grimm's fairytales (pbp interest check)

you can join, but after that i think i'll close it. this is already more players than i've ever had at once
So I'm interested in this if there is still room. I was thinking of doing the Pied Piper of Hamelin as a bard of some kind.

OK, I'm almost finished with Gaston. Just need to fill out the Attribute numbers and all that relate to them, Bonds, Personality Traits, Ideals, Flaws and one more level 1 spell and then I'm good to go.

general starting equipment for whatever your class is. everyone will get one common or uncommon magic item as a freebie because it's fairytale land. i am going to make the ooc and character sheet threads at some point today :]
Could we get clarification on how we'll determine our character attribute points? Standard array, roll,or point buy?

roll! 4d6 - the lowest

neverlandeds neverlandeds this is also a long overdue question, but are we doing Forgotten Realms or another published setting,or is this going to be a generic/original thing and details like names and places outside our immediate setting are up to us?

Alright, got the mechanical bits of my CS in order. I'll write any characterization bits...elsewhere,later,probably.

Say Nellancholy, how did you do that pdf view thing you did in the spoiler?
Create the spoiler, upload your pdf to Google Drive, then click the add media button to the right of the add quote button and paste the link.

Make sure the Google doc is accessible to everyone who has the link.

OK, I hope I'm doing this right. Here is Gaston at the present moment. If there are any mechanical changes that can be suggested then I'm all ears.

Alright, I’ve decided to make the Pied Piper as a Bard, who perhaps multiclasses into Druid. Unless of course there is a druid like subclass for Bard, which I’m not sure as I’m not super familiar with bards and will need to check through my D&D books. I’m hoping to get a character sheet up within the next couple of days.

We do already have one ranger in our party, but perhaps the swarmkeeper archetype is worth considering as either the primary class or multiclass? With the swarm taking the form of rats.

Of course bard/druid is very much fine as well.

Sorry for disappearing for a week, as I was preoccupied with pressing real life/family issues that took up all my time. Anyways I finished my character sheet and it is ready for review. I decided to make my Pied Piper a Druid, and I used Player’s Handbook, Volo’s Guide to Monsters, and Xanathar’s Guide to Everything as the books for creating my character.
