I have some bad news....." He trailed off as he gestured for the children to follow him. Melanie had no idea what to expect, but she had grown up in Twinleaf for most of her life and she had never seen Prof. Rowan so upset.

Crimson hate that he was being weird but he could help it this girl in front of him was very pretty, when she introduced herself he said "Nice to Meet you." Crimson saw the professor Rowan come out and said for them to go with them. He followed behind Melaine and Professor Rowan to see what was the problem.

His mom dropped him off on her fastest Rhyhorn and left not saying bye, I love you or even crying. Djinn didn't feel anything or anyway about that because if she said bye she wouldn't have let him go. With a little more walking he would be inside and just maybe he would find a Pokemon that liked him. Preferably one that didn't mind being ignored a little because he's kind of guilty of that.

Djinn finally made it and he decided to do something a little new for him which was start a conversation. He chose the ones that stood out the most, the ones that looked like they wouldn't mind him talking to them. Ahah, at last he spotted a big one and a girl maybe, the girl didn't stick out that much but the big one sure did. Djinn started to walk and then he hesitated he hasn't started much conversations and they seem to already be talking. Oh wait the professor is moving I guess I should follow before talking to anyone.

Prof. Rowan turned around to make sure that the children were following him, when he noticed that another boy had joined them. He entered though a pair of revolving doors and and into his main lab and what they saw was a mess. Pokeballs were all over the place. People scrambled to collect them all. Some of the pokeballs had managed to open releasing Pokemon left and right. Rowan put his hand on his face in disappointment. "What happened Professor." Melanie asked bending down to pick up a pokeball. "Well...." He said. "There was a shipment of pokeballs coming today along with the starters and there was an accident where one of bag ripped and the pokeballs went everywhere ." He explained.

Crimson was surprised, what did that mean for him. would he get his starter Pokemon or would he have to wait for them and not beginning his Journey. he hoped that they still would give him a pokemon, so he had to ask the Professor "Sir what does that mean for us?" he point to himself, Melaine and Djinn. "what happen to the Pokeballs?" he wanted to know because he would try and help if he could.

(Prometheus has received his starter in Hoenn, but after a disaster relating groudon last year he fled to sinnoh and is now in sinnoh on route 204) Prometheus looks down at a rusty spoon, tears begin to form in his eyes. He takes a pencil out of his backpack and adds a line with the number '204' next to it, underneath the 204 he writes: "bidoof, wurmple, budew" he gets up and sees a blue figure standing in the distance, in a split second descision he bolts up and charges at the figure.

He runs toward the blue figure, now close enough to tell that it is a team magma grunt, when he approaches her he slows down. "I've been told by my father never to hurt a woman but I'll make an exception if that woman was part of an organization that killed him!" Without warning, he throws a Pokeball and his evee comes out "I don't care about rules or manners anymore! Evee..." He stops himself. "No... This isn't what alakazam would have wanted, he wanted me to make a change, to make a difference. I won't hurt you but I will bring justice to the leader of your group." He returns evee and kisses the girls hand. "I'm sorry lady!" He runs off, and the girl stands there completely speechless

Prof. Rowan turned around to answer the boys question. "Well of course you all still get your Pokémon. But I suppose you have must more variety now." He explained as he randomly picked up a pokeball and relaxed a Pokemon. A small Tyrunt popped out. He shook his head an ran around the room before stopping in front of Crimson. Melanie excitedly pushed the button on the pokeball that she had picked up earlier. A small Pokemon appeared. It had a small flame on the top of it's head and hit looked up at Melanie. "Oh my gosh!" She said as she picked it up. "You're so cute.....I'm gonna name your Luna she said as she held the Pokemon in her hands.

(This is gonna sound cringy but I need these characters to meet so.... Yeah let's do this)

As Prometheus is mapping out route 204, he senses a strong bond between a Pokemon and its trainer, this was a strange feeling as he had never sensed it before. Being a curious person with little human interaction he decided to follow the sense, so he walked out of route 204 into route 203 and back out of route 203 and made the short journey into twinleaf town, looking for the professors lab. Prometheus finds the lab finally and pokes his head in to see trainers and Pokemon, he is frightened and let's out a shriek before diving behind a bookshelf. Books fly everywhere leaving his head sticking out of a large pile of books, he rubs his head and shakes in fear

Crimson looked at the Tyrunt and said "Dragon..... Awesome!" Crimson picked up Tyrunt and looked at him. he was going to be a powerful Pokemon that is for sure, he said to Tyrunt "i'm going to name you King." the Tyrunt liked the name Greatly and start laughing as his New Trainer complimented him. Crimson saw Melaine and walked over to her and said "You like your Pokemon?"

The boy stood in front of his aunt and uncle giddy as any true trainer would be on his first day of a new adventure. He had finally convinced his parents into letting him leave home to be the great leader he knew he was destined to be. The boys uncle stood there looking down onto the 11 year old witha very stern look upon his face. '' Kingg you know that i have ties with the professor here in Twinleaf. i need you to understand i pulled a lot of strings to get you here. ''

The boy looked at his uncle and nodded.

'' you need to be very careful while youre out there training. I cant name how many people would love to do evil things in this world...'' he was interrupted by his wife that was standing next to him.

'' ..Honey i think he understands. Kingg, sweetie..Go have fun and promise to be safe''

kingg nodded and he kissed his aunt goodbye and ran out the door. the boy stood at about 5'2'', kinda tall for his age. as he continued to race toward the professors office, his dirty blonde hair whipped back and fourth as the breeze blew through it. He wore his lucky cyan bandanna, that Wulfric had given him right before he left home . He had a black shirt on that was almost covered by his icy blue jacket. His pants were jet black and matched his running shoes.

He finally made it, he had arrived to the start of his journey. He knocked on the door of the lab and ever so eagerly waited for a response

Prof. Rowan turned around to see an entire book shelf falling to the ground, a young boy crouched down behind it. There was a knocking at the door and on of the labs assistances went to the door and opened it. "Uh. Welcome, you're little late but come in." She said stepping over the mess of book. She was upset because she knew she would have to clean it up later. "You." She said pointing at the boy who knocked over the shelf. "Let's go." She said sternly. Prof. Rowan explained the current situation to the two newcomers and handed everyone their 3000¥, 5 pokeballs, 2 potions and their one masterball. "You this wisely." He told them. Melanie, still holding her Pokemon introduced herself to the new boys.

Kingg Stood at the doorway and chuckled at the mess that was on the floor. He imagined thousands of possible outcomes for how that couldve happened and everyone was funnier then the last. he snapped back to reality as the professor started talking. he nodded and followed. He now stood next to the rest of the children. He looked at everyone of them and tried to figure them all out without even knowing them.

He Raised his hand and spoke as clear as he possibly could without screaming. '' Professor, if possible may i claim mudkip?'' Mudkip had always been his favorite especially once the mega stone research started taking place.

The oddest part about it was how it looked so dirty and old like no one had touched it for years. He threw it up in the air watching it twirl as it dropped into his hand. He threw it up again and the dust started clearing off revealing a orange Pokeball instead of a red one. Djinn finally hit the button and he looked at the alligator like figure standing across from him. Then the Pokemon started bouncing around to a beat and during this the Pokemon jumped onto his back.

The professor handed him his starting gear and told him to use a Pokeball wisely which clearly meant if you see a ratata don't use this on it. Djinn threw it all in his backpack and approached the girl. "What Pokemon did you get?"

Crimson looked at Professor Rowan and nodded to him as the professor handed him some money, PokéBalls and a Pokédex. He saw that some newcomer came both boys, one of looked a little different from a normal kid but that didn't bother him. What did bother him was how weird the different one was but he didn't care about that right now.

He saw the both of them, Crimson saw another boy who was just as tall as him but not as broad, he didn't to talk to them for now. He walked over Dijin abd Melanie, he said "hey guys, you want to go on a journey together?" He could tell that they are amazing people and wanted to team up with them.

Prof. Rowana walked over to a bag. This one hadnt ripped and he stuck his hand in and grabbed a pokeball. He walked over to Kingg and handed it to him. "Here ya go son." He said before turning to face the rest of the children. With everyone with their new Pokémon and goodies Prof. Told them that just north of the lab sat Lake Varity and that lead to route 201. Once he was done talking Melanie walked over to Crimson and Djinn. "So for it answering you questions earlier. There was a lot going on." She explained. She was still holding her little fire type in her arms. "This is Luna. She's the started I decided to go with." Melanie explained. "She thought about the boys offer to travel with him. "Umm. I don't know. Maybe.....we'll see what happens." She said with a smile as she walked past the two boys and out the front door. Prof. Rowan has went back to his daily routines and continued his pokeball clean up. "You kids have fun!" He shouted as he saw Melanie making her way our of the door.

Crimson smiled and walked beside Melanie, he said to her "this is going to be the best adventure ever!" He put Tyrunt on the ground so he could use his legs and stretch them. Tyruntu walked beside his new trainer, he was excited about what was to going to happen during this adventure. He waves his hand over to Dijin, he said "come on man, let's get this party started!"

Crimson just raise an eyebrow at Prometheus's greeting and thank you. He just keep on walking with everyone which was Melanie, Dijin and the new Physic kid that was going to travel with them.

There was a note, Djinn looked around before opening it. He nodded at the note and put it back in the Pokeball this was an odd Pokeball after that kid knocked down the shelf all he saw was a container open and out came a Pokeball. He wondered if the Prof. would mind him keeping it well his opinion didn't matter to him anyways so Djinn kept moving. He wiped the dust off the ball revealing an M, maybe he read it wrong. He turned it sideways and saw a piece of tape he ripped it off it basically said. GS in big letters, he just put the tape back on and held the Pokeball and showed it to his newfound partner who laid out on his head. Sandile nodded confirming the note was true.

Melanie stepped out if the lab. The sunny was bright and it's warm rays beamed down on the group of new acquaintances. Melanie had no need for the map that was given to her. At the Pokemon academy her father sent her too, she learned alot about the region and it's local Pokemon. But her navigational skills were a bit rusty. She pulled out the map and decided that Lake Varity was really close. " Looks like we're going for a swim boys." She said as she had memories of the lake with her father. Luna yelped happily. But Melanie doubted that she knew what was going on.

Crimsom said " awesome." It has been a while since he swam in a lake, plus he should follow her cause she knows this region or so he thinks. He thinks that he could go fishing as he does have a fishing rod his cousins and uncle gave him which he put in his backpack and he heard that water Pokemon are powerfully, so why not go fishing.
